-----------------------------------
'Ohh, what a pleasant surprise' Thea thought before inspecting her two titles.
[Divine Beast-kin: One of the rare, holy beast-kins with the power to rule over all beasts and beast-kins alike. |Effect: Receives more status points per level up and is immune against all crowd control effects.|] [Locked]
[Sealed: Due to world rules, no two Fenrir's can be in power at the same time. Unless the existing Fenrir in power dies or a balancing amount of mana is injected into the seal at once, it will not become undone. |Necessary Mana: 3333| |Effect: Fenrir race exclusive skills will be locked, [Divine Beast-kin] title bonuses will be locked and stats will remain half of their true value.|]
'Wow, I wasn't expecting that The [Divine Beast] title bonuses are pretty insane but too bad she has the seal on her. At the moment I can't get rid of it yet but that won't take long. I could just kill the other existing Fenrir' Thea's thoughts started getting darker and darker until she felt a small hand on her arm.
"-ea? Thea? What are you thinking about? Your expression was becoming pretty scary, anyways it's our turn now." Nala said as she innocently looked up at Thea.
"Nothing. Don't worry about it, I just remembered I have to pick someone up in the afternoon." Thea half lied, as she had just remembered she had to pick up Mel and her mother.
The two then walked up to the counter where a young woman wearing thick glasses was sitting.
"Good morning girls, can I get your names?" The young lady behind the desk asked with a friendly smile.
"I'm Nala, a commoner from the south-west district." Nala said with a serious expression.
The lady behind the desk continued to wear her smile and flipped through the papers in front of her before she stopped.
"You selected dungeon exploration, monster theory and summoning magic classes, is this correct?" The lady asked as she looked at Nala who simply nodded in response. The lady with the thick glasses then suddenly got up and walked over to 7 different shelves, taking a book from each. She then walked back to the desk with a pile of books in her arms and handed them over to Nala.
"Here are your books, please do take care of them, as you will be expected to return them at the end of the year. If anything happens to your books you will be held responsible alright?" The desk lady warned but in a friendly way.
Nala nodded and carried her books. Instead of waiting to leave the room, she first waited for her new 'friend'.
"Name?" The receptionist asked again with the same friendly smile.
"Althea Ewald." Thea answered in a friendly way, purposefully ignoring the shocked expression she saw on Nala's face in the corner of her eyes.
"Ohh, you are the number 1 student this year. Scoring 100 points on both exams isn't easy, but don't let this fool you, make sure to properly study for your subjects. Just to check, you did choose: dungeon exploration, alchemy and summoning magic classes, right?" The bespectacled lady asked to which Thea nodded.
Just like with Nala, the lady got up and took out 7 books before handing them to Thea, who then put them in her inventory. She gave her the same warning she gave Nala, Thea thanked her before walking over to Nala.
"Shall we meet up with the other girls and eat lunch?" Thea asked as she patted the pale Nala's head.
"Y-Your a noble? A-and you are the number 1 student of the year? I-I'm sorry about what I said about nobles before." Nala quickly apologized.
"Ohh don't worry about that. Up until a few days ago I lived in a small cabin in the woods with my mommy. You can speak your mind all you want about those nobles, I really don't care." Thea said with a bright smile as she scratched Nala behind her big fluffy ears.
When Nala heard this, color returned to her originally pale face before she nodded and enjoyed the scratches Thea gave her.
'She must come from a ruined noble's house, but I swear I've heard of the name Ewald from somewhere' Nala thought, but every thought left her head as those godly hands scratched her head.
Thea scratched the small wolf-girls ears a little longer before she put Nala's books in her inventory and walked towards the cafeteria to meet up with Mia and the twins.
