Chapter 73: Class change and the forest guard

I stopped to think about it, but apparently I can change classes. At any rate, let's see what's there. I looked at the list and saw a whole bunch of them. There are some production jobs like blacksmith and some normal warrior jobs, but apparently only your own profession can make you stronger, like evolution. For now, I saved this list as a scrapbook. I'll send it to Ruin-san, Rook and the others later. Then I looked at the class changes for Summoner.

That's a lot. Let's look at them one by one.

Warrior Summoner

A summoner who fights with weapons and summoned beasts. Weapons are corrected and strength is increased.

Yeah. I've punched, kicked and even used a sword recently. I think it's possible.

Magic Summoner

A summoner who specializes in magic. The magic is corrected and magic power is increased.

This is because I have a lot of magic, so it's possible.

Production Summoner

A summoner specializing in production. Increases the production ability of summoned beasts with production skills.

Oh~. Is there such a thing? As for me, Setia has dose and woodworking skills. I also suspect the sheep and goat I just met. So I aim for them. It's tough when there's no compensation for combat.

Intermediate Summoner

A higher level of Summoner. All summoned beasts are compensated, making them more summoner-specific.

Yeah. I'll go with Intermediate Summoner. Because I like being a Summoner for some reason. If it makes Lily and others stronger, it's not a bad idea.

Hmmm. With this, my remaining skill points are 16pt. The number of summoned beasts that can become companions has increased to 14. I've recovered a lot of skill points. I miss the days when I used to take all the magic I could get. The number of summoned beasts is increasing, but it's hard to take care of them.

Well, a lot has happened, but there's still one last battle left.

I guess Setia and Ion are right. Then a huge tree, different from Trent, approaches us. I identify it.

I tried to escape, but it was impossible. For some reason, when I moved backwards, the wood golem appeared in front of me. If I cast Return, it fails. I guess that means I should fight it. Damn it! I'm good. I'll show you what I can do now that I've changed classes!

I attacked with the same magic as I did against Trent, but none of it worked! Abnormal conditions and debuffs have no effect and of course physical attacks do not work either.

There's no point in upgrading my abilities with a class change!

And the wood golem's HP is slowly recovering...no way!?

"What should we do? Takuto-sama"

Setia asks me. I'm not sure what to do...hee...

From here on, it's an endurance battle. Using Legion Summon, we all pushed hard! But needless to say, it was a harder fight than ever.

The Wood Golem attacked faster than Trent. Moreover, it has many ways to attack. Trent only swung its hand down, but it could also punch, kick and stomp. Any of them would probably kill us instantly. It was a nasty situation, but I buffed everyone as much as I could and when I couldn't use my magic, I grabbed my staff and fought. It was an absurd battle, but I managed to defeat it after a fight to the death. And of course, everyone leveled up.

You'd think their skills would have gone up too much overall, but they'd been attacking for over an hour. I think it's more like they're not growing fast enough. Is it because of the Legion summon?

I'd like to add something about class changes. In the case of Takuto, there are four, but this number can be increased by the summoned beasts, titles, skills, etc. that you have obtained.

Next time, Lily will finally evolve. It's been a long journey so far. Look forward to seeing how strong Lily becomes!
