"Ten-headed hydra serpent?!! There is no such thing!! It's an abomination!!" The voice of King Severus rang out, echoing the incredulity and terror shared by all present.

No such creature had ever been documented in the history of serpent blood spanning over 10,000 years. The sight of this unprecedented beast sent waves of dread even through the hearts of the grand magus leaders, who could feel the intense, intimidating aura radiating from it.

All ten serpent heads rose high into the sky, their collective roar now infused with a powerful spirit attack. The impact was devastating—thousands of non-magus in the vicinity fell lifeless instantly, and hundreds of magus crumpled to the ground, writhing in agony. The very air seemed to vibrate with the raw, malevolent energy unleashed by the hydra.

A Faulen grand magus elder, who had been standing resolutely on the city wall, suddenly bent to his knees, shouting in torment, "My Lord!! You have achieved your dream!! Please come to your senses!!" His cry was filled with a mixture of awe and despair.

Surprisingly, the shout attracted the attention of the hydra; the massive beast that previously rampaged uncontrollably stopped altogether. The serpent head with the crimson crystal turned toward the elder and the other nine followed suit, their glowing eyes fixed intently on him.

The elder grand magus, his voice trembling with hope and fear, called out, "Patriarch… you can understand me…"

For a brief moment, it seemed as though his words had reached the patriarch within the monstrous form. However, in the next instant, all nine serpent heads opened their jaws wide, their eyes gleaming with a menacing light as they began to cast a joint spell.

"WATCH OUT!!!" shouted the Viceroy from above, his voice a thunderous warning.

The two wolves' grand magus, Warwick and Philips Corvin, moved swiftly, Their combined spells formed a shimmering barrier around the city. Other grand magus quickly joined, reinforcing the protective shield with their own spells. Despite their concerted efforts, the blast unleashed by the hydra was far more potent than before.

The protective shield wavered, then shattered, sending the defending magus flying in all directions. The force of the explosion was cataclysmic, while a wave of destructive energy that tore through the defenses and surged into the city.

Buildings crumbled under the impact, and the streets were engulfed in flames. A massive explosion rocked the heart of Faulen City, killing thousands and reducing a significant portion of the Faulen Palace to rubble. The cries of the injured and the dying filled the air, mingling with the roar of the hydra.

To everyone's surprise, the serpent head with the crimson crystal suddenly spoke, its voice echoing ominously through the air. "This is the power of a tier 10 half-blood… the supreme gene… your new patriarch!!!"

The Viceroy's eyes widened in horror and realization. He couldn't help but guess that his father, the revered leader of their faction, was being controlled by the mysterious grand guardian figure. Rage boiled within him, but he was still recovering from the immense exertion of casting his tier 9 spell. He needed more time to recuperate.

Gathering his strength, the Viceroy shouted, "What have you done to our patriarch?!" Nôv(el)B\\jnn

The hydra's heads all turned in unison as the crimson crystal head responded, "I am the one who made your patriarch's dream come true. And now… all of you will bow to me!!"

These words ignited a fiery determination among the grand magus as all answered with one voice.

"Never!!"

"Good... I shall kill a few of you first for the rest to understand"

When the second-round battle was about to start, another power surged from the ground before they could advance. To their astonishment, another massive humanoid beast emerged.

HOWLLL!!!

The howl echoed across the battlefield, a chilling sound that sent shivers down their spines. The air crackled with energy as everyone tried to make sense of this new threat. However, before they could analyze the beast, it had already charged at the hydra.

"Arghh!! You again!!" the hydra's crimson crystal head roared.

The wolf-like beast, surprisingly agile, leaped between the hydra's heads, creating havoc among the serpents. It moved with a predatory grace, its claws and teeth tearing into the hydra's flesh with brutal efficiency.

The Viceroy tried to make sense of the situation as he watched the chaos unfold. Before he could gather his thoughts, three more figures emerged from the broken ground: the Ouroboros queen, accompanied by her subordinates Atika and Rictus. The queen quickly provided some explanations, revealing the identity of the star-devouring beast. The Viceroy was taken aback, realizing that the primal transformation belonged to the young magus Emery. Despite this revelation, he harbored zero hope that such a transformation by a young magus could have any impact on the battle.

However, the presence of the Ouroboros queen, Silviana, rekindled a flicker of optimism within him. "We need to work together... I need all of you to unleash your full strength," he commanded. Although his words were directed at all the grand magus, his gaze was fixed on the Ouroboros queen and the Targaryen King.

After all, among the grand magus present, only the Viceroy and the three major clan leaders—Giant Monarch Jormungand, Targaryen King Cornelius, and the Ouroboros queen—had reached the peak three stages of the realm. The others were still in the middle and lower stages.

Accepting the Viceroy's request, both the Ouroboros queen and the Targaryen King decided to utilize their [Beast Transformation].

The Targaryen King's transformation was awe-inspiring. His body began to shift, growing scales that shimmered like emeralds. Though only half the size of the Giant Monarch Jormungand, the Targaryen-winged serpent was the undisputed master of the air. His form elongated, his rib cage flattening and his body morphing into a ribbon-like shape. Translucent membranes stretched between his ribs, creating massive wings capable of catching and commanding the wind.

As his transformation was completed, Cornelius soared into the sky, his wings creating powerful gusts that swirled into a monstrous tornado. The Ouroboros Queen's transformation was even more breathtaking and intimidating. The temperature plummeted as a frozen blizzard heralded her metamorphosis. Ice crystals swirled around her, sparkling like a cascade of diamonds in the cold, harsh wind. Her form grew larger, towering over the battlefield. She transformed into a giant ice figure, a beautiful yet terrifying female humanoid with serpentine legs.

Everyone on the battlefield couldn't help but be stunned by her transformation, after all, there was an unmistakable resemblance between her and the legendary Queen Dowager herself.
