Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

Chapter 113

Chapter 113

Then as she kept thinking she suddenly remembered that she had lost control of her power once before and the man that was inside Keiji's house was the same as the man who had stopped her before. Although it was only a piece of her memory and it was kinda blurry she was sure that it was the same man.

"Right! I remember now," Mia suddenly blurted out as she looked at Klyzer with a smile.

"He was the one who stopped me before I went berserk," Mia said, which shocked Klyzer. As her best friend she naturally knew the importance of the man who stopped Mia before. It was a benefactor for Mia, the man she was pointing out was the man in her previous story, and based on it that man was the only possible entity that saved her brother before and Mia was still grateful for it.

Thus, they went back again towards Keiji's penthouse as Mia wanted to express her gratitude and also confirm some things. Klyzer couldn't help but follow the suit as she was her best friend.

But this information also made her more curious about Keiji's background. It only pointed out that Keiji had a terrifying background but the problem is Klyzer was also someone who had an important background and it is almost close to impossible that there is someone at Keiji's level who was not known especially since Klyzer's background was special. Her father was someone who held a whole lot of information and as the sole daughter of her father, she was able to obtain and see that information.

This is why there is no one at Keiiji's level who she wasn't aware of. Her father was not a simple man and he had a very high position in one of the top organizations which is the Union. This is also the reason why she was able to have some high authority and had a lot of knowledge and information about those top organizations.

And she could only think that if Keiji was at the level she was thinking, he wouldn't be able to hide their information. Unless there is someone who had authority much higher than his father that was hiding the information from them or Keiji was affiliated with someone that is an enemy of the Union.

Ding!

Keiji heard the sound again and he was a little displeased because he was currently watching the climax of the movie. He extended his hand and picked up the remote control and used it to pause what he was watching.

He stood up and opened the door for them.

"Keiji, is the man before, still inside?" Mia asked.

"He already went out. Why?"

"Ohh!" Mia's face was saddened before she asked Keiji "But do you know who he is?"

"Of course, why would I let a stranger in my house?"

Mia was at loss for words as she went dumb for a moment when she asked that question.

"I mean is there any relationship between the two of you?"

"Do you think I am someone who will love a man?"

Mia wanted to brandish her fist at Keiji at that moment but she resisted herself and said.

"Duh, I mean relationship as in friend or is he your family or relatives"

"Friend? Family?" Keiji thought for a moment. He hasn't used the words, friend and family, for a very long time that he almost forgot their meaning.

"No, he's not."

"Then what is he to you?"

"Nothing,"

"I thought you won't let a stranger in your house?"

"Uhm! Yeah, but I know his name so he's not a stranger."

"Then can you tell us what's his name?" Mia lit up as Keiji said that he knew the man's name.

"His name is Ivan."

"Ivan?" Mia wanted to hear more of it but Keiji didn't continue.

"Don't you want to sit first?"

"Ohh, yes please," Klyzer said as she also didn't want them to just talk outside.

"Ok then, come in" Keiji opened the door and he also went inside and sat on the couch where he previously was.

"Ok, what is it?" Keiji asked them although he had already guessed what it was because he had already read their minds earlier.

"Can you tell me his full name, it's just very important for me," Mia said in a pleading voice as she really wanted to know about it.

"Unfortunately no,"

"But, why?"

"Why not ask him yourself?"

"But I don't know where he is? Do you know where I can find him?"

"I don't know," Keiji didn't bother to explain anymore as he reached out his hand and grabbed the remote control before playing the television.

sigh!...

Mia couldn't help but sigh in defeat as she wouldn't force Keiji to answer her questions. She looked at Keiji as she wanted to ask more questions but Keiji was already watching the television which was why she stopped and didn't continue asking questions.

After an awkward silence, Mia and Klyzer finally decide to leave as they find it inconvenient to stay any further. They thought that maybe Keiji had some special reason as to why he couldn't answer their question, so they did not pester him anymore.

After Mia and Klyzer left it was already four in the afternoon and Keiji continued to watch as he kept track of the time. He was waiting for the start of the auction so he patiently watched on the television and waited for the time.

After leaving Keiji's place both Mia and Klyzer both go out as they planned before. They really planned to go out and enjoy their day but because of the series of events, they weren't able to do so. Thus, they decided to go out after they left Keiji's place.

Meanwhile, in a certain household, Ryle was a little bit anxious as he kept logging in and out of the virtual world waiting for Keiji to appear. He didn't want to let Keiji wait for him as Keiji was like someone who gave him an opportunity and he wanted to at least repay him.

He did not want to use all his time waiting for Keiji because Keiji might appear after his time run out especially he could only play Ravaryn for a certain amount of time so he kept logging in and out so that He wouldn't use all his time and in case Keiji went online he could play with him but until now Keiji didn't go online.

He couldn't confirm it as he doesn't have Keiji's contact information so he couldn't ask him if he was already playing or he put the wrong username and added the wrong person.
