Chapter 100 – Creepy Peak

Aiko was once again creeped out. She didn't like her fidgeting at all!

"Let's move to the pagoda." The Peak Elder beckoned.

This was the only thing Aiko agreed with her, as she could still faintly hear something dripping in her room. It felt like a horror house.

Aiko sat down under the small pagoda and stared at the Peak Elder.

"You are not going to sit?" Aiko asked with a frowning face.

"Well... things happened, so I will just stand." The Peak Elder nodded awkwardly. She was a veteran when it came to sex toys, but she passed out with that dragon dildo inside her and now she was too stretched out to sit normally.

"Creepy." Aiko finally voiced her opinion out loud.

"It's not my fault it was lodged- What are you trying to make me say?!" The Peak Elder cried out.

'Why do males look older, but most foxes look teen?' Aiko tilted her head, she didn't understand.

The Peak Elder coughed. "Let's talk about the joining thing."

"I will pass." An immediate response from Aiko.

"Let me finish!" The Peak Elder felt like she was wronged. "You won't be subjected to any sexual education or techniques. You will be trained in the art of information collection and presence suppression."

"But I'm interested in the Sexual Techniques." Aiko suddenly said. "Not training, just techniques." She nodded a few times. 'I need a way to get revenge on Mei for 'that'.'

Aiko treated their first kiss like it was something forbidden and couldn't be said out loud. Mei would probably laugh out loud since she didn't see Aiko in an intimate way. She saw Aiko as another family member that she had to take care of.

"What?" The Peak Elder was speechless. "Weren't you disgusted when you saw that room?" She asked just in case those bastards reported incorrectly.

"No, that's true." Aiko didn't deny that and the Peak Elder was surprised. "I don't understand how they can fuck someone so ugly."

The Peak Elder was stunned, but then it clicked for her. 'Stop comparing Jade Fox to others! It's obvious that you wouldn't find anyone as pretty as she is!' The Peak Elder complained in her mind.

The Peak Elder coughed. "So you want to learn Sexual Techniques, but not train them."

"Eh, I wouldn't say that, I will do plenty of training." Aiko had a mean smile on her lips.

'What did you do to her, Jade Fox?!' The Peak Elder cried out in her mind.

"What about Assassination Techniques?" The Peak Elder asked again.

"Eh, why not? I can at least try, but I'm more interested in sneaking around." Aiko said flatly kicking her legs.

"Will you be joining any other Peaks in the future?" The Peak Elder asked her.

"Well, I'm already part of the Inscription Peak. I'm interested in Pills and meat, so maybe the Alchemy Peak and Hunting Peak?" Aiko tilted her head. "I don't know yet." She shrugged.

The Peak Elder's lips twitched. "That would be troublesome for us."

"That sounds like your issue." Aiko snorted at her.

The Peak Elder rolled her eyes. "You can leak our techniques to other Peaks."

"I don't understand why I should share my hard work." Aiko shook her head. It seemed like everyone in here had the 'dumb' trait attached to them. Will she be alright?

The Peak Elder sighed. "You will have to prove yourself over time to get more techniques, there won't be any other benefits or favouritism."

"That is fine by me." Aiko kicked her leg yet again as she was bored of this pointless conversation.

"The Mirage Fox will guide you around." The Peak Elder said and the assassin which was unable to be found by Aiko appeared nearby.

"That guy huh..." Aiko stared at him. "I still don't understand how he does that..." She shook her head.

"He has great Affinity with Illusions." The Peak Elder explained gently.

"I see..." Aiko nodded. "Can I also learn that?" She asked out of curiosity.

"If you have Illusion Affinity, sure." The Peak Elder smiled.

Aiko pouted.

"Please follow me." The Mirage Fox spoke gently.

"Another voice seduction, huh." Aiko noticed it immediately now that she experienced it again. "Quite weak, huh, so you are only good with Illusions..." Aiko murmured.

The Mirage Fox's lips twitched, he was a prodigy when it came to seduction and illusions, but now one of his traits was denied by this little one. He felt irritated.

"It's better to walk slowly or you might trigger some traps." He used his full-blown seduction technique, but Aiko completely ignored him.

He was upset, but he was only tasked with guiding, maybe if he got to be her sparring partner he would be able to take advantage of her for this loss of face.

Aiko kept looking around, this place really liked small gardens and ponds. Yet you couldn't hear any birds or fish making their usual noises.

'It's too quiet.' Aiko was unaware that this place was specially made to train and rate someone's mental fortitude. The more silent one place was, the harder it was for a person to spend their time there.

Their mental fortitude would be slowly chipped away until they lost their mind.

He guided her to her place. It looked like barracks with many bunk beds, but those bunk beds looked like nests instead of beds, so bunk nests?

There was nobody inside currently.

Next up was the bathing area.

"Why are they not separate?" Aiko asked.

"On a mission, you won't be able to care about such things, so these things are preparation for that." The Mirage Fox answered but left out one important detail. 'This place is also to test your skills, mainly how well you can defend yourself during assaults.' He smirked, he would save this ignorant brat later and then put her inside his harem, only to ignore her completely.

"Eh, I won't use it since it stinks too bad." Aiko shrugged and walked with a spring in her legs.

The Mirage Fox's dreams were shattered and it took him a while to recover.

He followed Aiko who was walking away from him.

"This way." The Mirage Fox said and caught up to the little brat.

"Why are you so slow." Aiko shook her head and he almost coughed up blood.

"Here is the balance training ground." He pointed at the numerous bamboo pillars and people fighting on them.

"Ooooo" Aiko admired it. "So fighting with bad footing." Aiko nodded in acknowledgement.

"That is correct. When other Elders are around, they also make those pillars move up and down, making it even more difficult. Most injuries come from here and then from the obstacle course." The Mirage Fox was proud, as he could easily bypass this place.

"Obstacle course?" Aiko was curious and she didn't notice, but her voice softened greatly and tickled nearby ears.

The people on the pillars collapsed because their bodies shivered due to Aiko's soft voice.

"..." Aiko pointed at them and stared at the dazed Mirage Fox. "You there?"

"Ah, yes." He was imagining things that he shouldn't imagine at this point, but his plans shifted a little. He just might dote on this little Enchantress.

The Enchantress was a nickname given to those who could enchant someone just from their movement or voice.

He guided her towards the main eating hall.

"It smells bad, let's skip this one." Aiko said this while scrunching her nose.

The Mirage Fox's lips twitched again. He enjoyed the food in here, so it was quite tactless for her to say that.

But the others inside were too exhausted to retort, so they just rolled their eyes and continued eating.

He showed her a few more rooms, but nothing that Aiko had not seen already, so he pardoned himself and went to his own barracks. For some reason, the newbies had separate barracks, but the older ones shared them.

'I don't get it, newbies have shared baths but separate sleeping quarters?' Aiko just couldn't point out why they would do that. 'Bunch of perverts.' She spat in her mind.

Aiko went into the barracks and noticed they were almost full.

'What is occupied and what isn't...' Aiko browsed, not many paid attention to her, but those who did had smirks on their faces, fortunately for them, they were too exhausted to ridicule Aiko as they went through another day of hellish training, and finally tomorrow they would get their 'rewards' so they wanted to rest as much as possible to 'receive' them properly.

Aiko didn't like those nests so she left the barracks.

"What's wrong?" One veteran assassin asked.

"I won't be able to sleep there, so I will look around and play..." Aiko answered passively. She wasn't interested in company.

"There is a curfew during the night." That veteran assassin smiled. "Do you know what happened to those who disobey it?" The veteran assassin smirked, assessing her body. She might be small, but her picturesque face made up for it and he would definitely enjoy shoving... ahem.

He placed a hand around Aiko who was distractedly looking around, but before he could do anything to her he felt sharp pain.

"Agh!" The veteran assassin clutched his bloodied hand.

Aiko was unable to sever that hand, but that didn't mean that the injury was light! That guy let his guard down, so Aiko had an easy time slicing through his flesh with her sharpened fingers and with her [Lacerate] she was even able to damage his bones!

"You bi-Gah!" Aiko kicked him lightly, but still aimed into a certain region, making him froth from the mouth.

At this point, most Foxes from the barracks went to peek at the newcomer getting molested and later fucked, only to find their esteemed older brother bleeding and frothing from his mouth.

Aiko clicked her tongue. "Weak bastard."

The female Foxes from the barracks almost fell over when they heard that, as he was one of the strongest from the younger generation. He was so good at his stealth kills that he earned the veteran assassin position much earlier than others!

"Hey." Aiko turned at them. Most of the Foxes yelped and ran away back into their nests and only the slower ones or those that were shoved forward stayed behind. "Are there any fun places? Something else than the obstacle course and the bamboo pillar thing?" Aiko asked them.

They didn't want to answer, they didn't dare to answer, but seeing Aiko's pressing stare, one of them who already tailed Aiko before, steeled herself.

"There is a marble dodging training room." That girl murmured.

The others cursed this brainless fool! It was obvious that this little one was looking for a proper sex partner!

They were not around when Aiko was taking those tests, so they were unaware that Aiko despised those things, but that didn't stop them from ridiculing her.

"Not a bad idea. Lead the way." Aiko smiled from ear to ear, unconsciously charming them.

"W-we don't dare." The others bowed and pleaded towards Aiko.

"Why not?" Aiko didn't even glance at them, because that girl who told her about the marble dodging room still didn't say anything.

"If you go outside after the curfew, you are subjected to harassment from Veterans and Elders." The girls answered truthfully.
