NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 308: Desperate Battle

Chapter 308: Desperate Battle

"He can turn them into his pets amazing player!" the mayor couldn't help but say.

"He seems like those dark players," one of the elites around the mayor said, "we should get rid of him."

"Are you stupid?" the mayor shouted at once, "he is using the dark forces against each other. If he was one of them then he wouldn't be killing them and saving our necks!"

"But" the NPC looked hesitant, "he is still a dark player!"

"Dark or light player who cares," the mayor laughed, "as long as he puts his sword under my service then I'll gladly accept him."

The mayor's words were met by absolute silence while Bloom noticed the gazes coming from the mayor's group direction. "Are they thinking about hitting me or what?" he sneered, "anyway if they didn't behave well then I won't be polite either."

As he went deeper and was now surrounded by far stronger monsters, he wasn't worried about using one of his most lethal skills.

"Shade doppelganger festival!"

The next moment twenty-nine clones appeared around him, all were holding swords and the bow. "Go, grab yourselves pets and let's go towards the distant fat meal."

Bloom sat his gaze upon those gigantic skeletons moving still towards him. He wanted to turn as many of them into his pets as possible.

"Let's see so they don't consume anything from my dark points amazing."

He kept tracking his dark points wealth while his clones kept turning hundreds of monsters into their pets in no time. "But that means I won't be able to hold these after they vanish," he understood the price he had to pay for that.

"Alright, I should keep my boys behind theirs, after all their pets would eventually vanish alongside them," he started to order his pets to retreat slightly while his clones' pets kept taking the pressure from the front.

"He is strong," the mayor couldn't help but laugh, "he alone can face this army and crush them."

The mayor's words weren't met by any agreement from his main warriors. After all they all despised anything related to dark camp, players or monsters alike.

As for Bloom, he started to get deeper than the mayor and his forces. He was as the mayor described, one man army who couldn't be stopped at all.

He was surrounded with dense layers of pets which kept killing any skeleton coming near them. "Go and grab any loot," he didn't forget to order his clones to collect gold coins, gears, materials, and anything that would fall from these skeletons.

And from what he could see, the amount of the loot falling off these monsters was simply huge.

"Anything won't be wasted," he laughed while thinking of the huge money he wanted to amass, "at least I won't lose much while not attacking any caravan in this town."

He decided not to hijack any caravan here. He admired this town and he had other plans for it and its forces.

In half an hour, Bloom finally got so close to these gigantic skeletons and could now see them clearly. They had thick black bones with green luster around their bones.

They were like gigantic Golams, with nothing else but brutal strength and very high defense as their main traits. Their heads were so big that they could crush the town gate alone if they pumped it into the gate directly.

And they had a dozen thick and short legs that made their moves look strange to Bloom.

"You are mine," Bloom didn't even wait for these monsters to arrive as he started to reuse his bow once again.

The first monsters he hit weren't affected much, which startled him. "Damn! Bigger monsters need more arrows then? More dark points?" he didn't stop releasing his arrows while counting the ones falling on each monster.

"It's ten then," after hitting each monster with ten arrows, it started to turn into his pet. "And each took twenty thousand dark points to turn not bad," he noticed how much these monsters took from his dark points wealth.

"Let's turn all into pets, all!" he didn't hold back anymore and started to rain those close to the monsters with his arrows. Those turned into pets started to attack others around, stopping many from advancing.

Yet some managed to bypass him and clashed with his clones' pets.

"Damn! They are ferocious!" Bloom wasn't worried or sad by this clash, instead he was excited. "Like this the fight at the fort would turn easier now," he couldn't help but laugh as he planned to use all these gigantic skeletons in the upcoming war of his fort.

"Fan out your pets," he shouted as his clones, "don't let a single gigantic skeleton bypass me!"

Despite his strong movement, he was limited by the small area covered with his pets. These gigantic Golams were all over the battlefield, and that meant he would miss a lot of them if he didn't stop them all.

His bow worked like a machine gun, yet he was limited by the fact each monster needed ten arrows to be turned into a pet.

Per his orders, the large army of pets started to spread fast, crushing many weak skeletons and getting crushed by those gigantic ones.

Yet this move helped in stopping many in their tracks, and Bloom didn't delay to send his arrows to turn them into his pets.

"I need to run along the battlefield then," he noticed his arrows would take some time to cross large distances and even many lost their momentum and couldn't hit their marks.

But when he glanced around he knew such a task was slightly impossible now. He was literally in the heart of this grand army, surrounded by an endless stream of weak skeletons.

"I can't move freely then, what a regret," he shook his head while accepting this result, "I hope I can get enough after this fight."

As he stopped moving and focused on turning as many Golams into pets, the army of skeletons finally regained their momentum and clashed with the far to the back mayor and his forces, and even started to attack the town walls.

"Even with this crystal, fighting this large army seems hard," Bloom noticed the town walls getting some damage and even the gate seemed to be cracked under the relentless attacks of the skeletons.

The town walls were filled with mostly NPCs and few players. Despite all their efforts to kill the monsters, they couldn't overcome the large number coming at the walls.

"I hope you have another trick up your sleeve," Bloom turned towards the mayor who was very absorbed in killing everything around. He was courageous yet his courage alongside his elite cavalry seemed not enough at all.
