Florida Man in Magus World: Unleashing Liberty and Freedom

Chapter 158: Florida Man Accidentally Sprays Bystander with R18 Holy Liquid While Pretending to Be a Pigeon

Jagged Beard's messy brown beard swayed with each step as he made his way toward the flying island's anchor. His braided hair, touching his broad shoulders, bounced lightly with the movement.

His thick calloused hands told the story of a craftsman who had spent centuries honing his skills, but the blisters and scars on his fingers revealed a man who had once wielded incredible power, now cursed and reduced to manual labor.

At 400 years old, Jagged Beard was no ordinary dwarf. He had once been a proud, four-star aura knight, feared and respected in equal measure. But that was before the curse.

A cruel brand which etched onto his chest stripped him of his aura and bound his powers. His aura knight abilities, which had once allowed him to stand toe-to-toe with the strongest warriors, were locked away, leaving him at the mercy of lesser men.

One such man was Kim Jung, a 40-year-old truck driver from Earth, now transported to this strange world and granted the dubious title of "master" over Jagged Beard.

Kim Jung wasn't particularly fearsome as he was overweight, out of shape, and clueless about the world's intricacies. Yet, the magic item he wielded gave him an edge.

To Jagged Beard, it was humiliating that such a fool now held the reins to his fate.

Glaring at his master, Jagged Beard clenched his fists. The ankle chain rattling under his feet as he made his way along the anchor connecting the flying island to the ground.

'If I still had my aura, I would have used your fatty meat to fuel my forge and smashed your hands on an anvil, you fat bastard… Ptui!'

Jagged Beard spat the thought, glancing back with a murderous glare. His hatred was a constant simmering fire, but without his aura, there was little he could do but serve.

Kim Jung, looking up at the island and watching Jagged Beard climbing upward, bellowed, "What are you looking at, you stinky shorty? Want me to whip you again?"

He brandished the magical whip in his hand like a child with a toy, clearly reveling in his newfound authority.

Jagged Beard squinted his eyes. Despite his fury, the curse forced him to remain silent. His legs moved automatically, stepping across the massive chain that anchored Felix's flying island to the earth below.

Despite the chains and cuffs binding him, Jagged Beard's dexterity was still impressive. He balanced himself on the chain as if it were a tightrope, walking with perfect precision, even as the wind howled around him.

Kim Jung, watching from below, crossed his arms and sneered. He had tried to imagine himself scaling the chain, but the mere thought made his knees tremble.

His cowardice was masked by his bravado as he barked orders, but inside, he knew the truth. He wasn't cut out for this world of magic and monsters. Yet here he was, trying to survive by using others.

"Argh! This damn system! How am I supposed to get on that thing without climbing it myself?" Kim Jung grumbled. His system didn't come with a helpful AI like Felix's Jessica. He was on his own, fumbling through the unfamiliar interface.

Fiddling with his system menu, Kim Jung pulled up the details of his current quests, squinting at the glowing text that appeared before him.

Main Quest Objective: Enslave a Lamia

Rewards: Mysterious Magic Book

Hint: Terra City or Black Forest

Looking at the only clue on the system screen, Kim Jung scowled.

According to the wandering merchants he had met in the Aero City Ruins, Terra City had already been overrun by the Black Forest lamias. But when he arrived here, he found a massive floating island, with no sign of Terra City or any lamias in sight.

Frustration welled up inside him. What had started as a quest to enslave a lamia and carve out some semblance of power in this new world was now a confusing mess. He had no idea what to do, and the presence of the flying island only made things more complicated.

In a fit of anger, Kim Jung grabbed the enormous chain, which was thicker than his entire body. He shook it violently, though it didn't budge. He screamed at the sky, venting his frustration to the world.

"SCREW THIS SYSTEM! SCREW THIS WORLD! WHO THE HELL SENT ME HERE?!"

His voice echoed through the air, but no answer came. Only the rustling of the wind and the distant sounds of creatures in the forest below responded to his outburst.

As Kim Jung stood there seething, Jagged Beard tuned around, silently observing his master's tantrum from above.

A part of him found grim satisfaction in watching the human struggle with his own incompetence. Jagged Beard knew that Kim Jung was a fool, and the day the curse would be lifted from his chest couldn't come soon enough. If that day ever came, he vowed that the first thing he would do was take that whip and shove it down Kim Jung's anus.

But for now, the dwarf could only grit his teeth as he climbed the thick chain. Each step served as a reminder of his powerlessness.

He bided his time, hoping, praying for a miracle that would free him from this wretched curse. Jagged Beard raised his eyes to the bright sky above, his rough hands gripping the cold metal links of the chain.

'If there are gods out there, please guide this poor soul. What must I do to free myself from this accursed fate?'

As his silent plea drifted through his mind, a sudden movement caught the corner of his eye.

There was a shadow, large and swift, blotting out the sun for a brief moment. Instinctively, Jagged Beard squinted, staring at the movement of the shadow.

Was it a bird?

No. It was too big to be a bird.

Was it a dragon?

But no… it was something far stranger.

A flying snake?

Wait a second, no, it wasn't just a snake. The creature was too large and had a distinctly human-like form attached to it.

Jagged Beard's jaw dropped as he finally realized what he was seeing. It wasn't a flying snake but a lamia—a giant serpent woman with the torso of a human. And attaching to her back and clinging to her, there was an actual naked human.

But why were they plummeting from the sky?

And what in the nine hells was that naked guy doing with that lamia?!

Fornication in the sky?!

Couldn't you do it on the ground?!

His shock deepened as the strange pair shot past him at an alarming speed. The lamia's tail whipped through the air like a trail of smoke. They descended toward the ground with impossible swiftness, heading straight for Kim Jung, who remained oblivious below, still shaking the chain in his fury.

'My brothers of Great World Tree, what the hell!?' Jagged Beard inwardly exclaimed. His thoughts were a whirlwind of confusion and awe. He quickly turned around, trying to get a better look at the falling figures.

The dwarf watched the pair hurtling toward Kim Jung like a comet crashing to earth. The human attaching on the lamia's front looked silly, and the lamia herself looked fierce. Her serpentine body gleaming in the sunlight. Whoever they were, it was clear that they weren't just passing by.

Something was about to happen. Something big.

Jagged Beard's heart pounded in his chest.

Could this be the miracle he had prayed for?

Was this his chance for freedom, delivered in the form of a lamia and her rider?

*PA*

Suddenly, some strange sticky liquid fell from the sky and landed on Jagged Beard's rough face. They were white and smelly… smelling like…

It dawned on him. As the male human and a female lamia were flying at a breathtaking speed while their bodies were attached to each other, they were doing something unthinkable. And after they shot past him, the liquid of their deed followed along due to the momentum.

Then, there was only one explanation.

Unable to speak, Jagged Beard couldn't help but scream in his mind.

'SON OF A FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!'

Meanwhile, Diana gently placed Felix on the ground, parting from him with an almost casual detachment. A faint sheen of leftover liquid dripped from their joined bodies.

The queen had long since forgotten what shame was, and Felix's personal sense of modesty was nonexistent. As a result, they both stood confidently before the fat stranger, arms crossed, as if baring all was the most natural thing in the world.

"So," Felix sized up Kim Jung, his eyes narrowing slightly before turning to Diana. "Is this the guy?"

Diana flashed a proud smile. "Yes, it's him."

"Sweet."

Felix's eyes flicking down to Kim Jung's glowing whip, unimpressed. It had an intimidating aura, but Felix had no interest in BDSM. He wasn't here for games.

Kim Jung, now realizing the bizarre and possibly dangerous nature of his situation, puffed up his chest. He stared at the nearly naked couple and bellowed.

"Who the hell are you?! Don't you know who I am?!"

Felix gave the fat man a blank stare before tilting his head, as if considering the question. Then, without warning, a grin split across his face.

His hand shot into his inventory, and in a smooth motion, he pulled out a pistol. The gun materialized in his grip, and before Kim Jung could comprehend what was happening, Felix aimed at his face and pulled the trigger.

*BANG*

Kim Jung didn't even flinch. The bullet tore through his skull, and his thoughts evaporated into the void as darkness overtook him. There wasn't even time to process his system's final message.

<YOU DIED!>

Felix crouched next to the now lifeless body, unbothered by the sight of the fresh corpse. He summoned a dagger from his inventory and began slicing through Kim Jung's stomach with mechanical precision.

Within moments, he uncovered a small, clear brown crystal nestled close to the man's heart. Felix plucked it out, holding it up for Diana to inspect.

"Is this the fate crystal? It looks a bit… different."

Diana leaned over, giving the gem a quick glance before nodding. "Yes, that's the one."

"Good," Felix said, feeling the weight of another task falling off his shoulders.

*DING*

As Felix had predicted, the system notification sound rang. Jessica's portrait avatar popped into view. With her usual deadpan expression, she raised a hand and popped a little digital confetti to celebrate.

<Congratulations, Felix. You've finally completed Main Quest #9!>

Felix wiped his hands, standing up with the crystal in one palm. Read more content on m-vl-em-pyr
