Jiang Hao paused, a knowing smile spreading across his face.
“Is it Jia Renyi?”

Jiang Hao's smile turned enigmatic.
“Jia Renjie's been incapacitated by my itching powder; he's out of commission. That leaves Jia Renyi as the obvious choice.”
Xue Zixi's voice carried a note of trepidation.
“Mr. Jiang, could this be a trap, like the Hongmen Banquet?”
“Should I decline their request on your behalf?”
Jiang Hao dismissed her concern.
“No need. I'm curious to see what they're up to.”
“When and where?”
Xue Zixi asked promptly.
“They've offered to send someone to pick you up if you agree.”
“Then agree I do. Let them know.”
”Will do, Mr. Jiang. But please, be careful no matter what.”
“Understood.”

Jiang Hao ended the call, a subtle smirk playing at the corner of his mouth.
“A Hongmen Banquet?”

With that, he gathered his belongings and stepped out the door.
Immediately, he noticed a sleek black sedan waiting at the entrance of his complex.
A man in a sharp suit and tie swiftly approached Jiang Hao, having just alighted from the vehicle.

“Let's go,” the man replied.

Jiang Hao got into the car with a composed air and they set off toward their destination.
In no time at all, the car pulled up to a standalone villa.
As Jiang Hao stepped out, a middle-aged man came forward to greet him eagerly.
“You must be Mr. Jiang. I am Jia Nailiang, the Jia Family's butler!
The young master is incapacitated and can't come out to greet you himself. I trust Mr. Jiang won't hold this against us!”
Hearing this, Jiang Hao responded with a hint of embarrassment.

The bandaged man inhaled sharply, a clear sign of pain.
