Chapter 244: Palkus’ Journey! Pause
"Leader, Leader!" Out of nowhere, in the largest bedroom of the estate, the hoe who was stationed close to the door entered without warning on the vampire, who was indulging in the luxuries of wine and harems.
"WHAT?!" Looking at the hoe who interrupted his sweet time with his beauties, the leader wasn't so pleased.
"S- some, some bastards came to the estate, and they- and they."
"Shut the fuck up." With a glare of his, the woman who was trying to explain what happened as hard as she could, closed her mouth in a split second;, the authority this leader had over her was quite obvious, as she couldn't even make a single move.
"Now speak, make it short." He ordered.
"Some bastards came to the estate and killed Marciel." She said, trembling in fear.
"Huh? WHO DARES?!!" Hearing that someone intruded his own estate and killed one of his subordinates, the leader was beyond mad, and he had every right to.
"ALL OF YOU BASTARDS! FIND AND KILL THE INTRUDERS!" The leader shouted with all his might. His voice traversed the whole estate and out of nowhere, quakes could be heard as Palkus and Azeroth, who were sitting and waiting on the stairs while checking the condition of the vampire, heard all of this and stayed nonchalant.
*Ugh*
"Damn, he's not dead? Vampires sure have high beating tolerance." Palkus nodded in surprise.
"Well, that's obvious, though this guy is barely B-rank, he can take quite the beating." Azeroth nodded.
"No, it's just that you didn't beat him quite hard." Palkus shook his head.
"You might be right." Azeroth nodded.
"YOU BASTARDS! GET AWAY FROM MARCIEL!" And the mobs they've been waiting for had arrived.
Azeroth looked up at those coming from upstairs and Palkus looked to his sides.
"Let's meet in the boss room, shall we?" Azeroth said.
"How long would that take, 30 seconds, 1 minute?" Palkus asked.
"First to arrive wins." Azeroth replied, disappearing from his place as the vampires who were above disappeared with him, and Marciel, who was burried beneath the door was nowhere to be seen.
"Bastard." Palkus shook his head with a smile.
"Let's take care of these guys, shall we?" Palkus, who was beyond confident in himself because an SSS-rank like Azeroth had no way of beating him.
--------
"What's taking these guys so long?" The leader of the vampires was lazily stretched on his bed with a cup of wine while hugging a beauty with his right and another with his left while two others were resting his legs.
"Tsk, let me spread my senses." Not being able to hear the voices of his subordinates any more with his sharp ears, the vampire was starting to get annoyed and somewhat fearful. Thus, he tried to spread his senses, but before he could do so.
"Seems like you managed to beat me." Azeroth's voice was heard just close to the door.
"Who's there?!" The vampire, hearing an unfamiliar voice, got out of his bed in a hurry, throwing the sleeping beauties out of the way.
"That was obvious. It's dumb of you to think you can beat me." Palkus, who was starting to show another side of him to Azeroth, replied, not minding the shouts of the vampire leader who was getting closer.
*BOOOM*
Unfortunately for the leader, he was met with the same fate Marciel was hit by.
"He's dead?" Azeroth opened his eyes in surprise.
"This is how you should hit." Palkus, who was also shocked that the leader died like an ant so fast, hid his surprise and acted like he knew what he was doing.
"Oh my, those are quite the beauties over there." Azeroth's eyes quickly wondered to the 4 beauties who were shivering in fear and his eyes lit up, this time with other intentions.
"Beauties, beauties… where's the wine?" Azeroth walked closer and asked.
"Uhhh, Please leave us alone, we'll do anything. We were forced here, please." One after the other, the elf, witch, human, and vampire who were wearing skimpy clothes started crying.
"Hey, hey, I'm a gentleman; I don't kill beauties, now tell me." Azeroth, who had just taken care of not one, not two, but dozens of the so-called beauties, lied with a straight face.
The 4 beauties looked at each other and pointed at a hidden door.
"Ah, I see." Azeroth smiled and walked towards the hidden door. With a bit of instinct and experience, he quickly located the key to open it and, after pushing the door.
"Hehehe, Huehuehue." Looking at the room full of gold, wine, and other treasures, Azeroth was no longer worried about wine.
"Perfect, absolutely PERFECT!" Azeroth shouted to the sky.
"I will be out." Palkus, seeing as he had nothing else to do, looked at the dead vampire one last time and got out to look for a room.
He had been quite unserious the past few days, but now that they actually have done something like this, he had to start thinking of the consequences.
"The vampire countess…" He thought.
"Oh well, I will deal with it then." Turns out, he had no plans of being serious at all.
But his worries were truly not unfounded. The vampire countess quickly received news of the death of the leader, barely hours after the duo had done their deed.
While Azeroth was indulging, and Palkus once again slumbering. The vampire countess, who was in her office checking out some papers with moonlight shining on her beautiful figure, had her eyes shine crimson for a split second.
"Someone dares to kill my slave?" She said.
"Dariel, look for who did it. I want you to give me all the information related to them, where they came from, who they are, what they like, and what they wear. EVERYTHING!" She shouted.
Her anger was obvious but her trusty subordinate, Dariel, who was more than used to her antics after countless years of serving under her, knew exactly what to do.
