“I don’t care about provoking you, if I could I wouldn’t even want to talk to you. Let go of your hand, I am not going!” She forcefully pulled away from him and turned to go upstairs.

A loud bang suddenly sounded from behind her. Ruan Tianling, out of rage, had kicked the tea table over. The crashing sound of the table hitting the floor scared the servants into holding their breath.

Jian Yufei hesitated a moment, then continued upstairs.

“The child is mine, why are you not letting me go!” Ruan Tianling yelled at her retreating figure, questioning her angrily, even his tone bore a hint of unnoticed grievance.
