Chapter 206 Hold On Tight
Raymond turned into his average size, allowing Atlas to jump on the Stormeagle's back. He settled in as it took off with a massive flap of its wings and started soaring through the sky as it spoke, 'Master. You won't be able to summon me to the real world for a while as I'll use up too much of your mana.'
He was confused, but the monster explained, 'You have to be Master or above but that doesn't matter because you're growing strong, I can feel it.'
Atlas nodded as the two traveled through the Chaos Realm, where Atlas saw Titans and Monarch-ranked monsters fighting below. Large booms rang out as the creatures, causing Raymond to fly higher as he ranted, 'Always fighting. It gets boring after a while.'
Hours passed, and another mountain came into view. The monster landed with a crash, causing Atlas to gaze up where the peak pierced the clouds, 'What is this? The way out of this place?' he thought.
He jumped off Raymond's back before activating the Otherworld portal the Stormeagle stepped through while speaking, 'Be careful on your climb, Master. It's dangerous, but I know you can do it.'
After the monster entered the portal, Atlas started climbing up the mountain, and thunder boomed around him as he reached the peak. A little while later, he reached the top and saw a metal door in the middle of the area.
'What the hell? That's random,' he thought before approaching it.
When Atlas got close, the metal key appeared from his storage and flew into the lock. A click was heard, and the door opened, causing him to get excited. However, as he went to rush forward, a sharp pain shot through him.
He dropped to the ground as a notification popped up. [The Void Orb is deactivated until you attain the rank of Arch Master. Its mana consumption and overwhelming power exceed your current body's capacity, especially outside the Chaos Realm]
Moments later, the Void Orb deactivated and vanished into his Dimensional Storage, surprising him. It wasn't long before the weight of the situation sank in—he'd have to fight with only one arm once more.
'Oh fuck! Now I'll be useless again,' he thought as depression started to take over, but he shook his head. 'I'll just train myself. I must learn to fight without magic or my Regeneration if anything happens.
With his mindset, Atlas rose to his feet, only to be caught off guard by a sharp jolt of pain. The phantom sensations radiating from his stump irritated him, a constant reminder of his loss.
He shook his head and stepped through the door only to appear on the Tenth Floor of the Siren's Abyss Dungeon. Atlas was taken by surprise but quickly activated Aqua Lung and summoned Medusa.
When the azure portal opened, a monster lunged at him from behind a nearby boulder that Atlas dodged and sliced down its side with Nightblade. Blood poured into the water as the Death Serpent tore into the new foe.
Atlas cleared some space and scanned the monster using Void Sight.

[Use magic against it]
'Stronge,' he thought with a growing smile before looking at the creature's tail. 'I'll attack it from the rear while Medusa does her thing.'
Atlas dashed forward and stabbed into the Sea Snake's tail before ripping at the flesh. The monster released a pain-filled roar, allowing the Death Serpent to trap it even more. Once the battle ended, Medusa looked at him with red eyes and spoke concernedly, 'Why have you only got one arm now? What happened down there?'
He chuckled while waving his stump and explaining, 'Oh something called a Chaos Mawling bit me and injected something into me causing me to lose my arm.'
Medusa looked shocked but nudged his body while letting out a love-filled hiss, making Atlas smile. He stroked the caring monsters before they started traveling through the dungeon while he made more of an effort to use his speed and blades,
While doing this, the Death Serpent asked in a baffled tone, 'Why ain't you using magic Master?'
Atlas cut down several Sirens while bobbing and weaving around the creature's claws. He felt himself growing tired compared to when he used Void Step. After fighting, he turned to Medusa and answered, 'I can't keep relying on spells to fight; what happens if I get stuck in a realm that blocks my magic?'
The monster nodded her head before the two continued until reaching Floor Fifteen, where the first Sub-Boss was. Atlas stepped into the underwater colosseum and glanced around, only to see that the sea had claimed the arena.
'I wonder what monster I'll be fighting now,' he mused as the excitement boiled up inside him.
Soon enough, a massive shadow loomed over Atlas and Medusa. He glanced up and startled a giant shark, immediately scanning it.

[Use speed, boy! She's like a gold digger chasing a rich guy—won't stop until she's got her teeth in your bony behind!]
Atlas chuckled at the advice as the shark spun around to face them. Medusa shot forward like a rocket, aiming for the massive creature. The shark lunged to bite her, but the Death Serpent expertly dodged and retaliated by sinking her fangs into the monster's flesh.
'Death by a thousand cuts!' he thought while the monster's blood poured out like a waterfall.
Seizing the moment, Atlas activated Void Step, appearing on the queen shark's head like a crazy acrobat. He began striking it wildly, but the shark quickly shook him off, swinging its tail with a ferocious swipe that sent him crashing down to the arena floor.
'That hurt,' Atlas thought as his head spun, but his Regeneration soon kicked in, helping him regain his footing.
Once he was upright, he cast Void Blast beneath himself. The surge propelled him through the water, crashing into the Queen Shark and slicing across her side. The creature let out a furious roar of pain, echoing through the arena.
With Atlas's relentless strikes and Medusa's constant biting, the massive shark began to slow down. Seizing the opportunity, Atlas leaped onto its back once more, driving his blade deep into its skull.
The creature went berserk due to the sudden pain, 'I better hold on tight!'
It shook off the Death Serpent in its frenzy, whipping her with its tail while Atlas clung on for dear life. After that, he used one spell because he could not damage it enough with Nightblade.
'I need to use magic with this monster.'
Atlas quickly cast Void Bomb into the Queen Shark's body and, when it exploded, caused it to turn into meat chunks. He was sent flying, but Medusa quickly caught him before he flew into the darkness below.
'That was close. I would have found myself in another chasm with creepy bugs,' he thought while holding onto the Death Serpent as she swam back to the arena.
When he arrived, Atlas cast Aqua Lung as he collected the glowing purple Monster Core that lit up the surrounding area. He also found a pile of gold coins and a silver key that caught his attention.
'Another boss room key?'
After that, Atlas jumped on Medusa's back and continued through the dungeon, killing any monsters they encountered. Thanks to the Death Serpent growing in strength along with him, she could deal with most creatures.
While traveling through the twenty-second floor, they encountered a new monster that ambushed them from above. Thanks to Nightblade being strong, he deflected a bite before using Void Blast on the newcomer.
As this happens, Atlas uses Void Sight on the monster to see its name as they look like creatures from Earth's past.
[Tempestfin Plesiosaurus]
[Rank: B+ - 1000]
[Be careful, boy, or they will bite your little worm]
When Atlas read the advice, his face went red as he raged, 'What the fuck is that! Don't you dare any devious plans, Nyx!'
He activated Void Guard just as another Tempestfin slammed into him. The azure barrier shimmered, absorbing the impact. Without wasting time, he drove Nightblade into the creature's skull, causing it to go lifeless as more enemies swarmed in.
'Here we go again,' Atlas thought while casting a Void Lance through a bigger one and tore it apart.
Medusa let out a furious roar and went wild, tearing into another opponent with savage ferocity. Atlas hovered in place, bracing himself for the next attack. Suddenly, a Tempestfin crashed into him from behind.
The monster sank its teeth into him, but his armor absorbed most of the bite, sparing him from severe damage. Atlas stabbed behind him and managed to pierce its skull just as he cast Void Wave to clear some space.
The two of them battled the Tempestfins as more appeared from the darkness around them. Medusa quickly tore through them as Atlas cut their fins off, leaving them flopping around in the water.
Soon enough, all the monsters were dead. Atlas grabbed hold of the Death Serpent after collecting all the cores before they continued through the dungeon and avoided any more ambushes from the creatures lurking in the darkness.
