Chapter 309: Chapter 309: In the end, You and Ye Qilan are no Different_1

Su Hongxing struggled to escape, but Beichuan pinned her onto the bed.

She sought to protect her body, but Beichuan wished to claim it; and so, the two were entangled in a fierce struggle.

Su Hongxing’s strength gradually left her, and she watched helplessly as Beichuan tore her clothes off. The sight overlapping with a memory from her past life.

She gave up the struggle and mustered a faint, mocking smile. “Beichuan… you and Ye Qilan are not any different after all,” she said.

Whether in the past life or the present, they never changed.

In her past life, knowing she married Ye Qilan, Beichuan still wanted to bed her. In this life, he continued to obsess over her body.

Exhausted in body and heart, she closed her eyes out of fatigue…

Su Hongxing’s laugh sent Beichuan into disarray. He grabbed her chin, growling low, “Su Hongxing, don’t think playing dead can save you from being taken by me…”

When he touched her ice-cold skin, it felt like that of a corpse. Her face pale as a ghost, and forehead slicked with a cold sweat.

Beichuan finally noticed something wrong with Su Hongxing. He gently patted her face, “Su Su, don’t scare me. Wake up…”

Unfortunately, no matter how much he called out, Su Hongxing had no response.

He hastily readjusted her clothes, carried her out, and rushed her to the hospital as quickly as possible.

Just as the frantic doctor arrived, Su Hongxing awoke. Smelling the stinging scent of disinfectant and seeing she was in a hospital, she labored to sit up and hoarsely spoke, “I’m fine. I want to go home…”

“Su Su, you are ill. Let the doctor check you out, and I’ll take you home after they finish. Please cooperate.”

Beichuan tried to pull Su Hongxing back, but she glared at him fiercely. “I already told you that I’m not ill. Are you deaf or what?!”

Beichuan was taken aback by her fierce gaze, involuntarily stepping back. “At least let the doctor check — can’t you stop being so difficult? Can a check-up kill you?”

But Su Hongxing ignored him, simply leaving on her own.

Muttering a low curse, Beichuan followed right behind Su Hongxing. “Has anyone ever told you how stubborn you are?”

Stubborn enough to make him want to strangle her!

Su Hongxing couldn’t stand the smell of the hospital; her chest felt heavy and her breathing, ragged.

Beichuan watched as Su Hongxing suddenly sprinted away. He didn’t know what triggered it. Following her, he saw her run into the restroom.

He was just about to follow her in when Su Hongxing yelled at him, “This is the woman’s restroom, get out!”

Seeing Su Hongxing glaring at him fiercely, he had no choice but to step back out, waiting for her outside.

Nearly ten minutes passed before Su Hongxing finally emerged, dragging her heavy steps.

“Su Su, what on earth is wrong with you? Why won’t you see the doctor if you’re sick?” Seeing Su Hongxing’s wraith-like appearance, he felt a pang of worry.

Just before, he wanted to force himself on her when she was sick. The little trust they had established was probably ruined by his own hands then?

He could not understand why he harbored such deep obsession over Su Hongxing. Perhaps it was due to his dreams, firm in his belief that he and Su Hongxing were destined to be together, so he wanted her this much.

Su Hongxing took a deep breath, looking directly at Beichuan. “I’m not good enough for you. From now on, pretend you don’t know me. Beichuan, don’t let me interfere with your life anymore. You’re the Young Master of the Bei Family, capable of picking up and letting go things easily. It’s not worth wasting your time on someone like me.”

After she said that, she walked away, not looking back once.
