[Vol.3] Quest 263.5- Filvis’ Condition

The condition Filvis is in has been very detailed from her blood, skin, teeth, eyes, and their dilation to how she breathes. She bore with it to see if there was any way to reverse her condition.

“…”

“So… is it possible?” Filvis asked Miach.

“Hmm… it’s hard to say the problem is your base has fundamentally changed. I went over it all several times and…”

“Your anatomy is more like a monster than humans and vice versa a true clusterfuck of a species,” Cirrus said.

“I’m surprised you know medicine and anatomy, Cirrus?” said Lefiya.

“Of course, there were plenty of cadavers in Yamato from several species as well as Chyong, so medicine was vastly improved and specialized.”

‘They rather quickly made Viagra-like potions. Oof then there were the other nasty drugs made… Ugh… the paperwork.’ Cirrus thought when the side effects of introducing specialized medicine to Yamato.

“Is that where the Stomach Ulcer Potion came from?” asked Naaza.

“Yeah, they're really refining their craft, of course, this one here.” Cirrus pats Circe’s head. “Is still far ahead of them.”

“I am and Filvis finding a way to change you back is a long shot that only time will shorten,” Circe said.

“Is there really no other way?” Filvis said.

“Well…” Cirrus said, looking around.

“Cirrus, no! we have been over this and that is ethically wrong! Artemis would shoot you for suggesting it!”

“Come on! They forced her to be a Creature! Besides, it's far shorter than finding a way for her to regain her body.”

“U-um, what is this plan?” Filvis asked a bit hesitantly.

“He wishes to make an elven clone of your body through medicine and then transfer your mind to it,” Circe said.

“W-what!?” they all shouted.

“Cirrus! That is a crime against the gods!!” Miach said.

“I-it really is a crime against nature!” Lefiya shouted.

“Why did you even suggest this!?”

“Well, Miach, my initial plan was to clone organs for those in need,” Cirrus said, defending himself.

“Why not develop medicine so you won’t need to replace an organ!?” Lefiya shouted.

“Because what if you come across a person who isn’t able to take the potion, or the potion is too ineffective!! Or, or! A shark or something bit off their arm or leg, huh!?”

“I truly hope you have not started this blasphemous project!” Miach said, offended.

“Do not worry, he didn’t,” Circe said. “I fully drilled the unethical nature of it.”

“It wasn’t because of that Circe… I didn’t do it because I do not know where to begin and also I was busy with other stuff like making laws banning dick-enhancing potions.”

“Did you really?” Miach said.

“Oh yeah, it got so bad a guy’s dick just exploded from all the—"

“Can we return to the point of objection?” Naaza said, not wishing to hear more. “To suggest such a thing is insane, Cirrus.”

“Well, it’s better than waiting gods know how long to turn her back! This way is far faster and besides, this is giving her back something that was taken by her by an unknown existence! But hey Filvis, if you don’t want to do it and wait, I’m fine with that. I’m simply giving you another option besides waiting.”

“B-but still that’s… h-how would you even go about that!” asked Lefiya.

“We have her DNA or well portions of it that are elven so we will need to either A: get some blood samples from her parents or B: use blood samples from another elf but then the new body will be drastically different from before and after becoming a Creature.”

“… For someone who said they didn’t know where to start, you sure know a lot.” Miach glared at Cirrus.

“… So. anyway, what you wanna do!” Cirrus ignored what Miach said.

“It is highly unethical, I must emphasis!” said Circe.

“Well, it’s her choice.”

They all look at Filvis.

“… U-um… is it… really possible? The… cloning?”

“Uhh, more or less, it will take time, but it will be considerably less than turning it back. I would need to get help from another god.”

“And who do you have in mind?” asked Miach. “I doubt any god is willing to help with this.”

“… Freya.”

“W-why her!?” he shouted.

“We need a god of death to help with the transference of the soul, and she is also a god of magic.”

“… You are not wrong.” He said begrudgingly.

“But couldn’t any god do it?” Naaza said. “Don’t gods purify souls in heaven?”

“Some do, but it would be wiser to get one who specializes in souls in general, so we need a god of death and Freya is the best choice,” Circe said. “But why would she help?”

“I have some ways. Besides, are you really going for that option? There is nothing wrong with waiting for those Magic Tools I made. They will last for a very long time.”

“… I just don’t want to stay this way. I don't feel right, this skin... it gnaws and torments me.” Filvis looked at her and she was disgusted. “I want to be able to be happy and comfortable in my own body, a body that wasn't violated by another's influence."

“Well… she made her choice.” Cirrus looked at Miach.

Haaa… this doesn’t leave this place, got it? And this is a one-time thing, no more and no less.”

They all nod their head.

“Could I talk with Cirrus for a bit?” Filvis asked.

“Sure,” Lefiya said, a bit confused as they all left.

“So what do you wanna talk about?”

“You said if blood is taken from another source other than my parents, my new body will be different, right?”

“That’s right, the DNA will be different.”

“You said that word, but I don’t know what it means?”

“It is basically the name for what builds and makes your body, from how you grow to what your eye and hair color is. The building blocks of life where every organic organism has even animals and fruits.”

“So would it be possible if…”

Her words surprised Cirrus; he didn’t think she would do this.

“Hoh… That is…”

“So?”

“… I would need to go over it methodically and then do it several more times, but… it’s possible. I will have your god work on this as well. If he can make your clothes to hide your species, then he can be of great help.”

‘Plus, if I remember right, he was reborn or something twice? So he can be of great help.’

“I-I can see my lord!”

“Yup, but it will take a while to get everything moving, so rest up.”

“Thank you… I will repay this favor.”
