"Chef, when will my dish be ready? The customer has started to rush!" Alexander was deep in thought when Jiang Ping, the veteran, came over with a look of urgency.
"Wait, after his dish is done, it's your turn!" The chef ghost raised his head in annoyance, his voice filled with menace.
"Why is that, wasn't I the one who ordered first!" Jiang Ping was obviously getting anxious, even starting to question.
The chef, whose temper had been ignited by Alexander, turned his head violently and glared fiercely at Jiang Ping: "Either wait patiently, or go and deal with the VIP in the VIP area! Or, I could put you, this damn worm, directly on a plate and send it up. I'm sure the customers would love it!"
"Wait, I'll wait!" Jiang Ping backed off in fear, waving his hands repeatedly.
"Hmph, an ignorant worm, if there's a next time, you'll be the delicious meal on my plate!" The chef ghost snorted coldly, continuing to cook.
"It's all your fault!" Jiang Ping glared resentfully at Alexander.
He didn't dare to confront the chef ghost, but transferred all his hatred onto Alexander. He said, "You're going to die anyway, why cause trouble for me! Do you know the consequences of making the customers wait! You deserve to die!"
"Which table are your customers at?" Alexander didn't get angry, but asked calmly.
"What, are you jealous? My customers are at table three. Even if I'm delayed a bit, it doesn't matter much, at worst the score will be a bit lower. You're different!" When it came to this, Jiang Ping started to feel proud and scoffed, "Who told you to offend the manager as soon as you arrived!"
"Don't worry, I'm not a magnanimous person! Just because you delayed me from getting my dish, even if the red-dressed ghost spares you, I will kill you sooner or later!"
As he spoke, the chef had already finished a plate of unknown vegetables, which looked like normal food.
Indeed, the color, smell, and taste seemed quite right.
Hearing Jiang Ping's words, Alexander asked strangely, "Just because I delayed you for a moment? You're determined to kill me?"
"So what!" Jiang Ping said proudly, "I'm not afraid to tell you, I've been through five instances, and my ghost qi has reached sixty points. No one here understands horror instances better than I do!"
"If you get slaughtered by the woman in the red dress, so be it. But if you're lucky enough to survive, I have a hundred ways to kill you!"
"Who made you offend the manager, if I kill you, I'm sure I can get the manager's favor."
Upon hearing this, Alexander finally understood what Jiang Ping was up to.
In order to curry favor with the manager, he actually wanted to kill him.
"Then I wish your wish comes true."
Alexander, the corner of his mouth slightly turned up, picked up the plate of green vegetables and walked outside.
The movement in the VIP area naturally became the focus of the whole restaurant.
The chosen ones and customers, who originally thought that Alexander had some tricks up his sleeve, were shocked to see him really coming out with a plate of green vegetables.
"Goodness, he wants to dismiss the lady in the red dress with a plate of green vegetables. This man must be mad!"
"He's done for, this guy is simply seeking his own death!"
...
The ghost customers in the restaurant were whispering to each other, with a look of schadenfreude on their faces.
Just as Alexander was about to return to the VIP section, a foot quietly stretched out from the third table as he passed by.
Alexander was tripped up and nearly dropped the dish he was carrying, which immediately caused the ghost customers to burst into laughter.
The culprit was a headless ghost customer from table number three. To be precise, he was not headless, a young man's head with a small braid was placed on the dining table.
He had a triumphant smile on his face and loudly declared, "Ladies and gentlemen, I've claimed this one. The Lady in Red doesn't seem to need more flesh today. She's likely too lazy to take away this guy's body. Since I claimed him first, naturally he belongs to me!"
Hearing this, the people around showed regretful expressions. It seemed that such teasing was some sort of tradition, and they regretted not acting first.
The head on the table looked at Alexander, who was staring at him, and sneered, "What are you looking at? You should thank me! Thank Lady in Red! If you were to become her meat, you would be cut up alive more than thirty thousand times. I'm not so picky. It's rare for me to eat in a restaurant, and adding a meal on the side wouldn't hurt."
Apparently, he considered Alexander as his food.
The ghost in the red dress in the VIP area also watched this scene without any reaction, seeming to acquiesce.
Seeing this, the head became even more triumphant, and urged Alexander, "Hurry up, don't you see the Lady in Red is waiting?"
Alexander, holding that plate of greens, seemed resigned as he turned around.
However, no one noticed the trace of a smirk at the corner of his mouth.
Not needing flesh means she probably won't have to piece the flesh of the selected onto her own body like in the video.
This gave him a bit more confidence.
"So this is the dish you chose for me? Quite good, but…" Looking at the greens Alexander brought, the ghost in the red dress's lips curled slightly, "I'm in the mood for meat now, whole meat. What do you suggest we do?"
With a flick of his hand, the head flew directly towards Alexander. His teeth became sharp as wolf's fangs, his mouth wide open, biting fiercely towards Alexander's neck.
14:41
Alexander faintly sensed a red light flashing in the eyes of the woman in the red dress. Following that, an irresistible thought arose in his mind.
Satisfy her!
Terrifying, just one glance could influence his thinking!
Alexander was secretly alarmed. The urge to satisfy her became stronger and stronger in his mind.
It was fortunate that he had greatly enhanced his mental resistance since becoming a ghost host, otherwise he would have taken up a knife and fork to serve himself already.
However, even so, it was becoming increasingly difficult to resist the urge to please her.
Fortunately, Alexander didn't plan on resisting. Under the astonished gaze of everyone, he turned around again, walked directly to the headless ghost:
"Sir, your actions just now have interfered with my work, and you need to compensate."
"What did you say?" The headless ghost couldn't believe his own ears, grabbed his hair, lifted his head in front of Alexander, and coldly said, "Compensate? You, a bug, dare to ask me for compensation? What compensation do you want?"
"Sir!" Alexander continued, neither humble nor arrogant, "Since you've interfered with my service to the customers, naturally you should make corresponding compensation. For example, how about offering yourself up?"
The headless ghost was stunned by Alexander's audacity, subconsciously thinking it was the idea of the ghost in the red dress. Looking over, he saw the ghost in the red dress was just watching this scene with interest.
He sighed in relief, then glared viciously at Alexander:"Filthy bug, dirty rat, if you're looking for death, I'll oblige. I want to see where you got the courage to say those words!"
The headless ghost began to emanate ghostly energy from his head.
With a flick of his hand, the head flew directly towards Alexander. His teeth became sharp as wolf's fangs, his mouth wide open, biting fiercely towards Alexander's neck.
However, the next moment...
Thunk!
With a muffled sound, the head flew out like a baseball. In Alexander's hand, a blood-stained baseball bat was emitting a chilling ghostly aura.
