At his home Ezekiel was bringing back food from work, he was excited to tell his mother about his new promotion just because he wanted to celebrate.

When she saw all the food she was actually surprised.

"What are you doing hun? Why did you get so much, we aren't having a party are we?"

Ezekiel smiled wide and hugged his mother while bringing her to the table to show her the extra copy of the contract he asked for.

She took a few minutes to read everything before looking at him in astonishment.

"That's a pretty big raise just for a game?"

He started explaining the new responsibilities in better detail and by the time he was done she was very excited for him.

"So you can do a whole shift just gaming? That's great!"

They sat down to eat and relax while discussing different things.

Eventually they got back to discussing the new game.

"So how are you doing in the game anyway?"

"I'm doing very well actually, I got to lv 100 before the servers closed."

She gave a small cheer for him before taking her phone out to show him something.

"That means you're really close to the number one player, that's amazing!"

She showed him a short video where people were talking about the various achievements of the top players.

While they were talking Ezekiel actually told her about the dungeon.

"I might actually be one of the players they're talking about, I did a dungeon with a few people I met and we got a server wide announcement after we beat it."

While he was talking he actually got to see the video from the multiple perspectives of the recorders.

He got to see what he looked like when he was simply moving and doing his normal actions.

Apparently his normal posture made him look evil.

The clips had removed the audio but they still showed the server announcement and the leaderboard.

"Oh i assume you're one of them?"

She was watching again and replaying the clip, when trying to speak up she shushed him.

"Quiet I want to guess which one you are sweety, you're either the big red one or the elf."

"Actually the red one is a woman."

As she was shushing him again she stopped and looked at War God again.

"Then you're the elf, why would you make such a twink though?"

"I'm the devil, the gray one."

She sighed loudly after that.

"When did my sweet baby boy become emo? Why did you make such an edgy character huh?"

"Mom come on, I didn't design my character that way. The game chose the way I looked."

"If you start growing your hair out like that I'll cut it off in your sleep i swear to the Lord boy."

"I'm not emo mom oh my god, i can't grow my hair out anyway it's to curly for that."

"Oh shush I love your curls."

He laughed and moved his head away from her hand while she tried to play with his hair.

"So hun, you get to play at work for eight hours every other day, should i start playing here?"

She had a weird look on her face that made her look suspicious.

"Some of those boys look pretty cute, it's an 18+ only game right?"

"Jesus mom ew, don't try to be one of those women with boy toys please."

Although he was joking with her he really did like the idea of playing with her.

The thought of playing with her as another member of the team was great but he would have to teach her a lot.
