"This is…amazing."

Isaac didn't know how effective this was yet, but just based on the description, his mind went wild thinking of the endless possibilities.

'What else?'

Looking down, Isaac identified each item.

The first was a familiar compass Isaac had grown a deep connection to.

It was the same compass Isaac had used to identify the directions of the nearest beasts while in the Dark Continent. It was also one of the main reasons Isaac was able to complete his scenario.

Although, he noticed the compass was pointing in the right direction, being north.

'It's a Nen powered item. I'm not going to discard its usefulness just yet. Besides, it's probably not working because there aren't Nen users in the vicinity.'

Smiling widely, Isaac wore the compass over his neck as a nostalgic feeling washed over him.

The second item was a single Aroze.

Although Isaac didn't have a use for it like he did in the Dark Continent.

Not only was the atmosphere on Earth different to the Dark Continent, meaning he wouldn't be protected from the Aroze if he decided to eat it, but there was no shortage of food anymore.

Placing the Aroze to the side, Isaac stared toward a piece of paper folded clumsily.

'Ah, I remember this.'

Isaac remembered the piece of paper before him as the page he tore from Don's journal.

He never got a chance to examine it while in his Scenario and thought he might have lost it forever.

Unfolding the piece of paper, Isaac's eyes fell upon a small paragraph, the rest of the pages looking like the drawing of a child.

"Inside the Dark Continent, there are too many unanswered questions. What are the effects of eating this plant? What happens if that flying ball of light touches me and where does this passage leads, and more." Isaac began reading what was written on the piece of paper.

"If I were to document as much as I could about the Dark Continent before my demise, I needed to do more. It was then that I thought of the idea for…Avatar Projection."

Isaac paused a few seconds on the last sentence.

"Avatar Projection was a Nen technique I created that allowed me to create a perfect ethereal clone of myself. Despite not being a physical entity, once it disappeared, all its knowledge and experience would return to me."

"This allowed me to survey the areas of the Dark Continent I previously stayed away from. However, there was more."

"Upon mastering the technique, my Avatar would gain a physical body. Capable of fighting and speaking. At first glance, it was a perfect clone."

"This allowed me to understand the effects of the Zobae Disease, Hellbell's bite, and many more. It was because of this that I survived for so long."

Isaac stayed quiet.

Soon, Contorting his face in confusion.

Turning the page upside down, looking at it from different angles, Isaac tried to make sense of the drawings.

'It's a valuable technique, but what's with the poor artwork?'

After a minute, he could somewhat make out the contents of the images.

'This…isn't easy. On just a first glance, it'll be harder than learning Invisible Ten in the Dark Continent's atmosphere. Mastering it to Don's level is something else.'

Despite this, Isaac wasn't dissatisfied. In fact, it was the opposite. This was just another weapon he would soon have in his arsenal.

Moving on, Isaac paused on the last item, scratching his head as he did.

'What am I supposed to do with this?'

Before him was a cylinder glass filled with a clear solution, and most notably, two eyeballs.

Bringing the cylinder closer to his face, Isaac turned it, glancing at it from different angles.

'How do I open it?'

As he looked for an opening, Isaac caught a glimpse of the pupils of the eyes.

They were crimson red.

Seeing this, Isaac's jaw dropped as he was left speechless.

'The Scarlet Eyes?!'

A wave of emotions bubbled inside Isaac, the most prominent being excitement. From what he knew, all the plans he had with the eyes weren't possible with modern-day technology.

But he was in a fantasy land now where teleportation and magic were the norm. He was sure he could manage.

'If only Monet knew I had this. I can practically envision her pulling her hair out.'

Isaac chuckled.

As he thought this, he looked around.

'Where do I put these?'

He could hide the compass under his clothes, but he couldn't carry around Scarlet Eyes.

If someone saw then, he'd instantly have a giant target on his back.

Additionally, he had to leave the Aroze, too. It'd glow through his pockets if he carried them the same way he did in his Scenario.

-Knock Knock

As he was in thought, Isaac heard a knock coming from his door.

Quickly hiding the eyes and Aroze under his bed, Isaac did the best he could to look presentable.

It didn't help that he was dripping in sweat.

Opening the door, before Isaac stood a boy with blonde styled hair and a bright smile.

"Zach?" Isaac raised an eyebrow.

"Isaac? What are you…what a coincidence. To think we'd become roommates. I just came to say hello to whoever was laughing with themselves." Zach teased as he giggled.

Isaac paused, soon smiling in defeat.

"You heard that, huh?" Isaac rubbed the back of his head.

"Mhm, but it's fine. It happens to the best of us. Oh, allow me to introduce you to our third roommate."

As Zach pointed behind him, a short boy with thick glasses, light freckles, and brown hair styled in a combover came into view.

"Hello, my name is Oliver Clover. It's a pleasure to meet you." Oliver held out his hand, to which Isaac shook.

'He's well spoken.'

"I was just about to go get some lunch. Would you both like to join me?" Oliver asked with a chipper smile, slyly wiping his hand on his pants after shaking Isaac's wet hand.

Before Isaac could refuse, he thought of something.

'I'm curious whether or not I can eat regular food.'

"Sure. Just let me get changed." Isaac nodded as Oliver turned his head to Zach.

After a slight pause, Zach spoke.

"Yes, I'd like that."

***

'Too much.'

Isaac gave a disappointed sigh, shaking his head while scrolling through the market, a large blue screen before him projected from his watch.

The three roommates were seated in a café within campus.

He was currently looking for something that could help him store his items. And to his surprise, the equipment of Spawn was just as fantastical as the people.

Houses that can be stored in capsules, pens that could change one's appearance and accessories, like pouches and rings that held small pocket dimensions in them, allowing one to store things.

These pocket dimensions were what Isaac was currently searching. But the problem was that even the cheapest one, being a small brown sack that could hold 5 cubic metres, sold for 25,000S.

For someone like Isaac, who had no source of income, other than the small allowance the Academy gave him of 300S for basic necessities, it would take too long to save up.

"What's wrong?" Oliver asked.

As a plate of food he'd barely touched lay before him, Zach and Oliver stared at Isaac as he mumbled to himself.

"Nothing. I'm just a little short on money. These items cost a fortune." Isaac closed the screen, ignoring his food.

He'd noticed after one bite, although he could still savour the taste, the food passed through him like air.

He didn't think this was a big problem, seeing as how Zach did the same. He could just make the excuse that it didn't taste great.

He immediately lost his appetite upon realising how much money he'd wasted.

"I mean, who needs a house you can carry in your pocket as a capsule. Who would waste their time on creating such a thing."

Staring at Isaac, Oliver raised an eyebrow.

"Isaac, you wouldn't happen to be an Outsider, would you?"

Isaac paused, pondering the question.

"Outsider? If you're asking whether I was born in Spawn, the answer is no. In fact, this is my first day here."

Isaac quickly found out most residents in Spawn were born here, all being inheritors. To the point where whole families were established.

Oliver gave a nod of understanding. He somewhat suspected this.

"Me too." Zach added, continuing as the two stared at him with suprise.

"Now that I think about it, we don't know much about each other. Why don't we start by sharing our character."

"My character named 'Rikuto Fujioka', of the My Hero Academia verse."

Oliver's eyes sparkled as he stared at Zach.

"Wow, that's amazing! What's your quirk?"

Oliver asked enthusiastically.

"Um, Rapid Regeneration. What about you?" Zach replied, taken aback.

Oliver returned to us usual self as he wore an awkward smile.

"Actually, I'm a sort of late bloomer. I haven't entered my Scenario just yet."

'Is that allowed?' Isaac thought.

In an academy that prided itself on its flamboyance and unpredictability, someone like Oliver would never survive.

"Oh, don't worry, I don't participate in the dangerous activities like today. Not yet, at least."

As if Oliver could read Isaac's thoughts, he reassured everyone.

As both Oliver and Zach stared at Isaac, they waited for him to speak.

"I'm a Wanderer."

Oliver and Zach stared blankly.

-SLAM

Oliver slapped his palms on the table as he stood up frantically.

"A what?!"

Isaac smiled defeatedly.

"Did you say a Wanderer? Wow, I thought they were a myth." Zach commented.

"Me too! What was your Scenerio? What verse were you sent to? Are you at a disadvantage without a character?"

Oliver bombarded Isaac with a flurry of questions as Isaac slowly stood up, slyly backing away.

"Hey, where are you going?" Oliver asked, seeing Isaac moving away from them step by step.

"I have some things to do."

Isaac wasn't lying. He still had little to know about his Zobae Disease, Zoldyck Genes, and Nen.

"Like what?"

"Just stuff."

"Great, I'll watch." Oliver followed Isaac.

"Actually, I do my stuff alone."

"I wouldn't mind observing, too." Zach followed them with a smile.

"Hey, I said no. Leave me alone." Isaac darted to the door as the other two followed behind.

And so, three individuals could be seen chasing after each other as their yells filled the empty campus.

"Come on, just tell us."

Isaac grinded his teeth.

"I need to train!"
