Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master

Chapter 172 Lisa's Tale [Part 2]

"…"

"Listen to the entire thing first," Lisa glared at the trio as they nodded and waited for her to continue.

Zack was the only one who knew what had happened to Lisa and what she had actually done during her acting. He couldn't help but wonder how Emma and Hayden would react when they heard the truth.

"So well, it wasn't my choice to become a prostitute, especially in an age where it's so tightly banned that the smallest slip up can cost you your life. But I didn't really have a choice. Stuck with the option of having to pay back loans and debt, I was forced into the job.

For every session that I had, I would be able to pay 5% of my debt which could be rounded off to 10% if the client liked me." Lisa suddenly paused as a devilish grin appeared on her face.

"If only they knew the truth. I paid back every single cent of the debt and loan on my head by going in with the clients, giving them spiked drinks, and recording them agreeing to use prostitutes.

I would be one click away from uploading it when they woke up and since they were some of the richest, they would 'help' me pay back my debt. The only downside was that I had to move away but I was happy about it.

After continuously shifting around and doing the same thing with a lot of men, I finally managed to be free. However, those men soon started chasing me since their so-called pride refused to let them get bested by a young blond like me.

Well, that's where I was able to run and hide and be constantly on the move. When Hikari launched, I knew that it was a life-changing possibility if I managed to enter a big guild and move away.

Sadly, that didn't happen and I was somehow loped into having a contract with Ken, at that time Neji, and his guild. But due to that, I managed to enter a full security real-life zone provided by Telsa so I was safe.

In a way, I owe Ken my life which I repaid by getting him to meet you." Lisa finished as she waited for her friends to respond.

She had been expected to be called a few things and steeled her nerves for the blow that never came.

"Damn, why are all of us orphans wronged by life?" Emma asked while glaring at the dark sky above. "Who the fk decided this?!"

Hayden, who had been completely serious and had been thinking of consoling Lisa, chuckled a little as he too shouted the same thing.

But on the inside, both of them knew that it had to do something with the past or that their luck was just that bad.

"If you were expecting something bad, then I guess we still haven't made ourselves familiar with you," Zack said in a serious tone as he flicked her forehead with his index finger.

Lisa was surprised by his action before she felt someone lifting her breasts from the underside.

"Hmm, what size are they?" Emma asked curiously as she looked at Lisa's chest before looking down at her own.

Zack and Hayden kindly averted their eyes as they heard Lisa whispering something that they couldn't hear. It was then followed by laughter as Emma rested back and floated on the water.

"Now that you have gotten something off your chest, it's time for us to resume what we were doing," Zack announced as the three of them nodded.

Together, they began diving again in a much happier mood.

After two days of hard work, Zack finally managed to create an underwater breathing technique.

However, the others refused to take it from him and after a few more hours, managed to develop their own.

[ Underwater Nose(Passive) (Permanently on): Permanently modifies your nose to be able to breathe underwater, no matter the depth or the quality of the water. You will never drown after getting this skill. ]

All of them managed to get the same skill and were ready to go. As for their eyesight, Eva had come in clutch with prototype goggles.

"These were never tested near the levels of Mariana trench but they should theoretically be able to keep your eyes safe the entire time and allow you to see under the water."

Eva had explained the features of the goggles to them before handing out four pairs despite Zack's explanation. She had said that it was better to carry one in case of an emergency so Zack had put it in his inventory.

Now, all of them were flying on top of Eva's mansion as Zack took off. He didn't say anything as he knew that the trio already knew everything that he had in mind.

It took them a good twenty minutes to reach the top of the Pacific ocean, directly above the Mariana trench.

Zack then looked at his friends who were simply dressed in jeans and shirts. No one would dare to say that they were going to dive into the deepest point of the Pacific ocean in such an outfit.

"I guess we are going to create history here," Hayden amused as he stepped on the water and stood on top of it. "Maybe we should get someone to write this down for the future generation."

"If humanity somehow manages to survive, I will feel pity for them. They would have to go through all the history from the two thousand till this point." Zack replied as all of them stepped on top of the water.

He then looked at all of them one last time before letting go of the wind and diving down. The others soon followed him after wearing the glasses as they looked around under the water.

"So, we can talk here too?" Emma suddenly asked as her voice was clear as day despite them being under the water.

Their vision wasn't bothered one bit and they still felt as though they were still on land. After confirming that everything was fine, they began their descent.
