Deviant: No Longer Human

Chapter 525: Asking Nudes from Cotton Ball?

Fortunately, modern technology had made lane assist advanced enough to practically function as autopilot, but due to regulatory hurdles, they had to call it by different names.

As Wang Xueying's face burned hot with embarrassment, her eyes fell on Wang Xiao's still-active phone screen, where texts from that vixen 'Little Cotton Ball' continued to pour in.

A surge of jealousy hit her like a tidal wave. Without a second thought, she grabbed his phone and swiftly typed something in response before putting it back down, her heart thudding with a mix of satisfaction and happiness.

Just as she felt another wave of pleasure ripple through her, a small smile tugged at her lips.

______

Twin Towers, Imperial Capital

The Twin Towers, a pair of futuristic, wine-glass-shaped buildings intertwined in a way that made them an engineering marvel, stood tall over the Imperial Capital.

Inside one of the upper floors was an exclusive tea house, where tea was served in the most traditional manner—private rooms, delicate porcelain, and serene ambiance. It was a high-class meeting spot, more for networking than for truly savoring tea.

In one of these private rooms, five young women sat in a circle around a low table, discussing something that seemed important.

Or at least, they should have been discussing something important. Instead, one of the girls, Wenxi, was glued to her phone, completely disconnected from the conversation.

The other girls were used to Wenxi's inattentive behavior, but today was different—she was far too engrossed.

Sitting next to her, Yue furrowed her brow and couldn't resist pinching Wenxi's leg, trying to get her attention. "Pay attention, will you?"

"!" Wenxi jerked in surprise, rolling her eyes and shooting Yue a glare before quickly returning to her phone, ignoring her completely.

But in truth, Wenxi wasn't ignoring her out of stubbornness—she was in a state of panic.

After fleeing from Wang Xiao yesterday, she feared he was angry, especially since he hadn't replied to any of her texts since then.

Desperately, she had been spamming his inbox, hoping for any sort of response.

Yue massaged her temples, feeling a headache brewing from her sister's behaviour.

But just as she was about to reprimand her again, Wenxi suddenly froze, her eyes glued to the screen. Her face flushed bright red in an instant.

"I-I'll be back..." Wenxi stammered, standing up hastily, her hands shaking as she clutched her phone.

She needed to hide—immediately.

"Where are you going?" Yue asked, raising an eyebrow, curious about her strange behavior.

"The washroom," Wenxi blurted, pointing to the door before quickly making her exit.

Yue watched her dash off, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. 'Something's definitely wrong.'

Wenxi, practically tripping over herself, rushed toward the restroom, her heart racing.

She slammed the door behind her and quickly unlocked her phone to reread the message that had just made her face turn beet red.

_______

"Hah! We'd get fined if you keep doing these things while driving..." Wang Xueying, face flushed and heart racing, hastily pushed Wang Xiao away, adjusting her clothes.

She shot him an annoyed look, half-irritated, half-embarrassed.

For a second, she had genuinely believed he had turned righteous, but now she realized—he was just pretending to be a harmless pig, only to devour the tiger later!

Wang Xiao chuckled, amused by her reaction and about to make a sly remark when his phone caught his attention. "What the...?"

He picked it up, and his eyes widened in horror. There was a new text on the screen, one he hadn't sent at all:

[Send nudes]

Just reading it made his head spin.

Wang Xueying sat nearby, watching his reaction with a satisfied smile.

'Serves him right.' In her mind, it was a game—this 'Little Cotton Ball' was just a gold digger, someone who wouldn't stick around without some financial incentive.

And if Wang Xiao, the gullible fool, directly asked for nudes, she was sure he'd get blocked faster than a creditor during New Year's.

But little did she know, Wang Xiao's expression had turned as if he'd just swallowed a bug.

He felt the blood drain from his face, his fingers frozen as the reality of the situation sank in.

He wanted to delete it.

Oh, how desperately he wanted to delete it, but it was too late—the other party had already seen it.

Just imagining how his daughter would interpret that message sent a cold chill down his spine.

How do you even explain something like this?!

Wang Xiao groaned internally. His mind raced, but no thought could make this situation any better.

All he could imagine was his daughter's response—distraught, bewildered, and worse... confused.

Wang Xueying, noticing his stricken expression, raised an eyebrow. "What's with your face? You look like you've just seen a ghost."

Wang Xiao didn't respond immediately, his eyes narrowing as he turned to her. "You sent this?" His voice was low, controlled, but there was a clear edge of irritation.

Wang Xueying gave him a cheeky smile, not bothering to reply, her expression practically screaming 'What do you think?'

Just as Wang Xiao was about to teach her a lesson, his phone buzzed again. He glanced at the screen, expecting outrage or confusion—but what he saw made his brain short-circuit.

"??!"

His eyes widened in disbelief.

'She actually sent pictures.' And not just any pictures—they weren't completely nude, but they were far, 'far' more revealing than anything he could've expected.

Wang Xiao quickly shut off his phone, his heart racing as a strained smile stretched across his face.

He didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

His little cotton ball had sent him... That.

'What kind of messed-up situation is this?!'

He had no idea that this would only be the beginning. The next morning, he would wake up to a "morning snap" from Wenxi, followed by a sweet text—all thanks to Wang Xueying's meddling.

Wang Xueying, standing there stunned, could hardly believe it herself. "She actually sent it?" she muttered in disbelief, blinking as if trying to process the unexpected outcome.

Had her plan... failed?

She had been banking on Wenxi being too embarrassed or blocking him outright.

But now, seeing the tension in Wang Xiao's strained smile, she wasn't sure whether to feel victorious or horrified.

Did she just cucked herself?
