“I haven’t bathed in days. I want to bathe.” Luo Ruying nodded shyly and asked in an expectant tone, “Where is it?”

“Roughly a kilometer northwest of the back of the mountain, there’s a hot spring at the top of a cliff,” Ning Yechen said with a smile while carrying Luo Hongye.

“H-hot spring?” The moment Luo Ruying heard about the hot spring, her eyes lit up in joy.

She would be happy enough to take a hot bath. After all, the conditions here could not compare to those in the Heavenly Realm.

She did not expect a hot spring to be available on the mountain!

Ning Yechen nodded with certainty.

He had specially prepared the hot spring.

He chose to live in seclusion to enjoy life, so all the necessary facilities were in place.

As the former Demon Lord, he certainly could not live in squalor.

“Yeye, come on. Let’s go bathe.” Luo Ruying excitedly took Luo Hongye from Ning Yechen.

“Shall we bathe together?” Ning Yechen asked with a serious look on his face.

With her face blushing, Luo Ruying carried Luo Hongye, walked out of the house, and disappeared in a flash.

He shook his head in disappointment. He hesitated briefly about whether he should give chase.

If he followed her and peeped, he wondered if he would be considered a pervert.

Come to think of it, they were husband and wife, so he should not be considered a pervert. At least this was how he convinced himself.

Inside the forest, Luo Ruying ran the entire way with Luo Hongye in her arms.

Lying in Luo Ruying’s arms, Luo Hongye looked up and asked Luo Ruying quizzically, “Mommy, why can’t Daddy bathe with us? He must feel sad about being left home alone.”

Hearing Luo Hongye’s question, Luo Ruying was speechless. For a moment, she did not know what to say.

Even though she had accepted Ning Yechen as her husband, it did not mean that she was ready to bathe with him.

At the thought of sitting in the hot springs naked with Ning Yechen, Luo Ruying shook her head, her face crimson.

A gorgeous body with black hair hanging behind her appeared under the bright moonlight, standing in the hot spring steam vaguely visible.

Someone hiding in the trees fell into a daze.

After careful thought, Ning Yechen had decided to follow secretly.

But make no mistake, he was not here to peep.

He was here to protect Luo Ruying and Luo Hongye in secret!

If anything happened, he could secretly help. At least this was how he convinced himself.

When Luo Ruying stepped into the hot spring, she suddenly turned her head and looked behind cautiously.

She was unsure if it was her imagination, but she kept feeling someone was looking at her.

She was worried that he might have suffered other injuries and was hiding it from her.
