She was outmatched by this human, who not only mastered the Nine Star Pearl but also had a profound connection with the Elf Clan.

The arrows densely covered the platform, forming the taunting words: “Red Devil SB.”

In the Dragon Void, spoken words would translate directly into thoughts, but written language was harder to decipher.

Still, Red Devil immediately sensed the mockery upon seeing the characters “Red Devil SB.”

He even lost his footing for a moment.

“You… you’re not going to kill me?”

Emerald was tinged with inexplicable melancholy, not expecting Choo Qin to ultimately refrain from striking her down.

“I’ve already told you, I don’t kill women.”

“Do you want to hook up with me?” Emerald asked earnestly, prompting a sudden coughing fit from Choo Qin.

“No, no, no… I simply don’t kill women. My tastes aren’t that extreme.”

Despite Emerald’s beauty, Choo Qin had no intentions of pursuing anything with the Dark Night Elves, having been forewarned by Chen Kai about their liberal ways.

“Just surrender. This fight is pointless,” Choo Qin quickly steered the conversation elsewhere, avoiding certain unmentionables.

In the end, Emerald stood still, her lips quivering as she grappled with her thoughts.

The sensible admit defeat, and though Emerald was no sage, surviving was a victory in itself.

After a moment of hesitation, she whispered the word “surrender.”

Choo Qin was ready to depart when he caught Alyssa’s gaze, filled with even greater sorrow, directed at him.

He called for her to get up, yet she skillfully dodged his attempt once more.

Fuming with resentment, Alyssa exhaled sharply twice and collapsed back into sleep, determined not to rise again no matter what.

This master, neither providing food nor water, wouldn’t even allow her to sleep!

It was simply too cruel!

The battle over, Choo Qin and the emerald made their way back to the entrance of the Arena. Remarkably, neither of them had sustained any injuries from their intense duel.

Having surrendered, the emerald would forfeit half of her resources from the White Space. Choo Qin, on the other hand, had acquired a collection of trinkets from the Elf Clan, including several articles of clothing.

Red Devil, having lost face, had departed early, leaving only a beaming Chen Kai waiting. He hadn’t anticipated Choo Qin’s formidable strength.

Chen Kai couldn’t quite figure out Choo Qin, but then, everyone has their secrets, and he wasn’t inclined to pry.

Currently, Choo Qin was merely a modest Sorcerer, several ranks below him.

But he was certain of one thing.

As long as Choo Qin survived.

In the future, he was bound to become the preeminent figure throughout the entire Dragon Void!

And when that time came, even Chen Kai might find himself looking up to him.
