Chapter 127 – Mei’s Shame

'Fuck! This fucking- Fuuuuck!'

Aiko was blankly listening to the Seed in her body. It had been cursing nonsensically for the past half a day and Aiko could no longer bear it.

She couldn't even argue with it, since that shitty Seed ignored her!

'I was supposed to fucking bloom! Yet I'm still in this fucking situation!' The Seed continued cursing, as even her origin was slightly altered by some kind of force.

Aiko stared blankly at the numbers. They got more and more insane over time...

She sighed and tried to ignore the Seed, but unfortunately, she was not able to.

She was desperate, so she looked through her system.

Aiko didn't even care that she lost those 1,000 Skill Points, as long as she would be able to bear the fact that the Seed was still cursing in her mind.

Aiko didn't know how to make proper use of the Seed and she didn't care. She now cursed Mei for crashing into her, which caused this whole situation.

Aiko stared blankly at Mei in resentment and Mei blushed from shame. She could not meet Aiko's eyes as she felt guilty.

Aiko sighed, there was at least something good about this...

Aiko clicked her tongue, this shitty Seed was still somewhat useful and her mind was also much better because of this, but unfortunately, the next upgrade was impossible to get as it was locked. The System naturally didn't tell her how to get it, so Aiko could only silently curse at it.

She yawned. Now that her mind was a bit more peaceful, she went over to Mei as the haggard Blood Fox thrashed around during her sleep.

It happened more than a few times already, that Aiko was sent flying across the room by the Blood Fox...

Mei glanced at the sleeping little rascal and could only sigh, as the materials needed to purge that Seed were beyond her capacity. If it was a simple Seed she could just pluck it with Divine Sense, but the last time she probed that Seed she almost suffered a Soul injury. That made this whole situation much worse and she would have to prepare more things.

Aiko returned to her work for 10 weeks straight with the seed never shutting its non-existent mouth. Most Foxes could only vaguely remember the trio of beauties, but quite a few Harem Kings still remembered those vicious flags and would never forget the Vicious Cub.

Aiko had completed 37 out of 86 parts and after 10 weeks the Seed was finally silent.

Aiko breathed a sigh of relief as it was finally quiet. Her mind worked much quicker, and thanks to the [Greater Poison Resistance] she was able to move her arm with much more ease. She was recovering even with her arm still looking sickly green.

Mei was still worried about Aiko and her sudden recoveries. She cursed the convenience of the System on one hand and was thankful on the other.

She hated seeing Aiko in pain during her sleep. She constructed similar Arrays that she used on Grandmaster and she would always power it up when Aiko was sleeping so she could recover.

The Blood Fox was too useless in these situations and only stressed Mei with her gibberish.

The Blood Fox would be distressed whenever she saw Aiko in pain and would bother Mei incessantly. This angered Mei and so she was prompted to upgrade the Array further until not even a single scrunch was on Aiko's face.

Another 40 weeks passed. Aiko finished 77 parts out of 86, just a couple more and she would be able to assemble them together and make it into a proper Massage Chair.

Unfortunately for her, even to this day, Mei hadn't brought her the frame of the Massage Chair, so she could not piece them together...

Fortunately for her. It was another day for her to pick gifts for her Birthday. It's just that she didn't know what to pick...

Aiko was unsure what to pick. She naturally discarded the 3rd and 4th options as those were useless, but her mind lingered on the 2nd option.

'But 1,000 Levels...' Aiko salivated at that thought. At the same time, she was thinking about advancing her life stage so that she could move better in this body.

She postponed the decision for a bit to think it through.

When she advanced from Cub to Juvenile, she reduced the burden on [Pseudo-Human Body(Prototype)] from 10 to 5, which meant that the possible next progress would be from 5 to 2.5. This would allow her to enhance her strength, the problem was that an adult body would be nice, but she didn't necessarily need that strength.

The System Meat was much more tempting as it would allow her to Evolve almost two times!

Aiko frowned and clicked the first option.

Aiko sighed. There went her Adult body, but she got 2 Evolutions worth of Meat.

She would still try to minimize the eating of her System Meat as much as possible. A good goalpost would be not to eat them until around Level 200. At that point, it would slow down too much and Aiko would not be able to Level Up quickly without the meaty snack.

She didn't progress much on her Levels during her Inscribing, but it was still good enough. As for the Beast Core Purity, that advanced nicely and she could 'laze' around and let the Beast Core be purified over time by Mei's cooking.

'The speed is too slow, I will wait till 150 and then eat the System Meat!' Aiko thought while mulling over it.

"Mei..." Aiko stared at Mei.

"Y-yes?" Mei stuttered like she was feeling guilty of something.

"There are only a few weeks remaining before I finish the parts and assemble them." Aiko stared at her with a gaze that said 'You promised me that chair.'.

Mei was hit hard by that gaze. "I-it will be done soon!" She tried to push away Aiko like always.

"Hmmm..." Aiko narrowed her eyes. This whole situation was suspicious. "Should I find some Forging Cultivator-"

"No!" Mei interrupted Aiko and coughed awkwardly. "There is no need to inconvenience yourself with those filthy metal clankers." Mei said dismissively, but deep inside she hoped that Aiko would just forget about them.

Aiko snorted. "Then where is it? A year later and I can't see even the outline of the chair where I would put all these parts into!" Aiko glared at Mei.

"It will be done in a few weeks!" Mei cried out, trying to hold Aiko back so she would not find out what had been happening behind the scenes...

1st visit:

"Ohohoho~ Jade Fox, it's nice to see you here." A brawny Fox laughed heartily at the picturesque beauty.

"Forging Novice." Mei nodded at him.

"What can I do for you?" He smiled amicably.

"I need to forge these parts and this chair." Mei gave him the blueprints for him to look over and decide if he wanted to take this job.

He stroked his beard. "Those small parts are impossible." He could not say his skills were lacking, as the only thing he had been doing his whole life was forging.

"What about the rest?" Mei didn't voice her opinion on his ego and listened quietly.

"The larger parts should be fine, the chair too..." He narrowed his eyes and smiled. 'So even the Jade Fox needs 'those' chairs.' He was happy that she came to him with this request.

"Good, we can discuss the materials and-

2nd visit:

"These parts look wrong, you will have to remake them." Mei took most of the large parts and a couple of the medium-sized, while leaving the rest to be remade.

She then looked at the outline of the chair and choked up.

"What the hell is that?!" She pointed at the obviously shaped protruding thing in the middle of the chair where one was supposed to sit.

"That is a chair." He feigned ignorance.

"Remake it!" Mei cried out with a light blush.

"As you wish." He smiled. There was not a single hint of displeasure... 'So Jade Fox is used to bigger ones, this was my bad...' He sighed inside his mind.

Mei was surprised at his straightforward attitude and she felt slightly better. That was of course under the assumption that she would never find out his innermost thoughts...

3rd visit:

"Nice..." Mei nodded. "Most of the parts are good enough, there are only 3 more to be remade." She nodded happily.

She then turned towards the chair and staggered. "W-what?!" She stared at the thicker, questionable object in the middle of the seating area.

'Not quite the reaction I expected.' The brawny Fox frowned, but then it 'dawned' on him. 'Fuck! I forgot that there are people like the Peak Elder of the Intel Gathering Peak!' He flicked his own forehead.

"My apologies, Jade Fox. I have misunderstood your order and will remake it with no additional cost attached!" He bowed deeply towards the Jade Fox. 'I will keep your secret well, since most Foxes would be intimidated by your requirements.' He thought in his mind.

Just as she was about to scold him, he so sincerely apologized that she couldn't really scold him harshly. "Remake it well, if it doesn't suit my needs it will end up in your ass!" Mei threatened Aiko's style.

"I will do my best!" He bowed even deeper.

Mei nodded and left, it seemed that her little servant had quite the reputation...

4th visit:

"That's all of them." Mei nodded. She had all the medium/large pieces for the most basic construction of the Massage Chair.

She then turned towards the chair and completely froze stiff.

In the middle of the chair sat a dragon-sized dildo with all the barbs and other protruding things. She was so shocked seeing it, that her mind blanked.

She stood there speechlessly.

'Hehe~, what do you think?!' He laughed in his mind. 'This is my greatest masterpiece! Designed and shaped by the most liked dragon there is!' He patted his back again and again waiting for the Jade Fox reaction.

Mei finally snapped out of it. "I-i-i-"

"It's alright." He patted her shoulder in understanding and a slight pity. "I'm discreet and keep secrets well." He gave her an encouraging thumbs up.

"I just wanted a normal chair!" Mei cried out with a red face and stormed outside, leaving the brawny Fox speechless in his place.

"... Fuck!" He cursed loudly, this was the most profitable business he had had in several years. His passion got the best of him and he misunderstood his client. This was the first time it happened! He couldn't believe it!

"I must quickly remake it!" He sweated buckets when he remembered her last words. 'it will end up in your ass!'

He gulped countless times, wiping his sweat. He would need to finish this chair ASAP, which was simple since he didn't need to design the middle part...

'I better preserve the middle part for future projects.' He was still proud of that part...

Mei could never explain what happened to Aiko and vowed that she would do her best to keep Aiko unaware of it, so that Aiko will never find out!
