In the end I could only choose to set that matter aside for the moment as I had quite a lot on my plate and the shadow organization wasn't likely to go anywhere in a short span of time. Not saying Wes and Rui weren't probably going to throw massive wrenches into the organizations plans but all they were accomplishing so far was scattering it's members by busting up the operations. None of the criminal groups members had really been captured during the raid in Pyrite town with that branches leader even getting away after losing a pokemon battle.-

To put it bluntly Wes and Rui were being way too inefficient at taking on the organization. Even if they managed to somehow put the organization on the back foot it would be temporary at most if the members were left to roam freely. Anyways we soon arrived back at the Hub and I released my pokemon to go do whatever it is they wanted while I myself moved to use my new ability ticket. It was my hope that I got another aura centric ability so that my current reserves could grow large.-

It may seem like I was taking on more abilities than I could handle training at once but the fact of the matter was that I simply didn't use a good chunk of the abilities I had for a few different reasons. Emotional suppression was becoming less and less useful to me as I got used to feeling emotions on a regular basis if only minutely. Roar I used only when in battle and only then because it made it easier for my orders to go through to my pokemon. Perfect body, Dragon eye and Water breathing were passive abilities. Mine simply didn't fit my style of doing things and water creation was too weak to use.-

Out of all my abilities the only ones I used regularly to the point of needing to train them were X-ray, Boost, Healing and Appraise. Not to sound like a braggart but I was pretty damn sure that I was good at all of them already. Besides all this though I had time to work on a new ability if what I got was worth investing time into. I was on vacation here in Orre from being a pokemon trainer so devoting some extra time like this would hardly cause me any problems.-

With this in mind I took a seat on my new chair before taking out the ticket and throwing a prayer to RNGESUS before tearing it in half. As per usual rainbow smoke billowed out as the ticket turned into it and formed the multicolored wheel that held all my possible options. Fingers crossed I waited as it began to spin rapidly for an entire minute as per usual before landing on an option that was green in color. [Minor plant manipulation] was what I got and I must admit that I was excited about it.

First because it was an aura centric ability like I wanted and second because it was an ability with a stupid amount of utility even for non-alchemists. As the rainbow smoke flowed into my body my spark of aura grew by double which wasn't a lot of growth but growth was growth so I was happy regardless. With this new ability came the instinctual knowledge on how to utilize it and I was left slightly disappointed. See the plant manipulation ability that I was thinking of was the version capable of planting seeds before forcing them to take root, sprout and bloom to maturity in mere moments.-

Cross breed normally incompatible plant species and even cause plants to produce type energy affinity mutant strains. The most well known user of this ability was simply referred to as "Gardner Saint" as he nomadically traveled the world spreading potent ingredient species plants in an attempt to enrich the local alchemical populations. That man was one of the few people that I whole heartedly agreed deserved the title of saint unlike myself who should definitely not be associated with the word. While I acted for the betterment of the world I was fully willing to admit how savage my actions were.-

I carved a bloody swathe through Hoenn that was so horrifying that no criminal with intact sanity was willing to act up with my mere presence in a city. At the same time I was willing to bet that the rest of the criminal organization with access to the pokenet were keeping a close eye out for me entering their home regions. No doubt both out of caution as well as to try and kill me off at first sight. -

I had already proven that if left alone I can and will fuck up these criminal groups and so they may as well bite the bullet and throw everything at me while they still can. It wouldn't surprise me if Giovani himself were to come to put me down should I step foot in Kanto or Johto. Naturally the clever bastard would leave any evidence of him being involved but I very much doubted that he'd just sit back while I dismantled team Rocket, he might but I doubted it. That was the scary thing about the man, I couldn't actually say for certain if he would be willing to just cut the organizations ties to him and watch it burn or not.-

All the records of the man paint him as a cynical realist who wouldn't hesitate to make the hard call if it meant a better outcome for him. You could see it in how his pokemon were trained to sacrifice themselves if it meant victory. Hell he kept a Golem on his team SPECIFICALLY for the self destruction move if he finds one of his opponents pokemon particularly troublesome. Anyways back to my new ability. So I could in fact do the stuff the Gardner Saint could but to a much lesser degree which was where the word "minor" should come from in the abilities name.-

To better explain while he could do all this amazing stuff with plants in mere moments my new ability took WAY longer, like hours longer. Don't get me wrong I am definitely not going to complain as even with this level of power the ability was a godsend for an alchemist like me. Finding powerful ingredients has always been a hassle for alchemists like me and while that was greatly lessened by the foraging skill for me I was still quite limited.-

This new ability however changed all that as if I wanted an ingredient with a specific property I could forcefully cultivate a strain with it in a short period of time. Funnily enough I was relieved that I hadn't been stubborn and kept that ancient Tropius back in Hoenn as the main appeal of it would have been rendered pointless the moment I got this ability. Don't get me wrong the thing had the potential to be an amazing battler just by it's dual dragon/grass typing but I had an overabundance of powerful battlers at the moment.
