Chapter 59  Against the Boss!

Zhao Tian calmly observed the group of assassins swiftly rushing towards him. Well, the woman just made the thing easier for him. Now he doesn't have to chase them... they will come towards him.

As Laure observed the scene unfolding before her, a subtle smirk appeared on her face. Her eyes were irresistibly drawn to Zhao Tian, and a fleeting thought escaped her lips "Damn, he is so handsome..." she muttered licking her lips.

Zhao Tian frowned his brows "Just Heaven astral Stage, not a big problem..." he spoke as he did a horizontal slash. *swish* The man in front of him narrowly evaded the slash just in the nick of time as he instinctively took two steps back.

The man squinted his eyes in frustration 'What stage is he? I can't see through his cultivation!' *woosh* he leaped up from the ground and swiftly darted out of the area, soaring through the air.

Zhao Tian played along and left the underground hurling toward the air. "So you are also in Heaven Astral Stage." The man spoke as his entire body became engulfed in a radiant blaze of red flames. *woosssh* With a swift whooshing sound, the man's sword ignited with a brilliant flame, casting a fiery glow as he lifted his hand "Swirling flames!" *swooosh* Enormous slashes formed of scorching fire surged toward Zhao Tian, threatening to engulf him in a blaze of destruction. Zhao Tian casually flicked his hand, releasing a powerful wave of Astral energy that collided with the oncoming slashes, obliterating them in an epic display of force. *boom*

The man was startled seeing this and he prepared for his next move. To finish things quickly, Zhao Tian dashed toward him and again slashed his sword with presicion not missing the attack this time.

*sleesh* A cleave landed on the man's chest splitting his body into two "ARGHHHH!!" A gut-wrenching scream escaped from his lips, echoing through the air as his eyes widened in disbelief. In his final moments, he glanced at the floating figure of Zhao Tian and he closed his eyes, his body collapsing to the ground in a gruesome heap among the trees. *thud* *crassh*

Laure standing in the underground was bewildered seeing the man getting defeated. She couldn't believe her eyes and stammered, "This can't be real...he was even more powerful than me." But sensing a presence, a smile appeared on her lips "The boss is here..."

"The Boss is here!" The others also exclaimed in delight.

Zhao Tian turned his head and saw the man hovering in the air looking at him with a cold gaze, devoid of emotions.

"You killed my years of hard work. just like that?" Ye Lan spoke narrowing his eyes "I won't let you go so easily."

A glint of purple energy passed through Ye Lan's eyes as he quickly appeared near Zhao Tian leaving a trail of purple energy behind. *swoosh*

Zhao Tian raised an eyebrow looking at the incredible speed *woosh* He blinked his eyes and saw a punch crackling with vibrant purple electricity inching closer to his face. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

*thud* Zhao Tian reacted swiftly by raising his left hand and blocking the incoming fist with his forearm. *boom* The impact created a mesmerizing *swoosh* sound, causing visible ripples to form in the air around them. Ye Lan was stunned seeing Zhao Tian casually blocking his punch concentrated with Astral energy. "I am at the 9th level of Heaven Astral Stage and you blocked me. What is your stage?"

"6th level of Heaven Astral Stage..." Zhao Tian said and punched right at Ye Lan's face, his fist sinking into his face as he was sent blasting on the floor *Booom* Trees were crushed as he crashed to the ground, leaving behind a trail of destruction in his wake. The force of the impact was so great that it created large cracks in the ground.

Zhao Tian was originally at the 3rd level, but after his dual cultivation with Chi Miya, he soared three levels reaching the 6th level of the Heaven Astral Stage.

Zhao Tian retracted the sword from his ring as he thought of throwing hands with Ye Lan. Ye Lan got up from the impact and brushed off the debris, preparing to retaliate. He bent his knees, ready to make his move. *woosh*

He again hurled towards Zhao Tian at lightning speed "That's Impressive." Ye Lan uttered as he threw a series of punches at Zhao Tian.

Zhao Tian narrowed his eyes and he blocked every single punch aimed at him. As Ye Lan pushed his right fist for a punch, Zhao Tian deftly caught his wrist twisting it with his left hand, and raised his own right fist punching right at Ye Lan's chest. *booom*

"Urgh!" *cough* Ye Lan spat out a mouthful of blood and was thrown far into the air, his body swirling. Ye Lan regained his composure, cleaning away the blood flowing from his lips while still floating.

He took a deep breath and a surge of purple lightning crackled through his entire being, causing his eyes to emit a vibrant purple glow. Haa! Ye Lan again stormed towards Zhao Tian unleashing a relentless barrage of punches upon him.

Zhao Tian also blocked his punches while giving him a punch on his own. Laure standing at the underground frowned her eyebrows.

She couldn't clearly see what was happening as she could only see flashes of blue and purple lighting clashing in the sky but she was sure that they were exchanging blows in the air.

Ye Lan gripped his palm tightly, causing bolts of lightning to form into sharp claws on his hand. With a fierce determination, he launched a series of lightning-infused punches at Zhao Tian.

Zhao Tian blocked the punches and gave an uppercut right at his chin thrashing him away in the air *woosh*

*swish* Zhao Tian appeared beside Ye Lan and delivered a forceful kick directly towards his skull, sending him plummeting to the ground *boom* The impact not only incapacitated Ye Lan but also inflicted significant damage upon the surrounding forest because of their intense fight.

*cough* *cough* Ye Lan once again rose from the ground, coughing and wheezing. As he regained his footing, *crack* a dazzling display of purple lightning enveloped his body, forming a majestic phantom of a dragon. The crackling energy surged through his veins, fueling his determination.

*ROOAARR* With a deafening roar that echoed through the air, Ye Lan propelled himself forward Zhao Tian "Dragon of Lightning!"

Looking at the huge head of the Lighting dragon hurling towards him, Zhao Tian pulled back his fist and directly punched the phantom of the dragon.

With a shattering *boom* *crash,* the force of his clenched fist collided with the mighty dragon's head causing a cataclysmic explosion that reverberated through the air. *Boom*

The phantom of the dragon's head shattered into countless fragments, unveiling Ye Lan floating amidst the wreckage, his body marred by bloodstains and his once-black attire now soaked in a crimson hue.

*gasp* Laure watched in horror as Ye Lan was in danger and immediately sprang into action, flying into the air to assist. "BOSS!" she screamed and Zhao Tian glanced at her "Whore!" he muttered and the sword again appeared on his palm.

*sling* With a horizontal slash, the body of the woman from head to pussy was split in half and she doesn't even have time to react as her marred body fell on the ground.

"*cough* W-Why all of this?" Ye Lan asked writhing in pain and Zhao Tian spoke "Someone has hired assassins from your Organization to kill someone dear to me."

Ye Lan squinted his eyes "I see, I thought you were from the Government or something. *cough* The information is in the main room... if you want to know who is the client."

"Well, thank you!" *slick*

Zhao Tian landed on the Underground and seeing him the assassins tried to flee away again. *wooosh* But Zhao Tian didn't let them escape and continued killing the last one of them.

*tap* Walking through the dimly lit hallways, Zhao Tian scanned the main room with his Astral Sense. After a brief moment of exploration, he located the designated room and burst through the door with a forceful kick entering in.

Approaching the desk, Zhao Tian carefully examined the files that were neatly stacked on top. As he flipped through the documents, he noticed a large number of targets listed under Pending and Completed.

As his fingers turned the pages, his eyes caught the photo of Zhao Ying. He read through the details and saw the University address, even his home address there.

Then his eyes fell on the Client and his gaze narrowed "Fei Lingxi!" he muttered coldly.

In this world, the ones he mostly loves are his Mom and his Sister and he would go to any lengths for them, and now someone has tried to harm his loved ones, he won't let this slip away easily.

"Fei family!"
