Chapter 473 Rescue-2

Chapter 473 Rescue-2

" Boss! You are here!" Jane was the first to greet him. Other team members were standing afar, not knowing how to face him.

It was their first meeting after the LA fiasco, where they held critical information from him. They had to talk sometimes, but no one had time to prepare for it. Samuel approached them with five ghost soldiers he saw as the best.

He didn't take their team leader, fearing another attack would occur in his absence. They needed to protect the Orphanage till he eradicated the rats and rescued Elise.

" Boss-"

" Young master! I am ashamed, I shouldn't have told you but I only wanted to protect you at first. I never wanted to keep anything from you, but I ended up hurting you! I should have gone back and begged for your forgiveness, but I wanted to go back after finishing what you started!" Arthur cut Steve off, went on his knees, and said his peace while bowing his head.

He had a duty to serve the Rothschild family, and Samuel, the heir to that family, ended up treating him like a child, which he shouldn't have. He had seen him grow into an exceptional young man; he couldn't live in the past when he first met Samuel!

" It's fine to get up! We are wasting valuable seconds. I will deal with the issue later, so I want everyone's full focus on this mission. That goes for you guys too!" He told Steve, his team, and the ghost soldiers he brought with him.

He understood why they did what they did, but forgiving them was another problem. If his people became disfranchised every time his life was threatened, nothing would be left for him to return to. This was one reason he didn't like to have any partners in any venture while expanding his business.

Only a handful of his technology companies were public; the rest were privately owned by his umbrella corporation. Although it slowed his growth, it came with maximum stability.

" What's the layout? I can see few people on the street." He changed the subject.

" That's to be expected, even though we are in a old district and the flow of bystanders are minimum. We couldn't mask our presence." Drac spoke first. He already had a general outline of the area.

" The streets are also narrow so I can't drive like I could," Ze added. Being the technicians for their transport, they also had to make sure about their exit plan.

" Don't forget about our gear. We can't have our normal heavy firearms for this mission. I propose we go with a few silenced pistol." Cho said while looking inside their van. They were definitely overgeared, but it was confident they couldn't use it publically. With Samuel, they had to avoid any more significant incidents.

" Aren't you forgetting something crucial? We don't have a pinpoint location! How are we going to track them without alerting them first!?" Steve posed the most crucial problem.

" Don't worry about that, here the plan. Jane and Drac would run support, first where is Adrian?" He asked.

" We left him in the hotel, I thought it was too dangerous-"

" Perfect; first ask him to jam signal in this location." Samuel pulled out his phone, went through maps, and gave them the coordinates. He was already done with a full sweep with his life detector and already knew the location of Elise; it was not far from their site.

" Boss?" Steve was puzzled. How did Samuel find the location? But there was no way he could ask him that right now.

" I am on it!" Jane said and went back into the van.

" Ze park the car right up...? THERE!" Samuel looked around and reasonably calculated a blind spot near a juice vendor. He already had a lay of the land; he could quickly sneak up behind them to evacuate Elise safely.

" Alright, boss." Ze went ahead. He was already used to Samuel's eccentric behaviours; there was no need to question him as he gave him direct orders.

" Steve and Arthur will lead a team through.." Jane handed him a tablet just in time. Samuel drew a few lines in a minute and marked several vital points. There were also detailed descriptions of the enemy's location along the route. It was several alleyways, so the risk of detection was low, too.

He instructed the ghost soldiers to follow the two and told them repeatedly to keep their personal channels open in case of emergency. With everything done, only he was left alone. Everyone wondered what he would do, but their answers were soon revealed when he proclaimed it himself.

" I will head from here. Gear up and follow my command without questioning, I want all of you alive when we finish this mission!" he shouted.

" Young master, at least let me.." Arthur wanted to say something, but he only glared him off. Everyone knew what he could do, but it was a suicide mission!

First, his route was the shortest, so he would face the enemies first. No one in their right mind would go alone; who knew how much firepower the other side had?

Second, he only had two pistols with few spare mags. If he did go into a firefight, the backup would need a few minutes to converse on his location. With the layout of how this city was built, there was only a narrow road without any hardcovers!

Third, if he could kill the first few people. The reinforcements would surely go in his direction first, which meant more firepower and fewer chances for him to escape with his life. No matter how they looked at it, it was the most dangerous route, with a sure bet of him getting killed or hurt. How could they allow him to do such a thing?

" I can tell you are worried but we don't have time. If I face any serious hurdle, I have several means to escape. Here, is a fire escape and here is a hotel. They wouldn't want to attack me openly, right?" He pointed at a few structures which hardly had a label on them.

It was grey buildings on the map; who knew what was there, but his voice was convincing enough for them to reluctantly agree. With a laid-out plan, they suited up and headed in different directions while always maintaining communication.
