“Young Master, the Master has arrived to see you,” Jiaxia announced from outside the bath.
Wang Shan donned his bathrobe and settled into a chair, sipping a chilled beverage.

”Why are you lounging in the bath and enjoying cold drinks when the test is about to start?” Wang Tianxia chided with a smile. His only son, Wang Shan, could do no wrong in his eyes, so anger was never an option.
”Father, you’ve taken care of everything. All the Test Officers at the venue are your former students. I’m certain to clinch first place,” Wang Shan responded calmly.
Wang Tianxia burst into laughter. “I even financed the Cloud City test site. The Test Officers there are my old students. You’re lucky to have such an exceptional father.”
His mirth was short-lived, however, as his expression darkened. “But this year is different. Zhang Bao, with his remarkable talent, has emerged. I’m concerned he might target you.”
Wang Tianxia worried for his son, who lacked innate cultivation talent, especially since a life-or-death challenge awaited at the test. Should Zhang Bao issue a challenge, Wang Shan would have no choice but to face it, potentially leading to serious complications.
