Doomsday Descends: My Villainous Destiny

Chapter 48: Tyranny

Chapter 48: Tyranny

Qin Jun smiled slightly, “You must be Blood Bear? I’ve heard of you. An A-level talent, very impressive.”

Just one sentence from Qin Jun made Blood Bear feel extremely comfortable and even honored. Qin Jun had heard of his name!

Blood Bear grinned happily and said, “Thank you for the compliment, Young Master Qin. No matter what, I, Blood Bear, will fully cooperate with your visit to Donghua City!”

Qin Jun nodded. “I’m here for the Zombie King that’s about to complete its evolution. I want its energy crystal.”

Hearing this, Blood Bear’s heart sank. As expected, the Qin family’s target was the Zombie King. He had prepared a lot for this, even annexing other shelters for it.

Although he was unwilling, Blood Bear showed no change in expression. He knew very well that he couldn’t afford to provoke the Qin family now.

To his credit, Blood Bear could adapt quickly. He nodded and said, “Alright! Since you came personally, the Zombie King is yours! Donghua City will fully cooperate!”

Blood Bear’s polite words had a clear implication: he was giving up the Zombie King to Qin Jun, expecting some compensation in return.

Qin Jun looked at Blood Bear’s crafty eyes and felt amused. As Wang Hai had said, Blood Bear was not simple, full of cunning and intrigue. If someone underestimated him based on his appearance, they would suffer greatly.

But so what? To Qin Jun, Blood Bear was just an ant—a lucky ant who had awakened his talent. But an ant is still an ant.

Qin Jun smiled politely, “You might have misunderstood. I want the energy crystal, not the Zombie King.”

Blood Bear’s smile slowly disappeared. He understood Qin Jun’s meaning. Qin Jun wanted him to kill the Zombie King and then obediently present the energy crystal to the Qin family.

Was the Zombie King that easy to kill? Killing it would likely cost the lives of many of his Evolvers, and he himself might get injured. And Qin Jun would just sit back and wait, doing nothing? Why?

Blood Bear’s face darkened, “Young Master Qin, isn’t this going too far? We risk our lives to kill the Zombie King and present the energy crystal. What’s in it for me?”

Qin Jun chuckled, “If you obediently present the energy crystal, you can keep living. Isn’t that the greatest benefit?”

The choice was clear: hand over the Zombie King’s crystal or die. In Qin Jun’s eyes, Blood Bear, the strongest in Donghua City, was still just an ant, unworthy of making deals with the Qin family.

Qin Jun’s calm tone sent a chill through everyone. It was like a mountain pressing down on them, making it hard to breathe. This mountain was called tyranny.

Everyone had to accept all of the Qin family’s demands. Any disobedience would lead to destruction, even for someone like Blood Bear.

Even the murderous Blood Bear felt a surge of indignation and fear. This was too much! His eyes turned red as he stared at Qin Jun, “What if I don’t cooperate?”

“It’s simple.” Qin Jun smiled and pointed at Song Bin, who was next to Blood Bear.

The next moment, Song Bin screamed as an invisible force crushed him into a pulp. Song Bin, Blood Bear’s right-hand man and the second-in-command of the shelter, was a C-level Evolver.

He didn’t even have time to react before he turned into a mess of flesh, dead before Blood Bear’s eyes.

“That’s the consequence.” Qin Jun smiled, as if he had just crushed a trivial ant, chilling everyone to the bone.

Wang Hai looked at Qin Jun’s back with reverence. He finally understood why Qin Jun had said what he did earlier. He had thought Qin Jun would use the shadow incident as an excuse to force Blood Bear to give up the Zombie King.

But he realized he had underestimated Qin Jun’s domineering nature. From the beginning, Qin Jun had never intended to cooperate with Blood Bear. He didn’t even see Blood Bear as a person.

There was no need for excuses or plans. It was straightforward: hand over the energy crystal or die.

Blood Bear roared and finally couldn’t hold back. He had a violent and ruthless nature, and Qin Jun had just killed Song Bin in front of him. If he tolerated this, what would his subordinates think of him?

Filled with rage, Blood Bear decided to defy the Qin family and flee Donghua City if necessary. With his A-level talent, he could rise anywhere!

Blood Bear’s body grew larger, covered in fur, transforming into a massive bear. An A-level talent—Bear Transformation! In this form, Blood Bear was a five-meter-tall giant, each step shaking the ground as he charged at Qin Jun.

Despite his massive size, Blood Bear moved with lightning speed, showcasing an agility that defied his bulk.

Against such a formidable giant bear, Qin Jun remained calm. He coldly watched Blood Bear charge. With a wave of his hand, Blood Bear screamed as his powerful forearm twisted and shattered, flesh flying.

The pain and shock filled Blood Bear’s heart. His body’s defense in bear form was so strong that even rockets couldn’t harm him, and a dozen Evolvers couldn’t break his defense. That’s how he dominated Donghua City.

But against Qin Jun, he was almost crippled without even knowing Qin Jun’s methods!

The anger in Blood Bear’s heart disappeared, replaced by fear.

Extreme fear!

The danger posed by this Qin family scion was beyond his imagination!

Run!

Blood Bear decided to flee, abandoning everything. His instincts told him that staying meant death. Blood Bear’s speed was incredible, covering hundreds of meters in a blink.

Qin Jun’s eyes showed mockery as he clenched his right hand. The space around Blood Bear froze and collapsed inward. Blood Bear’s screams echoed as his massive body was crushed by an invisible force, like being squeezed by giant invisible hands.

The sound of bones cracking was excruciating. In less than ten seconds, Blood Bear’s five-meter-tall body was compressed into a mass of flesh, as if stuffed into a compactor.

He was dead, completely dead.
