I Became A System

Chapter 167 - Organization?

Every guard who was at the gate was taken aback, looking from afar. In the distance, a huge number of people emerged. Although they were not that huge, they were still alarmed as they all had tattered clothes.

They weren't alarmed by threats. In reality, they thought that maybe they were an expedition team that had failed a mission. But as soon as the group of 40 people got near the gate, they realized that these people were from Ellena's.

Ellena was now wearing her normal garments. Her A-line dress was just like what nobles and people who are wealthy commonly wear. And just after Ellena showed her identification to the guards, the guards immediately let them pass.

Rebecca was just as surprised like others. They didn't really think that their master had this authority in a city far away from her home. Though they don't know Ellena's real influence, they were now urged by their admiration again..

Their hearts were already burning. Looking at Ellena, couldn't resist the feeling of motivation. They all now want to prove themselves to the bones, even if they must put their lives on the line.

'Master was really influential in Phlabian City.'

"Uhm... can you get them to the inn? I'll head to the Murphey family to report this. Here's the money for the inn; buy their clothes as well. " Ellena asked the three.

Selena, Thalia, and Rosellete just nodded with smiles.

"Don't worry about them. Even though I was concerned that the inn might not be able to accommodate them all, I will simply take them to the other inn to rest. Please rest assured, Master."

"Thank you, Rosellete. I will now be going on my way," she said to them and left them as they went into an intersection of the streets.

'Uhm... Aaron, can you also follow them? I think you don't have to worry about me since this will be just fast.' Ellena said to Aaron.

"Why? I don't have that much help for them anyway."

'Well, I was thinking that you might want to rest. If you don't want, you can follow me.'

"Now that you told me that, I really wanted to take a rest. Then, I will be going on my way now." Aaron said and followed the direction of the other girls.

Deep inside, Ellena was thinking about how she could manage that huge number of people. She doesn't have any experience of managing a huge number of people, and even though she had that lesson in the past about governing, she is still not confident.

'I think buying a house is more effective than staying in an inn,' she thought.

'What a waste of money... Never mind, I can just earn it after I sell some of the materials I got from the cave.'

Ellena now went straight to the Murphey Residence. And as soon she was recognized, the guards assisted her to the Reporting Building.

Whaa... What should I do now? I think after I took a rest, there was something I wanted to do.

Well, it's not like I can inquire Ellena. She's still not here. Maybe the business with the Murphey family got prolonged. It's not a problem anyway. I should think about how we will manage this huge number of people.

Now that the number of people under Ellena has greatly increased, we need to prepare for how to properly build the foundation. This won't be a simple party for the adventurers' guild.

Will this be considered as a legion? I still don't know how legions operate, but this should be similar to an organization, right?

But organization... This means that Ellena needs a pillar of the organization. Or maybe I should not think of it first. Ellena can decide on this, and I'll just try to build some initial thoughts for the future.

I also remembered that there would be the next mission for Ellena. It's not actually a great mission; we just need to get some ingredients in a high-altitude place. What was it again? Morning Flower?...

That thing, I still don't know how to find it. Though I saw an image from the Wester Family when they showed it to Ellena, I can't still fully imagine it. If we take it, what's the proper method?

It's not like this information is something that could be easily known by normal people. I should visit a herbal shop or apothecary...

Let's go!

Oh, wait! It's not important for now! I should train Cules! But the time is a bit late now.

Hm... I think it's okay to go out for now. There are limited monsters that only appear at night. It's great if I can find some.

I should leave a note for Ellena.

Therefore, I wrote a note and left the inn, heading straight for the woods outside the city.

This feels like a trip for me. And I feel like I am the one who'll receive training. Though I decided to have Cules as my proxy, I can't just depend on his level. I need to raise him properly.

After finally getting my small pixie body into the woods, I started summoning Cules. And, as he usually does, he pounced on me with a lick.

I have already been smashed to the ground. But I don't feel anything that hurts. It was just my sense of vision was disrupted for a short time and then went back to normal.

It's weird.

"Groooh...!"

Cules is excited to see me again. Now that we'll have time together, I should treat him properly like my own child.

"Cules! Do you want to help Ellena?" I asked.

I think that he can understand me. Maybe the level of affection contributes to our understanding of each other.

"Goooh...?"

Hm... He is not that motivated to assist Ellena?

Urgh. I should teach my child to always be helpful. Ellena is everything! If she dies, I'll die too!

Well, I don't want to force my ideas on him. I'll just forget about it. Even though he's a summoned beast, I should give him some independence.

"Okay, I understand. But we still need to assist him. After some matters are settled, I will pursue having a physical body, so you'll help me okay?"

"Goooh!"

"Okay, good! Now, let's start training, shall we?"

And just after I said it, it was as if a flag had just been triggered. There was some growling that emerged from different directions.

It was monsters. It seems like they see Cules as an animal to hunt, huh?

I couldn't help to grin. It's time for a party!
