Chapter 85: Buy a Dress
When creating a company, initial capital should always be included so that the company can be categorized by level.
This is only for the initial stage. As long as the minimum limit is met, the next things can be solved easily.
As far as David knew, investment companies required a larger capital, but it should only be around 1 Million Euros.
Since he personally didn't hold any money, only a card that could be used to continuously withdraw money, so he couldn't think of what the initial capital for this company should be.
It depended on Jane because she was basically the one who wanted him to set up the company and all the capital came from her.
Before David could look at Jane, she had already said it.
"Write 1 Billion Euros," she said in a calm tone, with no ripples at all.
It was a good thing that no outsiders heard that because her words could practically blow everyone's minds.
Of course, it was enough to shock David and Bennett. Bennett's hand was even shaking so much that his pen almost fell off.
Such a figure was still too big from his point of view even though he had a huge fee as a lawyer.
He would be surprised if the people talking about it were people his own age. The problem this time was that he was hearing it from a young woman who was probably only 18 years old.
Although he knew Jane's background well and how much money her family had, he wasn't so sure if Jane really held 1 Billion Euros that could be transferred to the company's account.
No, this company belonged to David, not Jane, why was Jane talking? Is Jane the one who will give the funds to David?
In the end, Bennett looked at David, asking for his opinion.
David was indeed very surprised, but he did not show his surprise excessively. He mostly looked calm.
This kind of thing would not be a burden to him.
As Bennett looked at him, David nodded at him, signaling him to follow Jane's words.
Since David had already nodded, Bennett could only write 1 Billion Euros in the company's capital amount.
He didn't really think about the reaction of the Business Department officials later. If they asked, he would just have to say that this involved super-rich people who didn't think highly of 1 Billion Euros.
After finishing writing, Bennet tidied up all the documents.
"I'll make sure it's all done today, but it might not be finished until the afternoon," he said.
Jane nodded to him as she replied, "when it's done, call Lisa, she'll take care of the rest."
Bennett probably didn't have Jane's contacts himself, and Jane wouldn't give them to him. He would have to contact Lisa first if he wanted to contact Jane.
"Alright," Bennett replied before standing up. He seemed to be going upstairs to this department again.
After he left, David said to Jane, "if this news leaks out, I'm afraid I'll face jealousy from many parties."
"Are you afraid?" replied Jane with a question, giving David a teasing smile.
"Not in the least," David replied, grabbing her wrist. "You are mine including everything you have. If anyone is jealous, then they can die with it. Only a fool would be jealous of someone else's good fortune."
"You seem to be getting cocky, huh, David?" said Jane after hearing David's words.
David did not dispute that, nor did he feel the need to introspect himself for being arrogant.
"Now where do we go to spend the day?" he asked, changing the subject.
He asked because he thought it would be inappropriate for them to go to the university now that they had practically missed one class.
"Honestly, I don't have any plans for this day," Jane replied. "Yeah, how about we go to look for a dress."
"A dress?" David was confused as to why Jane suddenly wanted to find a dress.
"Tonight, there's also a party I want to go to with you. I need a dress because I don't have any in stock in this town," Jane replied.
"And what party is that?"
Personally, David had no experience with parties although he knew there were many in the city every night. Rich people from different nations sometimes came to celebrate their success by throwing a party.
It was just that, considering Jane was too far above, so David wondered if this was the party of an elite equal to her.
"It's just an engagement party," Jane replied without going into details.
"I see, well, let's find a dress for you," David replied.
After that, they finally left the Business Department, using David's BMW.
They went to a fashion area with many luxury clothing stores.
This was not an area David had ever been to because before this, he had thought coming to this area was just a nonsense before having a large amount of money.
In addition to famous brand stores, there were also many boutiques of famous designers. Their stores looked very exclusive, as if they would only receive guests from the royal family.
From the looks of it, their stores seem to be frequented by members of the royal family.
There were probably no boutiques more prestigious than those in this area in all of Europe.
David sees visitors from various countries, mostly women in their 30s. Their aura of wealth was so obvious that it gave the impression of being dazzling.
"Let's go to that boutique!" Jane pointed to a boutique with the name L&J.
David didn't know what the name meant, as far as he could see, the boutique only stocked women's dresses.
From all the dresses, he found one thing in common, they all turned out to be off-shoulder dresses with tight waists.
Would Jane want to wear such a dress for tonight? David wondered.
If she wore one of those dresses, David couldn't imagine how charming she would be.
David then parked his car in front of the boutique.
He and Jane got out of the car simultaneously, immediately getting stares from the boutique's employees.
They were all women with a professional style, wearing long black pants and very neat suits.
When David and Jane walked into the boutique, the employee by the door greeted them saying, "welcome to L&J Boutique, miss, sir, is there a dress you would like? We have various types of off-shoulder dresses. We can also design a new dress especially for you."
The employee's eyes were fixed on Jane as she said the last sentence.
She scanned Jane's figure from top to bottom and then added with a faint smile, "You are very beautiful, miss. I think all the dresses fit your perfect body perfectly."
The employee's praise was clearly not just to please Jane and get her to spend. Her admiration for Jane's figure could be seen in her eyes.
