Peerless Battle Spirit

Chapter 188 - Longhu Phenomenon

Chapter 188 - Longhu Phenomenon

Qin Nan and Princess Miao Miao headed straight to Linshui City after departing from the Mystic Spirit Sect.

The first time Qin Nan went from Linshui City to the Mystic Spirit Sect it took roughly a period of ten days. Now that his cultivation had reached the fifth-layer Xiantian Realm, and he had mastered the technique of unleashing his Qi and the Greater Success Stage of the Arcane Realm, his speed when traveling was a lot faster—only three days were needed for the journey.

“Time to multitask!”

Qin Nan took the Atavistic Spiritual Liquid out and devoured them while executing the Mystical Eight Steps.

The previous incident of him challenging Leng Feng to a duel had made him realize that his strength was still too weak. All of his past achievements were insignificant as they remained in the past. If he was a lot stronger, there was no way Ouyang Jun would be so smug, nor that he would have ended up surrendering due to Xiao Qingxue’s request.

Meanwhile, as the Atavistic Spiritual Liquid entered his body, it immediately transformed into an abundant stream of Qi, surging within Qin Nan’s body.

Qin Nan’s entire body began to buzz due to the boiling Qi, which sounded like the howls of a strong gust, or the roars of a phantom.

On the other hand, Princess Miao Miao floated in mid-air as she immersed herself in an arcane state.

Her cultivation was even more fascinating; she could absorb the force of Heaven and Earth without unleashing her Martial Spirit.

Qin Nan had peeked at her with his Eyes of the Divine Battle Spirit. He could faintly sense that she was treating her injury, but he could not comprehend the secrets of her cultivation, not even a slight hint, which caused him to give up on the thought of peeking at her.

Following this, the two arrived at Linshui City while cultivating throughout their journey for the three days.

Ten miles away from Linshui City, Qin Nan halted in his tracks as his body suddenly bloated, as if a stream of air was sucked into his body, causing his size to become three times bigger like a mini-giant.

“The unity of Qi, sixth-layer Xiantian Realm!”

Qin Nan uttered a shout, and from his mouth fired a stream of powerful Qi, which turned into a strong gust of wind toward his surroundings, leaving a gully on the ground, and the trees around him snapped into halves.

This was the cultivation of the Xiantian Realm. The accumulation of Qi from his previous stages of cultivation had contaminated the Qi inside his body, like a pool of muddy water. Now that Qin Nan had cleansed his body, it caused his Qi to turn more condensed and pure, allowing him to emit a stronger force with his Qi.

Qin Nan’s aura recovered at a swift pace, which was now sixth-layer Xiantian Realm.

“It took a total of thirty drops of Atavistic Spiritual Liquid to have a breakthrough, reaching the sixth-layer Xiantian Realm. It seems that as my cultivation improves, the amount of Atavistic Spiritual Liquid needed greatly increases too.” Qin Nan mumbled to himself, and proceeded forward, finally arriving at Linshui City.

……

……

Linshui City was no longer the same as before; the walls were fortified, which looked like a crawling beast, producing a marvelous sight. Below the walls, countless trading caravans and rogue cultivators entered the city in an endless fashion, resulting in a lively atmosphere.

The main reason was that Qin Nan had become a disciple of the Mystic Spirit Sect and had accomplished outstanding achievements, hence the city was under the protection of the Mystic Spirit Sect. Therefore, the clans and the cities close to Linshui City would not dare to cause any trouble, allowing it to develop rapidly.

“Let me bring you to my clan.”

Qin Nan glanced at Princess Miao Miao before he entered the city. His face was filled with a hint of warmth upon seeing the strange but familiar sights in his surroundings.

As the saying went, “Gold kennels or silver kennels are uncomparable to the dog kennel I live in.” Despite the impolite choice of words, it did state the truth. It didn’t matter if someone had a great reputation or a bad one in the outer world, a person’s home is still the warmest place.

“The Qin Clan!”

Qin Nan came to a stop as his gaze was locked onto a huge residence located in the city.

The Qin Clan now was very different after devouring the Fang Clan. The Qin Clan’s residence had expanded to become two times bigger, occupying a surface area of a hundred miles square, resulting in a marvelous sight. Many of the rogue cultivators even referred it as Qin City.

“So this is your clan?”

A surprised look appeared on Princess Miao Miao’s face.

With a short scan, she discovered that the strongest cultivator within the Qin Clan had only reached the Xiantian Realm, even weaker than Qin Nan’s cultivation base.

How did such a clan give birth to a maniac like Qin Nan?

“Yeah, this is my clan.”

Qin Nan exclaimed, and approached the entrance without further words.

Outside of his expectations, when he arrived at the huge entrance, two bulky eighth-layer Body Tempering Realm cultivators glared at him and said in a harsh tone, “Who’s there? This is the Qin Clan’s residence, please leave at once if you don’t have an invitation.”

Although the two cultivators were aware that Qin Nan and Princess Miao Miao were extraordinary, one could only enter after showing an invitation at the entrance.

Qin Nan uttered a smile and said, “Go and tell your patriarch… just say that Qin Nan is back.”

“Qin Nan?” The two men were slightly startled, but were soon awakened as they said in a shocked tone, “You are Qin Nan? You are Young Master Qin Nan?”

“Yeah, well maybe there is no need to bother you guys.”

Qin Nan nodded his head with a smile, and exchanged glances with Princess Miao Miao, before his figure turned blurry with a step, and vanished before the two bulky men.

The two men stared with their eyes opened wide and their jaws dropped.

Where did they go?

How could they suddenly disappear?

They both possessed a cultivation of the eighth-layer Xiantian Realm; even ordinary Xiantian experts could not have disappeared straight away from their vision.

……

……

In the Qin Clan’s Conference Hall, Qin Tian sat in the leading position, and before him were Tie San and the other new elders of the Qin Clan.

Qin Tian looked at the crowd in the hall, and said while frowning his eyebrows, “It’s best if we of the Qin Clan are not involved in the phenomenon happening at the Longhu Mountain Range, as the incident has attracted the attention of the Four Great Clans of the Luohe Kingdom. According to reliable sources, they have sent their whole clans into the mountain range…”

His expression greatly changed before he could finish his words.

Not only Qin Tian, even the others present in the hall had their faces utterly changed.

This was because two people appeared out of nowhere inside the hall!

How significant were two people appearing out of nowhere?

First of all, Qin Tian, Tie San, and some elders were now Xiantian Realm experts; this was especially for Qin Tian, whose cultivation had reached the fifth-layer Xiantian Realm.

The fact that they were unaware of the sudden entry of these two people served as a sign that they had a far greater cultivation bases comparing to theirs.

“Father!”

“Uncle San!”

As the crowd was immersed in shock, a voice was heard.

The one speaking was none other than Qin Nan.

Qin Tian and Tie San were shocked hearing the familiar voice, and as their gazes landed onto the owner of the voice, they both lost their stability and mumbled.

“Nan’er?”

“Young Master?”

Qin Tian and Tie San did not expect even in their wildest dreams that the Qin Nan who they missed a lot, would appear in such a fashion before them all of a sudden.

“Nan’er, Nan’er, it’s really you! HAHAHA, you piece of sheet are finally willing to pay me a visit!” Qin Tian reacted swiftly, as his face was filled with a thick sense of surprise. He instantly went forward and hugged Qin Nan tightly, losing his demeanor as the Patriarch of the clan.

Since Qin Nan had left, Qin Tian as a father thought of him all the time, worrying about his well being.

Is Nan’er living a good life at the Mystic Spirit Sect?

Would he get bullied?

Would he get himself into trouble?

Now seeing his son wearing decent clothing, with an imposing appearance that gave him the faint demeanor of an emperor, he was incredibly relieved and instead of feeling joyful, he could feel his nose slightly twitching. Being safe is good enough, being safe is good enough.
