Chapter 355: Rendezvous with the Sleeping Beauty
...
Azmodeus feared neither pain nor death, and if that were the limit to which his repercussions would extend, then he would rather give it a shot and hope for loot.
There was also a certain pretty princess that he had to say… 'repay' for her extreme amount of kindness in their earlier encounters.
An evil smirk almost crept up Azmodeus's handsome face, but before it could, it was replaced by a deeply rooted coldness. While looking out the window as if the seasonal breeze would alter his future, he sat there and brooded. He thought about a great many things, one of which just so happened to be his purpose for revenge.
Wasn't revenge a thing for the petty and the weak?
Why would someone like him, who would surpass the target for his revenge, feel the urge to have something like a yearning for revenge? Wasn't that beneath him?
Well, the truth was that Azmodeus was petty. He was likely one of the most petty people in the entire world.
And even though small slights and inconsequential scoffs would be overlooked, those who dared play with his fate and control it. Well, people like that would serve a far more fulfilling purpose under the sharp end of his blade.
For loot, Azmodeus was willing to do whatever was necessary. And if that meant he had to discard his useless pride, then so be it.
Yes, he was a hypocrite. And yes, he was a paradoxical dipshit. But if things stayed consistently consistent about him, then it was his drive to acquire more benefits and, subsequently, loot.
As long as this forever remained the same, then it was doubtful that Azmodeus would ever truly change. Deep down, he would forever remain the same greedy person.
One whose greed knew no bounds. This was the fate of all who feverishly treaded the path of Infinite Evolution.

The days passed by, unnoticed by all in the Immortal Realm.
As everyone peacefully slept within their homes in the Grade 1 Everveil Kingdom, a stealthy shadow lingered in the night. Jumping from housetop to housetop like a fleeting shadow, his figure danced under the moonlit glow.
Before long, Azmodeus found himself right outside the Royal Everveil Castle. With his status as an S-Rank Immortal Hunter, he could've reached this place even during the daytime. However, it was rather his next destination that required him to make his move during the moonlit hour.
With a plan firmly laid down inside his mind, all Azmodeus had to do was follow through with what he envisioned.
Bing, Bing, Bing.
As his silent footsteps echoed throughout a limited space, he snuck past the Grade 3 Great Pinnacle Golden Immortal Realm guards stationed at the front of the castle. After bypassing all forms of security, Azmodeus found himself on top of the castle's westernmost tower.
This tower also just so happened to be the exact one that the Eldest Princess of the kingdom was staying in. It was usually heavily guarded and protected by cultivators at the peak of the Great Pinnacle Golden Immortal Realm. However, tonight, all of such influential experts were convening in a lavish underground room of the castle.
They were currently in the midst of discussing the most recent decrease in Immortal Beasts in the surrounding areas. With this causing their crops to grow uninterrupted, it was very unsurprising that they gathered to celebrate this joyous occasion.
Though they assumed leaving everyone unguarded would be fine for a single night, Azmodeus considered this a fortuitous event!
"With no one here, I have the highest chance of staying with my lovely princess without any bothers to interrupt our lovey-dovey time."
With his faint whispers acting as the prelude for what was about to come, Azmodeus leaped up the side of the Western Tower wall. Ascending the pristine white bricks of the tower, he eventually made it to the top.
Tap, Tap.
After landing on the cone-shaped shilling top, Azmodeus finally reached his destination. All he had to do now was slide right into the open window sill of the princess's room and say hello.
Doing just as his thoughts dictated, he made a few rather impossible-looking parkour moves and slipped in through the wide-open window. Upon arriving in the room, the first thing he looked at was the decorations.
'Well… She definitely lives up to her reputation as a princess atop her tower,' he thought awkwardly.
The place was all pink, with posters of knights and horses plastered all across the walls. Then there was the furniture, which was also all pink and most assuredly extremely expensive.
The whole room just screamed the word 'princess,' but for the ideal princess, she hid a deep darkness that none of this pinkness could possibly hope to repress…
Silence.
As Azmodeus stealthily walked around inside the pink room, he quickly gained sight of the target of this little expedition. "My dear princess," he silently muttered, an evil grin spreading across his devilish face.
Laying there without a care in the world, Yan Jie had her voluptuous body sprawled out on a bed large enough to fit dozens of people. The cultivation of this sleeping beauty was the Grade 9 Golden Immortal Realm, and for Azmodeus, this might as well have meant that she was absolutely helpless to stop what was about to happen.
Approaching the bed, Azmodeus looked over the sleeping beauty like a looming scythe of death. "Don't you think it's rather rude to be napping when a guest is over?" He asked, not expecting a response.
Following the lack of a response, Azmodeus outstretched his large hands and placed them over the face of the sleeping beauty. "Say, why won't you wake up," he asked. "Do you perhaps require something a little warm to get your body up and Adam...?"
Infusing fire immortal energy into his hand, he directed that same energy to his fingertips. Then, with a low flash of crimson light, he let the Fire immortal energy transfer over to the lovely Miss Princess.
"What is happening!?!? AhhhHHHH!!!"
