Chapter 388: Why See Through Others!

Chapter 388: Why See Through Others!

What Qin Ming wanted to do was simple; he wanted to clean out the Qin Family, wipe out the old people who took up 80% of the Qin Family’s resources, and then develop a new generation of disciples to reestablish honor and confidence in the family.

Those old people had to consume numerous resources to extend their lifespans each year. The youth weren’t able to get any resources and that was a truly weird development model.

But before developing family descendants, Qin Ming had to solve the Qin Family’s biggest problem.

This problem was the demon!

This was why when Qin Ming said that he wanted to wipe out the demon, the remaining people in the Qin Family were unsure of whether they could succeed.

“Qin Ming, you are the only emperor in Qin Family. Although you are strong and can support the Qin Family, if you are not here, then what will happen to us?” A middle-aged man was worried.

The others looked at Qin Ming with worry too.

The Qin Family people knew that if they didn’t have emperors, they definitely wouldn’t be able to defend the moon and might get chased out.

The Qin Family only had one emperor, Qin Ming, and if something happened to him, then the Qin Family would be on the verge of collapsing.

Qin Ming looked at the middle-aged man and smiled, “Sixth uncle, if I don’t deal with this demon, would you be supportive if I sent another martyr over like those bunch of old men?”

The middle-aged man he called sixth uncle hesitated, “That is still a solution. I think that if we have no choice we can still bear with it.”

“Okay, I heard that sixth uncle has a precious daughter who just turned sixteen. She is so beautiful, so I think that she can be the new martyr. Does sixth uncle agree?” Qin Ming’s lips curled up as he asked.

“This…” Sixth uncle looked at Qin Ming in shock. He didn’t expect Qin Ming to actually want his daughter to be the martyr.

“What? Sixth uncle doesn’t agree?” Qin Ming’s face turned cold.

“This isn’t a problem about agreeing or not. Qin Yue, beside you is a martyr and after her, another was chosen. So, why did you mention my daughter?” Sixth uncle was furious.

“Sixth uncle!” Qin Ming said coldly.

“I gave you face and called you sixth uncle. If I don’t give you face, a Boundless Realm like you won’t be good enough to rage in front of an Emperor Realm!” Qin Ming was angry as he looked coldly at the middle-aged man in front of him.

The middle-aged man was terrified.

Now, he recalled the gap between the two of them, and that made him really frustrated.

“You are okay with someone else’s daughter becoming the martyr but when I make your daughter the martyr, then you get furious. You really love your daughter.” Qin Ming mocked.

Sixth uncle’s face turned red and then it instantly turned black as he looked helplessly at Qin Ming.

“It’s fate.” Sixth uncle said in frustration.

Just one sentence totally infuriated Moon Angel who was standing to the side.

Fate!

Fate again!

Moon Angel hated it when cowards kept mentioning fate.

“In the end, you just can’t bear to send your daughter but you’re willing to send others. Exchanging women for time while you were free… The Qin Family has many like you, so we became a bunch of cowards with no balls.” Moon Angel said coldly.

Sixth uncle was speechless and many Qin Family people looked at him with weird expressions.

No one was able to ensure that the martyr wouldn’t come from their own relatives or daughters.

So, most of them were happy with Qin Ming’s choice.

Qin Ming was the first person from Qin Family to say that he wanted to wipe out the demon after these tens of thousands of years.

But everyone was worried. Could he really do that?

After Qin Ming dissed sixth uncle, he looked at the people around and said firmly, “For the peaceful lives of all daughters of the Qin Family and for them not needing to worry about being chosen as martyr, I will definitely destroy that demon.”

“Good luck!” Suddenly, a 13-year-old girl shouted emotionally.

Qin Ming looked and smiled.

This girl was the new martyr after Moon Angel. Once she reached 16, she would be sent to the demon.

The little girl’s well wishes were like streaks of light giving Qin Ming strength.

For this girl’s smile, Qin Ming felt like he had to solve this demon problem at once.

“Scatter, just stay at home, if… If I fail, then use the teleportation formation to leave.” Qin Ming left them a way out.

Then, Qin Ming turned around and left.

If he failed, he told the Qin Family people to leave with the teleportation formation, but he didn’t say what would happen to him.

Everyone clearly knew that if he failed, Qin Ming would definitely be dead. A large portion of them felt like Qin Ming would fail, but he still decided to do this.

The outline of his back view seemed really majestic and noble.

Moon Angel looked at Qin Ming and felt happy. Although Qin Family was corrupted to the core, Qin Ming’s appearance meant that they had hope and he would be the one to save the Qin Family.

Qin Ming and Moon Angel headed towards the Qin Family tomb!

In this mausoleum, there was a main tomb.

This was the tomb of the Qin Family old ancestor, a very strong person.

There was also a bloodline cleansing power. Qin Ming promised Moon Angel and now he brought her over.

Walking into the mausoleum, the elder at the entrance was sitting on the ground in silence looking at the cherry blossoms.

He was deaf and blind, so why did he like to look at the trees?

Could he even see them?

Moon Angel had many questions in her heart.

“Do you know this old man?” Moon Angel asked Qin Ming.

“I do. He’s an old man. When I came to pray to the ancestors I would often see him here. Now, he is still here, but looking at him, he doesn’t have long left.” Qin Ming said as he sized up the old man and shook his head.

“The old man’s cultivation is so high?” Moon Angel was curious. She didn’t detect the old man’s cultivation.

“If he doesn’t, how can a blind and deaf old man possibly live here for so long?” Qin Ming said.

Moon Angel looked. It did make sense.

“This old man hid it well and even I couldn’t see through his cultivation.” Moon Angel exclaimed.

“It is normal because I can’t either.” Qin Ming smiled.

“You are already an emperor and you can’t?” Moon Angel was shocked.

“Why do you have to see through a blind and deaf old man?” Qin Ming didn’t understand.

Moon Angel was speechless.

“Everyone has their own secrets and each person is hiding many things. Many people are afraid of others finding out so that they can have a good life.”

“Regardless of the level of his cultivation, he has guarded this place for so many years, so why would you see through him?” Qin Ming’s philosophical words made Moon Angel silent.
