Chapter 403 Get Her Back

****************

CHAPTER 403

"Andy!" Liu Xueyi yelled after her. His eyes met Xu Fang. Instinctively the latter nodded. It was as though he knew his friend was asking for his support or approval but deep down Xu Fang knew Liu Xueyi was scared.

It was more of a look of frustration and helpless pain.

Everything he had gotten and built was on the verge of crumbling with no hope.

Xu Fang lifted his eyes, escorting Liu Xueyi's running form before the door came to a close.

"Love birds," Xu Fang mouthed and picked up his phone from the desk.

The second Liu Xueyi spared his friend his apologetic yet pained and lost look, he ran off without a second thought to his image.

"Andy." He called her name twice more but her pace only increased until Andromeda made a run for it. "Damn it."

Liu Xueyi chased after Andromeda with speed faster than anything she had ever seen before. Coming to a stop in front of her, he held both hands up in front of his chest to stop her.

"Please, Andy, stop. Please stop."

She twisted her lips to the side; she was not willing to give up easily and have him get back without making him see reasons.

Shaking her head, she attempted to walk past him but Liu Xueyi was not having that. He held her hand, pulling her towards him as his hand wrapped around her waist, preventing an escape for her.

Andromeda's eyes lowered to his hands on her waist before lifting to look at him. He had that pleading look in his eyes that melted her heart whenever she saw it.

Quickly she closed her eyes, wanting to prevent him from having his way so much. The more she struggled against him, Liu Xueyi felt his heart break into more pieces.

"I love you, Andy and you must know it," he pleaded his case, still Andromeda was not ready to listen. "Please do not walk away."

The moment she heard him state the last sentence, Andromeda's expression changed. She was highly displeased by his words.

She wasn't the one walking away. She actually stayed but he was not helping matters.

"Liu Xueyi if you think I am walking away from you, then that is your business and it proves you do not know me."

"I…" Andromeda shook her head. "Please."

"No. I think you chose who was important in your life and I'll do the same." She felt his hold around her loosen. Inwardly, Andromeda sighed in relief.

She was glad he wouldn't pursue the matter further but deep down, she knew that was not the case. She wanted him to fight, but also to prove to her she was the only one.

"Take care, Xueyi."

Forcing free from his grip, Andromeda walked away, keeping a clenched fist by her side, while her gown moved in sync with all of her movements.

Liu Xueyi forced a smile as he watched her retreating form. She was something else. The words he discussed with Xu Fang echoed at the back of his mind.

He knew right there he could not let her go and he understood she might be hurting while misunderstanding things.

"Andy." At the sound of his voice, Andromeda stopped in her tracks. Indeed, her resolve to walk out on him was not as strong as she imagined it. "I love you."

Andromeda turned on her heels, tears brimming in her eyes as they landed on him.

She opened her mouth to speak, her voice broke as pain washed over her. She was tired of the hurt and knew he was different but for once she wanted to be fought for.

"Then prove it."

Feeling her pain eat her up, Liu Xueyi hurried over to her and gently held the back of her neck while staring keenly into her eyes.

"You are mine and the only one for me, never forget that."

He lowered his head to hers, claiming her soft lips in his, tasting the saltiness and evidence of the tears – the very ones he forced out of her indirectly.

The thought ached him deeply. He hated it when she cried. He hated any form of pain and hurt and now that he had caused it, he couldn't forgive himself.

Andromeda must have felt his remorse from the way he kissed her, lightly sucking her lower lip in a soft manner.

His kiss made her inside hot, causing the fluttering of butterflies in her stomach as her nerves seemed to fail from that single touch.

As much as she wished to return it, she felt weakened and allowed him to do what he pleased.

Liu Xueyi took hold of the opportunity, forcing past her lips he slipped his tongue in, tasting her better while his tongue rolled around hers, pleading and begging.

When they stopped, she felt her breath return to her in a surge as her breathing became ragged. It took some time for both of them to regain themselves and stare into each other's eyes.

"I love you." Those words, though he heard them often, hearing them now made his heart leap in excitement.

"I love you."

"Then tell me, Xueyi, tell me why you must call her." He withdrew while exhaling sharply. In the state she was in, would it break her or would she be able to handle it?

"If you trust me, then tell me, Xueyi. Share your problems with me. I want to help. What does she have against you?"

His hands moved up quickly into her hair while the other held her face. "My love, I trust you. All I need is for you to trust me too. I am only calling her to confirm something and see what she wants to say. Nothing more."

"Then call her but I want to be there. I want to know everything about her and you. I want to know your past Xueyi. I cannot help but feel I am so lost when it comes to you. Let me in."

He carefully analyzed his options now. Here she was not ready to leave him but listen. He only hoped her words would remain through when she knew of the problem.

"Okay. I will. Let's go home first. I need you to be calm."
