I Own EVERY Class in This World: Life Set to HELL Mode!

Chapter 258: Banish, The Mythical Skill

"Hm…" Stark crouched down as he took the first out of the three pieces of equipment he got from killing the two apostles.

Stark's fingers brushed over the first piece of equipment. He turned it over, inspecting its details.

[Item:] Shadowbinder's Cloak

[Type] Armor

[Class] Assassin, Magus

[Tier:] Legendary

[Required Level:] 150

[Quality:] Exquisite

[Attributes:] None.

[Special Perk:] Veil of Shadows - Grants the wearer temporary invisibility for five minutes, though your weapon will not disappear!

"Huh…" this was basically equipment that mimicked Reaper's [Shadow Veil] skill, the special perk clearly indicating that the weapon couldn't become invisible either.

Not from the [Domination] class, though, and the required level was extremely high.

Basically… it wasn't for him.

Next, he reached for the second piece, its surface glinting ominously.

[Equipment:] Reaper's Scythe

[Type:] Weapon

[Class:] Warrior, Assassin, Domination

[Tier:] Mythical

[Required Level:] 150 for other classes, 70 for domination

[Quality:] Perfect

[Attributes:] +2500 strength, +1000 speed

[Special Perk:] Death's Touch - When touching someone with this scythe, there is a chance to inflict a curse on them, thus massively reducing their defense.

"Oh," Stark rolled his eyes as he saw the weapon.

To be honest, he wasn't interested in it either.

Why?

Well…

~FWISH, SWING~

Even though he grabbed the handle and tried to swing, he just literally couldn't.

As said before, every [Domination] has their RESPECTIVE weapons, and so you couldn't try and use another type.

His weapons were his fists and magic, so the only way he would be able to get a blade was if a legitimate skill gave it to him, otherwise he couldn't.

Plus, for the first time ever, the [Required Level] was actually different, showing that any person from another class would need to be level 150 to wield it, while [Domination] only needed to be level 70.

Maybe it was the world trying to adjust because of how difficult it was to level up with domination?

In the end, it didn't matter, and Stark put it inside his [Spatial Inventory] as well, moving to the third and final item.

[Equipment:] Skull Face

[Type:] Helmet

[Class:] Warrior, Magus, Assassin, Archer, Soul Wielder

[Tier:] Epic

[Required Level:] 125

[Quality:] Bad

[Attributes:] None.

[Special Perk:] While wearing this skull on your head, you constantly spread out a dark aura around you, and if the enemy is weaker or easily overwhelmed, there is a chance they get the [Stun], [Fear] or [Confusion] status effects.

A fairly good item, though the quality was bad since it visibly had many cracks on it, possibly since Stark had done the same thing to Reaper.

But…

"…This is bullshit."

To be honest, Stark did expect that: all these items were related to the undead, meaning that [Exorcist] could automatically not be a class allowed to use them, since… y'know… they hate undead beings.

And [Domination] was a rare class with the percentage of getting an item being extremely rare anyway, plus he had indeed gotten one for the class, but it was just useless to him.

ONLY a [Domination] user can access a [Domination] item after all, which is why none of the other classes knew about it: it just didn't drop for them no matter what.

Could be useful for another [Domination] user though if they can wield weapons, who knows.

But now that his two rings were broken, he had no item except for the [Sculk Necklace], though to be honest, it didn't bother him that much, as having TOO many pieces of equipment would possibly make him forget about most of them.

He needed passive ones, much like [Purgatory Shadows] and [Crystalheart Band] since they didn't need for him to think about using them: they were always activated.

And as for why his rings broke… the sole possible explanation was that their durability had reached their limit.

Yes, every item/equipment does have a durability, and if it gets hit too many times, it automatically breaks, which is why people constantly change them.

"Well… doesn't matter," he took the [Skull Face] and put it inside his inventory void.

And then… all that was left for him to do, was to check the ApostleDex.

[You have completed an 'ApostleDex' task! Please open it!]

Feeling the excitement, Stark immediately opened it.

And so, the crimson quest-like window appeared before him.

[Godless Demon Apostles]

[5 killed, 10 remain]

In front of him was the same panel he had checked before, with the 15 squares, each depicting one of the apostles he needed to defeat, spread between 3 lines of 5 each.

Experience the best from m|v|l|e|mp|y|r

And the most surprising of all was… that first line was completed!

Stark couldn't see the other apostles inside the squares as all he got was their shadows, except for the [Crimson Moons Trio], obviously, who was set up in the 5th square of the second line, an Immortal-Level entity if he remembered right.

He had already met them once back at the rift where he killed [Judicator], so he could see their appearance, and it still brought chills to him.

The first line though, as said before, was completed with the five apostles.

And the order went like this: Malakar -> Judicator -> Sierra -> Lother -> Reaper.

Each of these apostles had their appearance associated to them on the squares, visible to Stark as he had already met up and beat them, plus he could click on them to make a profil appear with all their relevant information, like rank, level and skills.

It would have been great to know about their stories as well since he was still confused with all that 'Godless Demon Apostle' ordeal, but maybe that is for the next time…?

[Each of the apostles is actually placed in terms of strength, so the closer they are to the end, then the stronger they actually are as well!]

Another panel appeared, and this time it was actually very important information.

This meant that the first line, which Stark completed, actually held the five weakest apostles of the lot…

When he would reach the second line, most of them would be at the [Calamity] level, or even [Immortal], as the [Crimson Moons Trio] was actually the strongest apostle of the second line.

And when he reaches the third… oh boy… they would surely of the highest rank.

But then what?

Would he fight the [Godless Demon]? The final boss of this world?

"Huh…" Stark didn't know, so he quickly moved on.

[Only those that defeat ALL of the apostles will have the chance to meet and fight the 'Godless Demon']

[No one until now has ever accomplished that.]

[Be the first, Chosen One.]

And of course, to make him wanna do that, there were rewards.

[Upon defeating 5 of the apostles, you will receive a MYTHICAL reward!]

[Upon defeating 10 of the apostles, you will receive a GODLY reward!]

[Upon defeating 15 of the apostles, you will receive an IMMORTAL reward!]

He had completed the first line, which meant…

~DING~

[You have completed the first task!]

[Congratulations, you have a MYTHICAL skill!]

"Finally," Stark smiled.

After everything he went through, he had finally managed to complete a third of the ApostleDex.

Though… for some strange reason… he felt like he would meet and fight the rest of them much faster than before…

Anyway, he already knew three apostles waiting for him inside the [Devil's Abyss], and that the [Crimson Moons Trio] could be fought as he met them in one rift before.

Meaning that only 6 apostles remained unknown, and there was no saying if they didn't all just regroup together.

In the end, Stark decided to check that new [Mythical] skill he had acquired.

If it was as strong as EGO was, then surely he would become MUCH stronger, making Stark very excited.

[Do you want to receive your skill now?]

[Y/N]

'What kind of dumbass would put no…' he sighed as he taped on yes, and suddenly, the aura around him increased.

And then… a panel appeared.

[You have received the MYTHICAL skill: "Banish"!]

Stark noticed it, but the more powerful a skill was, the simpler its name was.

Maybe it was just a coincidence, but [Banish] sounded so powerful even though it was just a single word for no reason whatsoever.

Then… Stark checked the description, and his eyes widened once he did.

[Skill: Banish]

[Type:] Mythical

[Level:] Cannot be leveled up

[Description: When the user's feels that their aura surpasses that of an enemy, they can unleash Banish, as a result, both his and the opponent's auras clash in a violent surge of energy, a battlefield of ethereal power.

If the user's aura prevails, the enemy is instantly cast into the Void—death is certain and instant, no matter their level or remaining health.

Should the enemy's aura prove stronger, though, the user faces a stunning backlash, leaving them vulnerable to incoming attacks.]

[Condition: "The Void" skill is required.]

[Note: it can work on ANY enemy.]

"This is…" Stark's heart raced as he read the panel dozens and dozens of time, until he eventually knew about every word on it.

This skill was… amazing.

A high risk, high reward skill.

If he used it and overpowered an opponent, it could save his life as the opponent is immediately banished to the [Void], which is the skill he received mere minutes ago, but if his aura is weaker, then he is stunned, it was an incredibly fair deal.

"I guess that's what the void is used for, huh…" no wonder it was [Mythical] as well, though it needed other skills to be useful.

And so… Stark finished everything he needed to do.

"Time to get out," he mumbled.
