Oh I saw some comment asking why Ling Huaan didnt confess first and instead waited for Jing Chengyan to do it

It was mentioned on ch 30. It was bec of Jiang Chengyans family background. He was the only man in Jang Family who made he will be the heir, and there will be so many obstacles in the future, because of it, so he insisted Jiang Chengyan confirm his determination to be with him so they can face it together.

Also in my personal opinion maybe bec Ling Huaan knew that Jiang Chengyan always hiding what he wants to say/do regarding his own feelings
