Chapter 276 28: Another Reason To Fight

Zell spent a little while looking around the Siren's upper village before he wanted to see the village they had built below the water. His eyes could see to the bottom, and it looked amazing—however, the next moment, as he was about to jump, someone came behind him.

"So... what will you do now, husband?" Scarlet asked, wrapping her arms around his neck from behind.

He turned to face her, looking down at her cute face, feeling he did not deserve her, "Hmmm..." He suddenly wrapped his arms around her, lifting her and giving her a deep kiss before she giggled, kissing him back.

"Papa~ come play," Sasha called out to him, waving her arms from above. She floated on the water's surface with a jealous face, while many other girls seemed to be peeking at the two as Sasha's beautiful face entered his view again, kissing him as if feeling jealousy towards her children.

"You have a new life here. I could stay with the people of this village," Zell suggested as he spoke into her ears softly, causing her body to shudder and cling tighter.

"You... can't. There are so many others that need you... I am fine, just the occasional chest to lean on... and..." Her hands stroked along his crotch, "sometimes this too might help me deal with the loneliness, fufu. Don't worry about me or us. Our race is always used to raising our children alone..."

Scarlet's words comforted him, but he shook his head as her pink hair danced in the cool water. "I don't want them to fight or dislike each other..."

"Hmm? Oh~ a peaceful relationship, hehe... You are good husband material."

The two embraced, holding their faces against one another, kissing tenderly. The gentle aura calmed Zell more than anything else as she pulled back and looked up at his face, her eyes gleaming with emotion. "Honey, my dear... That's what I planned to change since I am now their leader... No more treating one better than the rest."

"Sasha will succeed me, but I will treat the other's well. I promise you." With slight webbing, her wet hands stroked Zell's cheeks as he finally nodded, not happy but knowing that his capabilities couldn't protect everyone simultaneously. Instead, he swore to visit her at least once a week, checking on the village with every daily patrol...

The Sirens lived in harmony within their underwater village—inhabited by women who gave birth to daughters.

It was a lovely afternoon for Zell, who had just fought some annoying existences, but he could soothe himself thanks to the beautiful songs of the Siren; what amazed him was the little shell tool they used to allow others to breathe underwater and even sound travelled like normal...

'How do they avoid water filling their lungs when they speak, eat or talk.... strange.'

Zell thought as he watched them sing to him, resting his head on Scarlet's shoulder.

"Scarlet, your voice is so beautiful," Zell told her, which made her smile, leaning back against him, "Thank you. We have lived our lives singing since young."

She turned to face Zell, kissing him tenderly, before she continued with a mischievous smile, "Aside from that, you love my tits, right? Haha."

"Hahaha... I do..." Zell replied as they held each other in their arms, kissing one another tenderly as she rested her head against his chest while he ran his hand over her body.

"Papa!"

Suddenly, the sound of little tails swishing g appeared behind him. Before he knew it, Sasha leapt onto his back like a small monkey, along with several others, with the distant Sirens bowing with apologetic faces.

'So raising the girls is a group effort... they are all so different, is it thanks to the sirens who take the role of mothers?'

The girl's tail swatted the water with a splash as she jumped; even though it was just a light impact, she seemed not to notice as she clung to his muscular shoulders. "Papa~ so happy!"

"Hahaha! Papa is very happy, too." Zell held her in one arm and hugged Scarlet with his other, kissing them both tenderly as they smiled back.

'How can I let them down...' Zell thought, but the other Sirens had already forgotten the issue as they began moving to various places within their village. The previously empty area was filled with Siren daughters of various shapes and sizes playing games together...

The beautiful waterscape, filled with small round huts created like small shells and used the river wall to make their homes. The sun shone on them, warming their cold bodies, as they watched the children playing and swimming around them while the older Sirens were all happy to have a home again.

'No matter what, my life has a new meaning...'

Zell could not help but hold Scarlet, Sasha and his other daughters closer, hugging them and feeling happiness—never again would he think about how things were before...

'Let's hasten the plan and move south faster. I hope the Lycan and Silverman clans can help.'

Not too long after they ate a light seafood meal, Zell realised it was best to head back so he could finish his patrol and make sure nobody got hurt.

Some so many women followed him, and meeting Scarlet reminded him of the things he promised to take responsibility for.

"Yinfra... Yanfra... I took you both for granted, and one of you is still trapped in that prison alone."

Zell hugged Sasha and his many daughters tightly before kissing their foreheads. "Daddy has to go now. Please be good for your mother, and I will return in the morning to play for a little while, okay?"

"But daaad~ I want you to stay!" a blue-haired girl cried out.

"Papa, don't leave~ Sasha will make you a nice meal!"

"Can you cook for me another day? I promise I'll come back."

He felt his heart being tugged by these cute girls, all looking at him with beady eyes shining with expectation and desire. "... You know what, I have one request," Zell told them.

"Mnn? What is it?"

"I want you to sing for me two days from now... but only if it's a song you've never sung."

"Hmmm... Okay, but what kind of song?"

"Anything you think I would like," Zell explained as the others listened curiously, wondering why he was making this request. "It doesn't matter what you sing, but can you promise me?"

Sasha and the little girls all teamed together and began to speak among themselves before they seemed to accept his terms, smiling; the little Sirens all nodded—they would do anything if it meant pleasing their father.

"Papa has to choose the best, then spoil her for an entire day!"

"Oh.... what if I like you all the best?"

"Hehe~ then you spoil us all forever! No cheating, you must pick." Sasha stuck her tongue out before placing her tiny hands on his shoulders.

"Hehe~ well, how about this one," Zell said as he began to play around with the little ones' tails, tickling them. The Siren daughters laughed as he seemed to know how to tickle them—how did he know how to do this? He just did a non-perverted way of touching their mother.

The girls then continued to argue about who they thought was best. "Lionel has my support!"

"B-but Papa is so cool, strong and handsome!"

"Ahaha~ stop fighting, it's a game."

Zell felt their happiness from how they moved—a few had cute puffed cheeks when they argued, and the others seemed to agree to disagree before resuming their tickling.

The girls sang a sweet melody as he listened, "My Daddy..." "Our Papa." "A nice husband," "Protect us forever." They all sang as they looked at one another; he wanted to join them, but Scarlet interrupted. "Enough girls. I'll take care of this." She pressed a hand against his crotch, massaging his bulge while using her tail to tickle his arm.

"I think your father has some important work to do. Let's have him go first, then sing to him in two days, okay?" she told them with a sweet smile, but Zell felt there was something extra she wanted as they continued to tease him, looking at him with an expression of love and desire.

Zell only sighed, shaking his head; he had to leave now or else, "Alright... but if you promise me to sing the best song, then I promise I will be back soon, okay?" The girls all nodded, and Sasha clung to him again before letting him go, "Papa is not a liar, so that he will return!"

He laughed as he waved to them, returning to where the others were, "I don't mind staying for a day if it makes them happy." Scarlet pulled him down into the water with her, kissing his face.

"We know you are busy, don't force it... I can wait; when you listen to the girls sing, spend the night, and I will give you a husband's welcome. Fufu, as big as always." Scarlet's eyes glowed lustfully before parting with his body and swatting him towards the surface with her tail.

"See you in two days, Zell." With a cheeky smile, she swam off with the rest of her children, waving at him from below.

"Okay! Don't overwork yourself."

Zell returned to the surface and waved to them until they disappeared under the water, watching them leave; this would be a new chapter in his life...

It was now 6 p.m.—it would take about 10 minutes for him to reach the main camp and another hour or two to get back home.

However, the thought of the girls singing to him filled Zell with anticipation as he prepared for the day's patrol.
