Receiving the three's attention, Tang Ziyi carried on, introducing the vehicles. "I suppose no one is interested that much in the vehicle's original specifications. Let's go to the modifications."

Even though Ling Qingyu had no ideas and nothing here was related to her, she was interested.

"Jaguar Vehicle, sedan class, XF model." Tang Ziyi pointed out devices on the dashboard.

Pointing at the collective buttons with various numbers labeled, Tang Ziyi pressed one of them. Ling Qingyu reckoned these numbers represented codes used by the police.

According to Tang Ziyi's explanation, these were for the siren lights and sounds. Based on the user's choice, they could change the color of the lightbar and LED strobes—blue, yellow, red, or combinations.

Yang Qingyue pressed them, listening to Tang Ziyi's instruction. She could observe within the vehicle, lights flickering nonstop. Red, Blue, or a combination of both.

When she tried the sirens sound, a loud wail echoed across the hall. Tang Ziyi guided her to the buttons on the steering wheels.

"Initially, you know these buttons are for luxury purposes and after fixing these, you can change the tone, try it." Tang Ziyi said.

Yang Qingyue did as told, listening to wails changing to yelps, two tones and rumblers. Like a child having a new toy, she pressed everything.

Merely having siren functions had exceeded their police force in terms of wealth and equipment. Yang Qingyue shook her head in dismay.

"It's better to be LED lights than our conventional Halogen ones in the police force." Yang Qingyue sighed.

"It's true. Halogen causes unnecessary heating and can't be turned on for a long time. LED lights are simple and effective." Tang Ziyi voiced her thoughts. "Alright, let's go to the next one. This is the PED computer, which you can access to the police database."

Tang Ziyi drew out the small folded laptop or tablets with keyboards already embedded inside the board; Ling Qingyu had no idea. Everything seemed so new as this was her first time to experience what was inside a police vehicle though these were her cars.

The PED didn't take up too much space, sufficient for the task. Even phone stands were fixed on the dashboard for the officers to put their equipment on.

Yang Qingyue's eyes brightened as if she had already seen the scenes her officers had easier access and saved time to complete the job.

Listening to Tang Ziyi's guidance, Yang Qingyue saw a radar gun equipped to enforce speeding laws, attached to the vehicle to check others. The most intriguing part was the two spotlights above the side mirrors.

As Tang Ziyi taught how to control one from the co-pilot side, Yang Qingyue learned easily. It could rotate 360 degrees except being limited by the car itself.

These spotlights didn't need the officers to be on foot to scan around at night patrol, increasing efficiency and reducing the officer's risk.

Tang Ziyi also admitted she took inspiration from Country A's police fleet. Yang Qingyue lamented as expected of Country A.

A small upgrade had brought huge convenience for the police force. And the surprising part was these were just a few during modifications.

Tang Ziyi stepped out and let Yang Qingyue open the trunk. The group studied the trunk space. "We didn't modify anything here except the storage places for cones and medkits. The rest you can keep modifying."

Tang Ziyi patted the doors and knocked on the windows. "The doors are bulletproof and can withstand a small caliber. For a larger caliber, inside this door, kevlar is put in. As for the windows, they're similar, except that it's one-way bullet glass, which means the officer inside can shoot through the glass from inside but bullets from outside will be stopped.

Another glass layer is also there to prove increased protections."

"That's a great innovation," Cai Ning said. Yang Qingyue nodded, seeing the implications and how the deadly situation could change with Tang Ziyi's modification.

Like a veteran car salesman, Tang Ziyi introduced every specs and utility. "If you want to bring more space for better storage or provide shelter for K-9 units, you can modify in the wagon and SUV yourself. I'm not going to show these cars to you because they undergo the same process."

Yang Qingyue and Cai Ning nodded in understanding. From the interior to the exterior, the topic went.

Ling Qingyu knew police fleet modifications weren't simple and as expected, the engine had been replaced with a more powerful one. The chassis underneath had been strengthened to cope with increasing weight due to modifications.

The replaced wheels had better tractions and capabilities. A supercharger was included to enhance the acceleration rate for the heavy vehicle to keep up during pursuit.

Tang Ziyi stated, it could go from 0 to 100 km/hr within 4-5 seconds. That was a damn acceleration rate for the upgraded vehicle.

In addition, the ample battery source must be high enough to support high energy consumption.

Of course, last but not least, Tang Ziyi showed everyone the intercom system to speak with the public from the microphone loud and clear.

Yang Qingyue and Cai Ning were lost for words as they surrounded the vehicle again and again.

"How much do these modifications cost?" Yang Qingyue asked finally, with a complicated expression.

When Tang Ziyi thought for a while and gave an answer, both officers gasped. Even Ling Qingyu gasped though she knew it would never cost so expensive with Athena's help.

But what Tang Ziyi mentioned was the market price and the number was a friendly number, calculating only the expenses.

Outside, who knew how much they would increase to gain profits from modifying the police fleet? Ling Qingyu now understood why some countries didn't go through modification at all.

"Why don't you drive around our residence to taste what's it like to be inside?" Tang Ziyi suggested.

Yang Qingyue nodded and got in. This time, Yang Qingyue and Cai Ning took the front seat.

After Ling Qingyu and Tang Ziyi sat in the backseat, Yang Qingyue pushed the start button.

"I almost forgot. It's not important but vital for officers on the scene when they left the vehicle." Tang Ziyi remembered the key important upgrade after seeing the ignition.

"If you stretch your hand underneath and a little further, you'll grasp some kind of key, which you'll pull it off when you park the police vehicles and allow the vehicles' function to turn on while you can go do your stuff without worrying someone stealing your vehicle."

Yang Qingyue tried and sensed a metallic structure. She pulled out the key and looked at Tang Ziyi, who nodded back. She tried to move gears or steering wheels. All failed without notions.

This key was the lock to allow the police officer to park with the car engine turned on without fearing someone would rob the vehicle.

"To be honest, the electronic button ignition method complicated this system. If it is a key ignition, simply press the locks and remove the keys. But the process is the same." Tang Ziyi added.

"I never knew there were so many complexities and puzzles hidden inside a simple police car." Ling Qingyu said while in deep thought.

Ling Qingyu watched the two policewomen tweak with the vehicles for a while until they began to drive out the way they came in.

Tang Ziyi didn't forget to describe the vehicles' remaining functions, such as a 360-degree monitoring camera to weave through congested space and a GPS system which was upgraded to connect with the police control center if needed.

In fact, Tang Ziyi could finish them and deliver the ready-made product but it was better for the police system to be handled by the police force itself.

Ling Qingyu advised the software which could simplify the police work and reduce unnecessary energy, promising she could come up with a product upon request.

Yang Qingyue and Cai Ning didn't express refusal to test out Ling Qingyu's mentioned integrated control system among their units.
