Chapter 330

330 Nameless suffers heavy looses

...A week later....

There was a heavy downpour as a massive funeral service was going on on the grounds of the nameless faction. Silver and every other person was dressed in black as three coffins could be seen with three portraits.

At the center was Damian Briggs, by the left was Mr. Blade and by the right was Hazard of the culture!

“Don’t cry... Daddy is in a better place now” Silver said to a boy with spiky black hair and a strange pair of fangs. If one were to look deeply into the eyes of this child one will be shocked when one realized he had a striking resemblance to Damian.

...Bam!...

Alex slammed his desk as he researched the recording of how these people died. It was so swift and sudden that no one could defend against it. It felt like something planned out very meticulously.

A week ago, a member of the Briggs family and his elder brother were beheaded by the enemy. Hazard, who was with him, was killed without being given the chance to escape.

Mr. Blade was killed but the Emperor somehow managed to survive. The current attacks and events are leading to revolutions and uprisings across the world. These people are showing weakness in the firm grip of the world power by killing the core members of the Nameless.

Thud!

.....

A figure standing ahead of him fell on his knees and lowered his head. Alex looked at his son and frowned. By the corner was Silver gazing at Little Alex with emotionless eyes. He didn’t blame the kid for the outcome, by the way, little Alex managed to clear out the location assigned to him. All of this happened simply because the others are not strong enough so they paid the price for their weakness.

“The Danite fleet has arrived. We were unable to clear out the rebellion before their arrival. Instead, things have gotten worse!” Alex’s eyes chilled with fierce killing intent but he did not act out.

Huff!

Alex exhaled and leaned back. His eyes slowly closed up and his breathing was heavily controlled. After a while, Alex opened his eyes and it was void of all emotions. This time he lost a brother and a friend. Damian and he had a history and a special bond. If for nothing else, the kid who killed Damian and Hazard must die at his hands.

“I will meet the Danite race. Silver, gather more information on the rebellion and come up with a plan to deal with it. This time we will handle things personally” Alex ordered after a while.

“I refuse. Now that the Danites have arrived you definitely cannot get involved in this matter. A king must act like a king in the presence of another king. I won’t let you jump around the world and hunt some traitors when the Emperor of the most powerful race watches you. Let me deal with things here” Silver said with a calm look on his face.

Hearing this Alex frowned and wanted to argue but he found no strength to. He wanted to kill the person who took the life of his elder brother but now is not the time to be sentimental and he knew that. His eyes revealed killing lights that were desperately being suppressed.

His fierce yet cold gaze shifted to Sharyn and Creed who were at one corner of the room.

“I lost my brother because I haven’t been making a move for five years now. Your actions killed my brother. Since it’s not intentional I can forgive you for this but after this, if you get in my way again, I will assume you have been doing all of this on purpose and act accordingly” Alex said to Sharyn with a flat tone.

Hearing his words, Sharyn could only turn pale due to fear. She has seen that frosty gaze before and this is the stare Alex indirectly gives an enemy before a fierce death battle. She was convinced that if she gets in his way again, he might actually take her life!

Bam!

Alex left the room with Silver and Little Alex chasing him tightly from behind.

“I will follow through with your plan but keep the person I am after alive!” Alex said coldly while walking through the corridors of the massive building.

“Hmph! Then give the Danites a good welcome. Show no weakness!” Silver said but then he and Alex felt a hand touch their shoulders.

It was Little Alex.

“What?” Alex asked in a calm tone while Silver raised an eyebrow in response.

“An emperor should show strength? But Alex is a God. He does not need to appear before the Danites. He should not be overly available so I think he should be the one to deal with this issue. The negotiations with the Danites are too delicate and need your touch and not that of my father’s. Do you two understand what I’m trying to say?” Little Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

Hearing this Alex and Silver were stunned and couldn’t help shooting each other shocked glances.

They seemed shocked by the fact that the suggestion made far too much sense than it should. Considering their options a deep smile bloomed on their face.

The kid was right!

Alex is a sovereign and a god! He shouldn’t be available to a visitor when his guardian and trusted helper exist. That is the perfect excuse for him to go under the radar and deal with the rebellion once and for all.

Alex looked at his son with a bright smile for a long while.

“I owe you one!” Alex said before vanishing!

Bang!

The glass wall shattered as his figure shot into the air, shooting so fast a bullet would seem slow. Silver and Little Alex could only look ahead with sad smiles on their faces. They could tell Alex was deeply hurt by everything that happened and that’s why they were trying their best to ignore his actions from now.

“You will join me and meet the Danite Emperor. Since our leader can’t show, his eldest son will represent him” Silver said.
