Chapter 1321 Spatial Distortion

Chapter 1321  Spatial Distortion

Roooar-!

Hearing a loud roar echoing out from the spatial passage just as it collapsed in front of them following the destruction of the teleportation formation, Mui and the demon beasts all felt a shiver run down their spine. Understanding that the roar just now should have come from the terrifying demon beast that had been travelling through the spatial passage.

If they didn't destroy the teleportation formation and cut off the spatial passage in time, they might really have ended up being forced to find a way to deal with the terrifying demon beast…

"Good thing we reacted fast and destroyed the formation before it could get through. Although, I do wonder where it ended up following the collapse of the spatial passage. Hopefully, its somewhere far away from here…" Muttering this to herself with a look of relief on her face as she stared at the now destroyed teleportation formation, Mui turned around to examine her new surroundings.

Although there were still ruins around, the ruins were far from the same scale as the ancient city. Instead, only covering a small area that could be traversed in a few minutes by Mui and the demon beasts.

However, the most exciting thing about the new location was not the size of the ruins, but instead the small harmless demon beasts that could be seen wandering around the edge of the ruins.

Among them, the strongest had only reached the Core Formation Realm, while most of them were between the Middle and Later Stages of the Foundation Establishment… And more importantly than that, none of them showed any signs of fear. Meaning that the location they had ended up in shouldn't be somewhere dangerous with powerful demon beasts around.

Instead, it was likely that their current location was somewhere at the edge of the mystic realm where the demon beasts were the weakest, a safe location that Mui felt more than confident in surviving in on her own!

Rooar?

Roar…

Hearing a few of the demon beasts behind her suddenly calling out to her, Mui turned around and was shocked to discover that they had obediently gathered together and were now looking up at her filled with respect.

I really did end up taming them…¨

Shaking her head as she thought about this while looking over the demon beasts, Mui soon turned to leave the ruins. "Everyone! Let's go!" Calling out to the demon beasts, as they all left together to explore their new surroundings.

"Hm?"

At the same time Mui passed through the teleportation formation inside the ancient city ruins, Xuan Hao who had been travelling for over a week in her direction suddenly froze on the spot as a frown appeared on his face. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Why did the location of her mark suddenly shift by so much? Did she perhaps enter another teleportation formation?" Muttering this to himself as he clearly sensed the mark left on Mui moving around the mystic realm at a terrifying speed following what he could only guess to be some kind of spatial channel, Xuan Hao ignored the fact that she passed through directly above him at one point in time.

Not because he didn't want to reach out and try to grab her, but because the speed she moved at was simply too fast for him to even react. Not to mention, the spatial laws involved in the spatial passage she used was far above his current understanding of the Dao of Space.

The only thing he could do was continue following her as she seemed to move wildly around the mystic realm before finally coming to a stop somewhere at the edge of the mystic realm.

Although not the exact location where they had entered the mystic realm, it was at least somewhere outside the dangerous section of the mystic realm.

Rumblle~

"Hm? Where did those violent spatial distortions come from- Ah, the spatial passage is collapsing. Perhaps it only had energy for Mui to move through it once before collapsing." Suddenly feeling the space a few hundred meters above where he was floating starting to distort violently all of a sudden, Xuan Hao briefly narrowed his eyes before figuring out what was happening.

Though the spatial passage his disciple passed through was created by someone with a far better understanding of the Dao of Space compared to him, it looked like the spatial passage couldn't be sustained without any energy or powerful cultivator to keep up.

Of course, this was a great opportunity for Xuan Hao, as it allowed him to take a peek at the inner workings of the spatial passage while it was collapsing. Although it wouldn't last long, it would still be helpful comprehending the Dao of Space. Especially so when he was only a single step away from reaching the Large Success Realm in the Dao of Space.

Just a little glimpse of a higher realm of comprehension might allow him to break through this barrier and-

"Huh? What is that-"

Roooar!?

However, before he had a chance to take this rare opportunity to comprehend the Dao of Space, a large body suddenly came tumbling out through the spatial passage together with several large ancient looking golems.

All heading directly towards him, who just happened to be standing a few hundred meters below the spatial distortion caused by the collapse of the spatial passage-

Whoosh-!

Even then, given his current strength far surpassing the golems and large demon beast that came out of the spatial distortion, Xuan Hao easily side stepped them before getting hit, as he turned his attention back towards the spatial distortion caused by the collapsing spatial passage.

"Gone…"

However, when he looked back up in the direction of the spatial distortion, it had already disappeared. Indicating that the spatial passage had fully collapsed in the short time it had taken him to avoid the falling demon beast and golems.

"…"

Narrowing both his eyes dangerously after having lost this precious opportunity to comprehend the Dao of Space, Xuan Hao slowly turned to look down towards the large demon beasts and golems that had landed on the ground below.
