292  Breaking in!

Natalie Thompson came out of her shock and took a defensive position as twin daggers appeared in her hands and a yellow glint passed through her eyes.

Cai Luo was amused by the peculiar daggers and squinted her eyes. 'Daggers... hmm.'

The four of them stood silent and looked at each other cautiously.

Glancing at the blonde haired woman with a metal mask, Zhao Tian let out a sigh and lowered his hood, showing his white hair. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Seeing the white hair, Natalie Thompson instantly recognized him and muttered in a low voice "It's you..." but still she didn't let her guard down.

Zhao Tian saw that she was still wary of him 'So... is she really against the Lycan Kingdom?' he thought, because if she is the enemy of the Lycan Kingdom, then they can gain a powerful ally.

Natalie Thompson spoke in a hushed tone "What are you doing here?"

"I should be asking you the same."

Natalie Thompson scoffed under her breath "I was quite suspicious of you... but you also came here to spy on the Lycan Kingdom, right?"

She took a deep breath, her gaze wandering around the other two women 'I can't see through their cultivations. It seems like this guy is hiding their presence and cultivation with his own aura.'

Zhao Tian scanned through the whole building and spoke in a faint voice "We are lucky, the main research room is just below the floor we are going to enter."

Now he can scan even more accurately, as he can see through the souls.

Natalie Thompson was quite amazed by this and the four of them quickly flew to the west side of the big building.

*swoosh* Flying down, they all quickly entered the room through the window.

As they entered the room, they saw many papers pinned to the wall. The walls themselves were covered with intricate diagrams and detailed models, showcasing the careful planning and thought that had gone into each project. "Maybe... the room of one of the researchers? They might have left the window open." Natalie Thompson muttered under her breath.

Zhao Tian walked to the door and gently twisted the doorknob, breaking it. As the four of them stepped out, Zhao Tian scanned through all the rooms on the floor, and there were no souls within them.

'Seems like this whole floor is the residence of the researchers.'

"Let's go down."

With cautious steps and without making any noise, they walked down the stairs and there are only two large rooms on this floor, one to the right and another to the left.

However, the walls in these rooms are not completely enclosed, as there is a small space for ventilation at the top of the wall.

Zhao Tian glimpsed at the green light flickering from inside the room through the ventilators. He pointed to the left room, where there were two powerful souls.

The other three nodded and slowly walked towards the room to check on it.

As they reached the walls, they gently floated in the air to reach the top of the wall and peeked in through the narrow gap left for ventilation.

Within the room illuminated by a soft green glow, numerous scientists clad in white lab coats bustle about, their attention focused on a towering cylindrical container filled with a mysterious liquid. Inside the cylinder, there is a transformed wolf's body levitating.

Among them, two middle aged men stood out from the others and they had an aura of superiority around them. Beside them, another young man stood with a boring face.

Miles Williams spoke with a huge grin on his face "Just a few more days."

The minister who was standing beside him nodded his head "Yes, Your Highness, within a few days... the project will be completed and we can mass produce these nukes."

Orlando Williams let out a grumpy sigh "Father, shall I return to my room? It is really boring here."

Miles Williams shook his head helplessly "Orlando, you are the future ruler... so you want to see everything happening. But you are spending all the time with women."

"Tsk. Don't remind me of that. I sent a minister to snatch that guy's girlfriend but we don't know what happened, we never heard from that minister again."

He turned his eyes to his father "By the way, Father... where is Grandpa? After the breakthrough, he disappeared."

Miles Williams smiled dryly "I don't know what he is up to, but he said... that he is going to get an inheritance."

"Inheritance? Heh, that sounds interesting."

Miles Williams chuckled. "Yeah, Father has found this Inheritance in his younger days but he is not powerful enough to gain it."

"However, now that he has broken through... he thought he was eligible and went to gain that inheritance."

Meanwhile, outside the room, hearing all the conversation, Zhao Tian had a frown on his face 'The Grandpa they are mentioning must be the guy who broke through the Half Empyream realm.'

'So, he is not really here at this moment and went in search of an inheritance?'

His frown deepened as he thought, 'This is the right time to attack and kill Miles Williams and Orlando Williams.'

Zhao Tian glanced at the three women and gestured them to back away from the wall.
