The Girl Who Reincarnated as a Vampire Heiress

Chapter 106

Chapter 106

Chloe felt that Xavier was purely worrying for nothing.

Her relationship with Anderson was great, as they had grown up together from a young age, being childhood friends. The relationship between the two of them was also very close—when Chloe fell into a frenzy, only Anderson knew how to soothe her.

But if it developed into that kind of unspeakable relationship that Xavier was worried about, Chloe felt it was unlikely.

In any case, she felt that this kind of thing wasn't something that would happen to her.

She also... didn't need this kind of feeling?

Chloe's tongue accidentally touched the fangs that had just emerged, and she hurriedly closed her mouth, controlling her tongue so it wouldn't move randomly.

Never mind, it's better not to continue thinking about this sort of thing.

In the blink of an eye, Chloe put these matters out of her mind and began to seriously train.

...

With one military academy missing from the Joint Military Academy Competition, the organizers were at their wits' end.

From the very first competition, these four military academies had competed together. Now that Brut Military Academy had been permanently banned, the championship could only be decided between The No.1 Military Academy, Tagar Military Academy, and Sasley Military Academy.

But three military academies were still too few, and their competition schedule had originally been set for four academies. If it weren't for the pressure from the Vampire Ancestor, even though Brut Military Academy had committed such a serious offense, the organizers would not have permanently banned them.

This was a very real problem.

Due to this accident, the Joint Military Academy Competition was postponed. According to the higher-ups, they needed to recruit another military academy to participate.

But this was not an easy task.

The remaining three military academies were all long-established, powerful continental academies, not the kind that could be easily matched by just any military academy.

If they recruited a subpar academy that got badly beaten by the students of the other three during the competition, not only would the audience be unhappy, but public opinion would criticize the organizers for being perfunctory in their work.

This would not be a good thing.

The competition organizers had been extremely busy during this period, and ultimately decided to postpone the entire competition until they could find a suitable military academy, at which point they would restart the competition.

When this news came out, even the dumbbells in Chloe's hands lost their appeal.

She looked towards Ren Yunying, who had come to notify them:

"This postponement, until when will it be delayed?"

Ren Yunying: "The officials haven't said, probably a few months or so."

"That long?" Daniel tossed away the barbell and sat cross-legged on the ground. "Then what are we going to do during that time? We're not going back to the military academy, are we?"

That would be no fun at all.

Ren Yunying saw through his thoughts, but didn't say much more:

"During this time, you can go wherever you want to play. We won't stop you. Even if you want to go on a space tour, the organizers will provide you with a spaceship."

As soon as these words fell, the students of The No.1 Military Academy perked up.

"We can go anywhere? For real?"

Ren Yunying said impatiently: "Would I lie to you?"

Qin Huaibei immediately became excited: "Then, would you all like to visit my home?"

These words caused some surprise among the others.

Chloe blinked her eyes: "Your home? You're inviting us to the Human Realm?"

"Yes, what's the problem?" Qin Huaibei rubbed his nose. "We have so many delicious foods and fun things there. You really don't want to come and see?"

He pondered for a moment: "If you don't want to come to the Human Realm, Chloe can take us to her place to play as well."

When he said this, Daniel immediately shook his head: "No way! I don't want to go to the Vampire Territory! Even though Chloe is okay, the other vampires don't like werewolves."

Even Chloe's father didn't like werewolves, so Daniel certainly wasn't going to look for trouble.

But in fact, no race really liked the rough and belligerent werewolf race, except that the vampires simply didn't bother to hide their dislike.

Qin Huaibei coughed twice to show his embarrassment, then carefully asked:

"Then how about we go to my place?"

Everyone looked at each other, and no one had any objections to this.

Chloe was very excited. In all her years, she had never actually been to the territory of another race before.

She immediately kicked away all the training equipment and crowded around Qin Huaibei to ask about the unique sights and cuisine of the Human Realm.

Qin Huaibei patiently explained everything, patting his chest to assure them that he would definitely treat them well as his guests.

With that, there was nothing more to be said—they would probably spend these few months playing in the Human Realm.

After the discussion, Chloe happily approached Ren Yunying:

"Instructor, will you be going with us?"

Ren Yunying tapped on her light screen: "The school's laboratories have a ton of things happening. There's no way I can get away."

She gave Chloe a sidelong glance: "First there was that illusion creature, then Anderson brought back that strange lifeform. Those two have kept me busy enough."

Chloe took a few seconds to recall the strange lifeform that Ren Yunying mentioned.

—Ah, she meant that weird octopus.

Chloe immediately lost interest and muttered:

"What's there to research about that stupid octopus?"

"Is that so?" Ren Yunying looked at her with amusement. "I think that octopus seems to like you. Don't you want to take some time to go see it?"

Thinking of the strange way that octopus had behaved in front of her, Chloe found it hard to accept: "Maybe later. Right now, I don't really want to see it."

Hearing this, Ren Yunying seemed a bit regretful: "All right, then you all just enjoy yourselves during this time and relax."

"But remember, no matter how much you play, don't neglect your training. If I come back and see that you all can't even run anymore, you'll see how I discipline you."

Chloe covered her ears, pretending not to hear anything, and turned and ran away.

...

The next day, a small spacecraft from the competition organizers came and picked up Chloe and the others, who had already packed their belongings. They boarded the spacecraft, preparing to fly back to the continent and go to the Human Realm.

Chloe was excited. It wasn't until she got on the spacecraft that she grabbed Anderson and asked him if he had packed his luggage properly.

Anderson patiently listed out everything he had brought for Chloe, one by one, allowing her to stop worrying and finally settle down completely.

The spacecraft flew directly towards outer space, leaving the Frigid Planet and heading towards the planet where the continent was located.

As long as they were outside the Frigid Planet's vicinity, the bone-chilling cold would disappear.

Chloe took off her heavy thermal suit and changed into her usual light clothing, immediately feeling much more comfortable.

The Frigid Planet was fun, but it was just too cold. Added to that, they had encountered so many incidents during this one visit, making it not really worth it.

After some thought, Chloe felt that the Vampire Territory was still the most fun.

She just didn't know what the Human Realm would be like.

Before arriving on the continent, Qin Huaibei handwrote a small booklet, listing all the rules and taboos that couldn't be violated in the Human Realm, leaving everyone's jaws dropping in shock.

Seriously, so many rules in the Human Realm?
