I, the Weakest Traveler, Start by Taming the gods of the Old World.

Chapter 120: Wizard, and demon lord.

Woooosh!

The huge carriage, being pulled by two horses, sped across the road. A man could be seen seated at the front, with three more men occupying the inside.

"Oi! Old man, move faster! She's gaining on us!!! Shit! Shit!" One of the men with a sword yelled, sweating heavily.

The old man whipped the horses, making them run even faster.

"Shit! Shit, shit! What's a member of the defense force doing all the way out here?!!! We're screwed!"

But their efforts were in vain.

Sinex was already gaining on them by foot.

Her mission was simple: track down the people trading demi-humans illegally and kill them all.

"Come on baeee~ don't make this any harder than it needs to be~"

She smiled sinisterly, her arm transforming into a blade before she stretched it towards the carriage with incredible speed.

The man in front was too late to react; the blade stabbed him in the throat, his mouth opening in pain as blood spewed everywhere.

Using the man as a hook, Sinex shot herself into the carriage, her body still in midair as the others began to attack with their swords.

"Awwwwww, all this for me? You shouldn't have!"

She grabbed the head of one of the gang members, her legs against the wall of the carriage as she began to rotate her body like she had no bones.

The others were driven by fear, watching as their partner's head was twisted off his neck, his body rolling off the moving carriage.

The carriage itself had begun to lose balance, and it didn't take long for it to fall off the hill and crash in the forest.

Pa! Pum… ta!

Sinex leaped from one tree to another before finally landing on the ground.

In front of her was the carriage, which had crashed to the side, with more than six men crawling out of it.

"I forget… was I supposed to kill all of them or just the criminals? Ehhh~" she puffed her cheeks. "Why didn't love make it clear?! Now I'm all confused!"

"Boss! Yes, please, you gotta be careful! She's one of the King's private soldiers. If she reports us—"

"You guys aren't thinking… that could work to our advantage."

"Huh?" Sinex looked ahead. Among the six men crawling out of the carriage was a man dressed in a robe, holding a strange-looking staff.

"Young lady, perhaps you'd like us to have a discussion," the robed man spoke, a small smile on his face.

Though she couldn't see his face, she could tell this wasn't someone she'd want to reason with.

"Yeah, no thanks. I'm not cheating on my love. Go away, creep."

She stretched her hand to the side, transforming it into a long blade before charging forward.

But as soon as she tried to strike the man, a barrier appeared. Her blade bounced off it, sending her backward.

Her feet slid on the ground for a while before she transformed her hand into a cannon blaster.

"That's not normal magic. Who would've thought…" Her cannon glowed as she frowned. "We'd have a wizard… in Camelot of all places."

The man grinned.

"Oh? You can tell that much just from my magic?" he spoke in a low tone.

"Huh? What are you, an idiot? You really are stupid, aren't you?"

A small vein popped on the man's head.

"Just how stupid are you? You used dark magic. Only wizards, witches, and demons can use that type of magic, and you're definitely not a demon, so you have to be a wizard." She replied.

And then — Bam!

She shot her cannon blast at them.

The man once again blocked it with his barrier, the rest of the gang hiding behind him.

'Tsk!' Sinex clicked her tongue.

"You're well informed. Not many remember what dark magic is, or its founders. I'm glad to see my people's legacy still lives on," the man smiled.

"Your people murdered half the population. Uhhhhhhh! I don't want to talk to you. Can you just die already?" Sinex groaned before firing another shot.

It bounced off the barrier.

"You seem like a wise girl, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and trust that you can make a good decision. Join me. The world is no longer what it once was. The blood of many stains the ground, and we want to bring in a new age of magic. My people will rise and become what they once were." The man stretched his arms apart.

"All of this can be accomplished by one means: we want to bring back the Demon King himself!"

Pfft! Hahahaha!

Sinex burst out laughing, leaning back against a tree as she rested her hand on her stomach.

"Wants to revive the Demon King? And you think he would answer to the likes of you? Come on, I know you're not smart, but this level of stupid should be illegal." Sinex wiped the tears from under her eyes.

"You mock us?" The man was getting annoyed.

"Yes, yes I do. And quite frankly, I'm getting tired of your bullshit. You're making this harder than it needs to be. Can't you just die and do the world a favor?"

"You're painfully naive. I shan't reveal my motives to you. If you're not going to take my offer, then I'll simply have to get rid of you. Can't have you reporting back to the King." The man pointed his staff at Sinex.

Sinex smiled. "Finally, about goddamn time!!!"

She went slow, watching as the rest of the gang drew their blades while standing behind the mage, though they were visibly terrified.

Just as she was about to launch—

"You fucking bitch!!! Why did you go off on your own?! If something happened to you, I'd be the one responsible!"

A woman yelled as she fell from the cliff, her body consumed with flames, with two other men falling beside her.

It was Gwin, the second member of the Round Table Knights.
