Chapter 795 – Azure Lotus Lord

“Long Chen, follow me,” said Bai Lan after most of them had left.

Long Chen initially thought that the events of the day had ended. Only Lei Ji, Suxue, and Suyan remained. He nodded and was prepared to follow Bai Lan, but Bai Lan said to Suyan, “Yan’er, you may go back first. I want to talk to your older sister and Long Chen about the Nine Clan Martial Youth Competition.”

Suyan asked curiously, “That tournament? You want Big Brother to go?”

Bai Lan smiled and said, “Just go home. Don’t ask too many questions.”

“Oh ...” Suyan nodded obediently. After bidding Long Chen farewell, she left, and Long Chen followed Suxue, Lei Ji, and Bai Lan to the center of Heavenly Wood City.

“The Nine Clan Martial Youth Competition?” Long Chen thought about what Suyan had said. After he heard Suyan, he guessed that Bai Lan wanted him to participate in the tournament and represent the Demon clan.

Bai Lan had helped him a great deal. If he really needed Long Chen, Long Chen was willing to help.

He followed Bai Lan and the others into the sophisticated room where he first met Bai Lan. Bai Lan and Lei Ji stood in front and turned around, then regarded Long Chen for a long time. Finally, Bai Lan said, “Your performance today exceeded my expectations. I didn’t know you had achieved such heights. I’m not going to dwell on praises though. Today, I called you here because I have a request.”

“Patriarch, please tell me what you need. If it’s within my power, I will do my best,” Long Chen said with a smile. Bai Lan and Lei Ji completely respected Long Chen, and vice versa. He mainly respected them because of the brotherhood between them, which was similar to himself and Xiaolang.

Bai Lan knew he would agree, so he smiled and said, “Good. You’re indeed a man.”

He paused, then he continued, “We don’t know where you came from, but I don’t think you’re from one of the Nine Clans or the Nine Great Empires. So, you don’t know about the Five Emperors’ treasure, right?”

“Five Emperors’ treasure?” Long Chen was privately surprised. He had long known about it, ever since he obtained the Red Emperor Seal and the Prismatic Key from the Divine Fire Realm.

However, he did not show it and hid the fact that he knew about this matter. Instead, he said, “I know about the legend of the Five Emperors’ treasure, but does it really exist?”

Bai Lan smiled and said, “I don’t know either, but it likely does. Also, the treasure will likely be made available before we leave the Ancient Graveyard.”

“Why do you say that?” asked Long Chen. He had obtained the Prismatic Key and guessed that it was related to the Five Emperors. However, he did not know the specifics.

Bai Lan and Lei Ji looked at each other, then Bai Lan said, “If you want to open the Five Emperors’ treasure, you must have all five Emperor Keys. Over the years, four of the five Emperor Keys were found. Only the Black Emperor Key remains. The Divine Wind faction, the Thunder Demon faction, and the Five Elements Alliance each have a key. The fourth key is with a Heavenly Martial Realm master known as the Long-Bearded Guest. The one that the Thunder Demon faction has is the Azure Emperor Key.”

Four of the five Emperor Keys had appeared. One had not.

Long Chen was stunned for a moment. He wondered if the remaining Black Emperor Key was the Prismatic Key he had.

If that was the case, then the five Emperor Keys were complete. Then, would they be able to unlock the Five Emperors’ treasure?

“The four keys have survived many years of battle. Each key can take two people into the Five Emperors’ Secret Realm, so a total of ten people can enter. The Azure Emperor Key can bring me and Brother Lei inside.”

Then Bai Lan took out a key that shone with azure light from the storage ring on his finger. Although it was a key, it looked more like a sword because it was half a meter long.
