Chapter 343: Coconut village and Nefert raid

Coconut Village was a village where firelight could be seen in places. As we approached, we could see the state of the village.

There was a distinctive smell of burning from the village. Houses were blackened and some were crumbling. Most of the coconut trees, which we were told were a specialty of the area, were burnt and blackened.

"Terrible..."

Lily and the others were bewildered by the devastation. It seems that the information is correct.

Nowa told me and when I turned around, I saw an old man with a cane walking toward me. He was probably the chief of this village.

"Are you a traveler?"

"Sorry...this village cannot afford to host travelers at this time...normally we would host them with our famous coconuts...but as you can see, we have lost everything"

They lost it in the bandit attack...so the bandits' goal was not food or anything else and if they attacked the village and disappeared, it wasn't the village itself either. So what were they after?

A chimera is a monster also known as a synthetic beast. I thought it could be summoned by synthetic summoning, but is that what it is?

There were other golems in armor, a white giant and a blue giant with a dangerous presence fighting it. Identification.

A homunculus? Is that what that white giant is? I'm pretty sure that was the name of an artificial human created by an alchemist...but it's clearly not a person. And the blue giant is as expected.

Anyway, I get my spear ready to fight and reduce the damage to the town. Then comes the infos. What is it? I haven't done anything yet, have I?
