Chapter 118: Entering the Zhenzhu!

*threiik* The ground trembled a little as the soil parted. Fei Ziyu, whose body was brimming with brown energy smiled seeing this and Xia Shenyi spoke "Now plant the herbs."

"Yes, Lady Shenyi!" Fei Ziyu nodded her head and began to plant herbs and seeds in the soil. Xia Shenyi waved her hand and sprinkles of water flowed on the herbs.

"From now on taking care of this is your job." hearing Xia Shenyi's words, Fei Ziyu bowed her head "Yes, Lady Shenyi!"

Xia Shenyi nodded her head and walked away. Seeing the walking figure of Xia Shenyi, a sigh escaped Fei Ziyu's lips "Is Lady Suyun again here today? Master told me not to speak about her to Lady Ying."

She looked up at the sky and closed her eyes "It's quite lovely here... Mom is in the company. Hmm, guess I'll just go and cultivate."

Xia Shenyi went to her room and opened the door. As she entered she saw Zhao Suyin sitting in her room cultivating.

*swoosh* Zhao Tian was dashing through the air at full speed clearing the clouds. After some hours of traveling, he finally reached a forest and the sun was high in the sky as it was already noon.

Hm? he looked down at the snow-filled forest with a frown on his face. "There are so many astral beasts in this forest. Is this really the way to Zhenzhu? I can feel the density of the astral energy in the air increasing."

He used his astral sense and glanced around some kilometers and it was full of forest area. "Is Zhenhzu inside the forest?!" he muttered and flew through the air searching for any cultivators.

After some minutes of searching through the forest, he finally found a way that looked like a clear path cutting through the thick, icy wilderness.

He landed on the path and walked through it looking around the beautiful forest bathing in the noon light sun. "The astral beasts around this area are rather low-level."

As he continued walking, he suddenly found some presence emerging from the dense forests approaching him... from all sides.

A sigh escaped Zhao Tian's lips "There are always people like this." he muttered looking at the people who just came out of the forest surrounding him.

They are all wearing black robes and hiding their faces with masks. Some people even have weapons in their hands with killing intent in their eyes. It's the usual bandits' cliche.

The bandits were also quite perplexed looking at Zhao Tian's unfamiliar attire "His clothing seems different."

They are puzzled looking at Zhao Tian's black pants and white hoodie "Is he from the human world?"

"From the human world? But how did he enter the forest filled with astral beasts if he was a human?"

One of them stepped forward and spoke "Give m-" *flick* Zhao Tian flicked his finger and a spark of fire was shot at the bandit.

The sound of sizzling flesh filled the air as the bandit's body ignited in a blaze of fiery red. *frisshh* "Arggghhh!" The bandit's body began to burn in scorching red fire and the other bandit's eyes dilated in horror hearing his scream of pain.

The smell of burning flesh mingled with the acrid scent of smoke, created a nauseating atmosphere of fear and despair. The bandit writhed in pain, his skin blistering and blackening as the flames consumed him, leaving nothing but charred remains.

*thud* The burnt body fell to the ground, and the rest of the bandits stepped away in panic. Zhao Tian spoke "That's your warning. Get lost!"

His murderous intent is already high now after killing so many people. So he decided to refrain from killing people mindlessly.

*fwoosh* Hearing his cold voice, the bandits didn't hesitate and fled from there with fear gripping their hearts. "W-What is he?"

"Don't worry our Boss is in the Qin village, he will take care of him."

Zhao Tian walked through the path and he soon reached a big entrance in front of him. With curiosity, he entered through the entrance and saw the village in front with some people and even bandits walking around brazenly.

But as Zhao Tian made his way to the entrance, the villagers were taken aback by his presence, their eyes fixed on him in astonishment. A handsome young man has entered their village but has strange clothes on him.

Zhao Tian was confused seeing the village, What actually is this Zhenzhu? He just thought there would be a group of sects or an organization. but seems like a whole country is inside Zhenzhu.

His eyes darted around and saw an old shop, its weathered sign barely visible through the overgrown plants.

He walked towards the shop and as he opened his mouth to speak, the old woman cut him off with a warning, her eyes darting nervously "Youngman, I don't know who you are, but you better leave before they come." she urged, her voice trembling with fear.

"Oh? Who do we have here?"

Zhao Tian heard a voice and he turned his head to look at some men wearing the same robes same as the bandits who he just saw in the forest.

The old woman shrunk in fear and rushed back into the shop. Zhao Tian frowned seeing them, he just wanted to know some information about Zhenzhu but the bandits were making his work hard.

The men in black robes were also surprised looking at the clean handsome boy in front of them. "How did this guy come here crossing our men?"

"Are those guys drinking and slacking off?"

Zhao Tian looked at the men and only one of them was in the True Astral Stage and the others were even below him.

The man who seemed to be the leader spoke in a calm tone "Brat, you are from the human world... how did you enter here Qin village?"

Zhao Tian frowned slightly and spoke "I just want some information about Zhenhzu."

"Huh? Information about Zhenhzu? Hahaha! Chain and drag him." The leader spoke with a chuckle and two men standing beside him nodded "Yes, Boss."

"As I thought you guys are not cooperating at all." Zhao Tian spoke in a cold voice and *thriishh* Ice crystals burst forth from his feet and spread through the ground instantly freezing the men who came forward to tie him.

"What the-" The others and the village people were shocked to the core seeing this and their jaws dropped leaving them speechless. "D-Did he just froze them?"

"He is not a normal human?" They gasped in surprise and *crassh* the ice pillar broke into tiny ice particles leaving a mush of blood.

'Here I go killing again.' he thought of killing only when it was necessary but problems keep coming after him and it seems like he couldn't stop his killing streak.

*thrishh* A sudden sound of cracking ice filled the air as sharp spikes of ice formed around the area, the sharp icy spikes piercing through their bodies and leaving them in terrific pain. "ARGHHH!"

The leader stammered in disbelief "W-Who are you? What a powerful cultivator like you ... doing here?" *thissh* *kichik* As he spoke, the sound of icy spikes piercing through the air could be heard, striking down another bandit.

Zhao Tian didn't have time to hear the leader's bullshit and soon killed all of them.

The villagers who were still in shock snapped out of their daze and slowly walked out of their homes. "H-He killed them?"

"HE KILLED THEM!!!"

"Finally, we can live peacefully from the bandits! Hahaha!" Laughter and echoes filled the air as smiles bloomed on the people's faces after years of struggling.

Filled with joy, they cried out in excitement and hurried towards Zhao Tian. But Zhao Tian raised his hand and they all stopped in their tracks confused.

Zhao Tian spoke "I know you are all happy that the bandits are killed. But I just want some information about Zhenzhu! If you guys have any map or..."

As soon as they heard his request, confusion spread among the people and they exchanged bewildered glances with one another.

At this time a middle-aged man walked forward from the crowd and bowed his head. "Thank you for saving our village from the bandits and helping us. I am the village head of this village."

"Seems like you are on your way towards the core of Zhenhzu..." the middle-aged man turned to look at a young man "Go and take that map!"

"Yes, Dad!" The young man quickly went inside and came back with a map in his hand which was well-preserved.

"This is the map we have which was given to us by our Ancestors." Zhao Tian took the map in his hand and saw the drawings in it.

'So the Zhenhzu is actually covered by forest on all sides with astral beasts within them?' he muttered looking at the map and as he thought, Zhenhzu was like a small kingdom with many villages and cities.

Seeing a red dot in the center, he saw the marked place "Royal capital?"

The middle-aged man who was standing near him spoke "That is the royal capital of the Royal Ning family and top sects and families also live there."

Zhao Tian scanned the whole map and saved it in his memory. "Here, thank you!" Zhao Tian handed over the map.

Buying the map, the middle-aged man shook his head "No, young man we should be the ones thanking you." As he bowed all the people standing around him also bowed.

Zhao Tian smiled gently and a pouch of astral stones appeared in his hands. "Here you can have this." he placed it on the Village head's hand.

The middle-aged man was shocked as he felt the heft of the object in his grasp, causing his body to shake with disbelief "T-This much...?" But before he could finish, Zhao Tian already disappeared from there flying through the air.

The village people were startled seeing Zhao Tian flying "The one who came is actually a cultivator above Heave Stage Realm?"
