Now with the obviousness that something was wrong with my existence in this seemingly digital world, could this power be related to the redacted ability that I possessed in my biography tab?

Well, back to the internet.

Albeit lacking any kind of real identity, and an actual email, I was able to fully navigate the sea of information through the very same search engine that I was familiar with before I got murdered by an unknown entity and transported here.

From the grand library of videos to the degenerate and toxic-spawn of social media, my hands weaved the floating holographic keyboards that registered the input from the touch of my fingers.

And with the literal internet connected to the back of my brain, I was also able to access the real timeline of events.

Today was the 15th of October, 2030.

The day I decided to grab a victim for unmasking, and the day of my possible disappearance from the real world, was 12th of October, 2025.

Five years had actually passed in the real world.

I searched my name and there was no news about it anywhere on the internet.

There was no news about the finding of a serial killer who rips the face of innocent people every month, nor was there any news about the dead body of a terrifying paranormal creature riddled with stabbing wounds.

"My name wasn't even on any watchlist or list of deceased…"

I tried making any kind of email, but I failed to do so because the registration process now required an intensive submission of phone numbers and proof of identification documents.

"Why so much requirement?? Isn't making an email supposed to be as easy as typing your first and last name before??"

Without any method of making an account on a social platform, I couldn't connect back to my acquaintances.

Not to mention, my family and siblings, especially my oldest sister, was very keen on not meddling with any sort of social media.

The only concrete clue about them were the phone numbers that I couldn't interact with unless I also had one.

And there was also a chance that they already got a new one, making my only clue about contacting them back to obsolete.

"It felt as if I had just been erased from that world…"

The depressing realization aside, I also managed to progress in filling the shitty holes that were left by the inconsistent info dumps that I received.

I was able to enter the official website of the VRMMO that I'm currently in, alongside what kind of game that I'm currently in.

It might be quite confusing to someone who read the timer as '10 hours left until dusk' while it was still in the brightest broad daylight of the moment, which passed far from morning.

Well, that was because the cycle of a day was 48 hours instead of the usual 24 hours.

The length of the daytime and nighttime respectively was 24 hours, meaning that the people of this world slept two deep-sleeps a day to maintain a healthy body.

"If there is no time fluctuation between this world and the real world, then it would be safe to say that this world is designed so that the player can cycle through the daytime and nighttime experience one day each."

With the night time being predominantly filled with something called Random Events and Calamity Objects, it seemed that the developer wanted their players to have one whole day to prepare and one whole day to go through the adversity.
