Chapter 111 - Extra CP (Zuo Zhen x Lu Xiuhe)-You stop being my fan ba
Chapter 111 - Extra CP (Zuo Zhen x Lu Xiuhe)-You stop being my fan ba
Edited by Noks
Lu Xiuhe wasn’t stupid. When Zuo Zhen first spoke about the signature pen and then said something about it being a permit-pass, with one look, he could tell that nothing serious had happened. There was an 80% chance there was no one else inside the room.
That made sense. Although always preventing illegitimate fans from coming into contact with an idol was impossible, the assistant placed at Zuo Zhen’s side wasn’t just for show either. It had been such a long time since the incident had taken place, and even if there had been such a fan here, they must have already been dealt with. It was such simple logic, but he hadn’t even thought of it until just now.
His anxious heart could now rest firmly and securely again, and only then did he start to feel embarrassed.
“That ah, I gave it to someone else.” Lu Xiuhe said, “Since you’re fine, then I……”
Bang.
The door in front of him was shut rather mercilessly in his face.
Lu Xiuhe was stunned, and his eyes widened——
Being hung up on and having the door slammed in his face—the Great Lord Lu had never suffered such kinds of wrong in his life before.
If this had happened back in junior high school, with his fiery hot temper at that time, Zuo Zhen would have been eating his fist right now!!
You should be glad that your Great Lord Lu is older now and has a better temper….
Lu Xiuhe said so to himself, but in fact, he didn’t dare to knock again.
Forget it. At least he knew he was fine.
He turned around and was just about to leave when he heard another sound from behind him. Before he could react, he felt the back of his collar being pulled by someone. He lost his balance and nearly fell on Zuo Zhen.
“Fuck…. Are you addicted to pulling on people’s collars or something???”
The hotel had been arranged by the reception staff in Manyang. Although it wasn’t a suite, it was still a standard luxury room.
Zuo Zhen, with a dark expression on his face, threw the person onto the sofa, while he sat on a similar but separate small sofa chair beside him. He let out a barely perceptible breath of relief upon having something to support his back against.
Lu Xiuhe looked around. The room was clean, and let alone other people, there weren’t even that many things here.
He turned his head and said, “You…”
He saw Zuo Zhen’s entire body reclining on the sofa, with his eyes closed, as his chest moved up and down in rather large movements as he breathed— he looked uncomfortable.
The vicious words that Lu Xiuhe had wanted to say were instantly swallowed back, and with his voice lowered a bit, he asked, “…What’s wrong with you?”
Zuo Zhen didn’t respond to him; he seemed to be coming around.
Lu Xiuhe was well-developed and also liked to play basketball; he had a good amount of meat on his bones. Dragging him the way he did just now may not affect Zuo Zhen during normal times, but right now, he had done so by using all the strength in his body.
He had been afraid that if he didn’t use enough strength, Lu Xiuhe would leave.
It was only then that Lu Xiuhe remembered that when he was being pulled by the collar just now, the temperature of the fingers against the back of his neck seemed to be a little off.
He got up and placed the back of his hand on Zuo Zhen’s forehead.
It was horribly hot.
“You have a fever!”
“I know.” Zuo Zhen’s voice was a little weak. “You don’t need to be so loud.”
“No, for better or worse, you’re a big star. Why is it that you’re burning up like this, and there’s no staff around staying to take care of you?” Lu Xiuhe got up and looked around, before finally finding a hot water bottle.
He had just walked a few steps forward when he stopped. The hot water bottle in the hotel was too dirty; he couldn’t use it.
Zuo Zhen laughed at himself. “What kind of a big star do I count as?”
He managed to force his eyelids open and saw Lu Xiuhe walking towards the door. His tiredness suddenly faded and he pulled himself up a bit, as if he was about to stand up as he asked, “Where are you going?”
“Going to find some hot water, the hot water bottle in the hotel is too dirty.” Lu Xiuhe said, “Even if there is no one watching over you… they should have bought you some medicine ba?”
“On the bookcase.”
“Have you taken it?”
“No.”
“Even little children know that they need to take medicine when they’re sick. You’re already this old, how come you’re still waiting on someone to feed it to you…” Lu Xiuhe put on his shoes. “I’m going to go buy a hot water bottle. If there’s anything else you need right now, I’ll buy it and bring it back for you.”
Zuo Zhen kept looking at him without blinking, and then he said, “You must come back.”
If it was for any other reason, Lu Xiuhe might have really slipped away.
He said, “Don’t worry. I don’t owe you money, and I won’t run away.”
Zuo Zhen’s eyes were full of suspicion, he still did not believe him. Finally, he said, “Take the keycard from the shoe cabinet, it’ll save me from having to open the door.”
Lu Xiuhe didn’t think too much about it. He let out an “oh,” picked up the keycard, and went out.
Five minutes later, the doorbell rang again, and the assistant came in with some food. “Zhen Ge, I’ve bought you some food. Even if you don’t feel good, eat a bit ba, you shouldn’t damage your stomach because you’re not hungry.”
“Put it on the shoe cabinet.” Zuo Zhen said, “You go back first ba.”
The assistant paused in his action of taking off his shoes. “Go back? How can I do that, you’re already burning up like this&#k2026;”
“Someone will come to take care of me.” Zuo Zhen raised his eyes, his meaning obvious. “If you’re here, it won’t be convenient.”
“!!”
“Zhen Ge, it can’t be that you…. When did this happen?!” The assistant was surprised and said, “No matter what, you can’t bring the person here ah. We just drove away some illegitimate fans, if she is seen…”
Zuo Zhen said, “I have discretion. Go back to your room. If you stay here, when they come back and see you, they’ll leave.”
As soon as Lu Xiuhe entered, he saw the hot porridge on the shoe cabinet. Before he could ask, Zuo Zhen said lazily, “I ordered takeout.”
“Oh.” Lu Xiuhe took the porridge and moved it in front of him, then shook the new hot water kettle he was carrying in his hand. “I’ll wash it.”
After saying that, he took out a thermometer from the small plastic bag in his hands. “You stick this under your arm and see how serious your fever is.”
Zuo Zhen sat still. To make himself comfortable, his legs were propped on the coffee table, and he raised his eyes. “Not sticking it in.”
“…… stick it in.”
Zuo Zhen looked at him with his head tilted. “I can’t lift my arm.”
This shameless deception gave Lu Xiuhe a headache.
Even his seven-year-old nephew could lift his hand and stick the thermometer under his elbow by himself.
He clicked his tongue, bent his waist, and held Zuo Zhen’s wrist. “Don’t move around randomly.”
Lu Xiuhe picked up his arm and was just putting the thermometer under his arm when Zuo Zhen suddenly bowed his head such that his lips touched Lu Xiuhe’s earlobe.
“In what capacity are you here right now?” Zuo Zhen’s voice was hoarse as he asked him, “A fan representative?”
Lu Xiuhe froze. “….If you want to say that, that’s fine. You hold it.”
“Don’t you not like me?” Zuo Zhen’s elbow hung from the armrest of the chair as he asked this question with a lazy voice, and it seemed that he wasn’t going to put his arm down to hold the thermometer at all.
Lu Xiuhe said, “Hold it first.”
“Why quarrel with others for my sake?” Zuo Zhen asked him, “And then even come to an airport meetup, and now, you’re here in my room… Lu Xiuhe, what exactly are you thinking?”
“What can I think…” Lu Xiuhe’s ears were hot, and he urged him, “Quickly hold it, the water is boiling.”
The back of Zuo Zhen’s head hurt because of the fever, but he was even more afraid of forcing the other person away with his questioning.
He stared at Lu Xiuhe for a long time before he slowly clamped his arm down on the thermometer.
Lu Xiuhe got up as if he was about to flee, then turned around and left his side. “You eat something first, and after you’re done eating, take the medicine.”
When the TV was turned on, there was a new anti- Japanese drama playing on it. Lu Xiuhe sat on the sofa and watched Zuo Zhen drink porridge slowly, while pondering in his mind about when to leave.
“What?” Zuo Zhen didn’t raise his head. “You want to leave?”
…… Are you a supernatural being?
“…… Not really.” Lu Xiuhe took out his cellphone and said to himself, “I’ll go to the fan group chat to report your safety.”
“Don’t do that.” Zuo Zhen said, “You’re going to let them know that you have come to find me? Do you want to be treated as an illegitimate fan and beaten to death?”
Lu Xiuhe was stunned and stopped his action. “But you haven’t posted anything about this situation to Weibo this whole time. Everyone is worried…”
Zuo Zhen held his gaze as he said, “The company didn’t post anything on purpose.”
“Why?”
“Selling misery.” Zuo Zhen’s tone was even as he explained, “The fans are worried about me, and if the company stirs it up some more, it’ll become a trending topic tonight.”
“……” It was too real ba.
Lu Xiuhe thought for a moment and then asked, “Then how about using your own Weibo to post something? Even an ‘I’m fine’ would be good. Anyway, all your posts go on to become trending topics. ”
“No way.”
Lu Xiuhe asked, “….do you have to sell misery?”
Zuo Zhen’s hand paused for a moment before he continued to bow his head to drink the porridge.
“It’s not that I don’t want to or that I won’t, it’s that it’s just not possible.”
Lu Xiuhe was completely unable to comprehend what this rather winding statement meant. “What do you mean ah?”
“What Weibo posts that account makes, what ads it’s going to repost, what posts it likes—I’m in charge of none of it.” Zuo Zhen replied.
Lu Xiuhe immediately shut up.
The period of time he had spent mingling in the fan circles hadn’t been for nothing. Naturally, he had heard that artists’ Weibos were all managed by special personnel, but he hadn’t expected the control to actually reach such a level.
Lu Xiuhe asked, “That matter with the illegitimate fan was also something the company spread around blindly?”
“No.” Zuo Zhen said, “There were several people who came in the afternoon, but the assistant was experienced and soon drove them off.”
“You’re not hurt ba?”
“Hurt.” Zuo Zhen glanced at him, raised his hand suddenly, and lifted up the hem of his shirt. “Have a look?”
Lu Xiuhe looked in that direction reflexively, only to see the symmetrical abdominal muscles, the familiar scar, and nothing else. “Where?”
As soon as he asked that, he saw the corners of Zuo Zhen’s mouth rise as he started to laugh.
He then realized that he had been tricked. He blushed and said in shock, “Fuck… You’re too flirty ba. Get dressed quickly.”
Zuo Zhen’s fever reached 39.2 degrees. Lu Xiuhe looked at it and resolutely decided to not let him remain seated anymore, pulling and dragging him up to help him into the bedroom.
He first put him on the bed, then bent over Zuo Zhen, reaching to grab the other side of the bedding. Because of his action, his clothes pulled up, thereby revealing a large part of his waist.
Although Zuo Zhen had a fever, he still didn’t forget to put his hands in to cling to Lu Xiuhe’s abdomen.
Lu Xiuhe was startled by the scalding heat. He hurriedly took two steps back and wrapped his clothes up tightly. He asked in panic, “Zuo Zhen, have you started developing problems because of your fever?”
Zuo Zhen lowered his hand. His cheeks were red, and because he had a fever, his eyes looked like they were absolutely sparkling. “Liking you is a problem?”
“……”
Lu Xiuhe wasn’t unaware of how direct Zuo Zhen could be, but he got very nervous every time he heard him like this.
“Don’t talk about this anymore, okay.” Lu Xiuhe said, in a kind of an entreating tone, “I’ll tuck you in, you don’t fucking… touch me.”
Zuo Zhen looked at him head on and said nothing.
Lu Xiuhe pulled down the hem of his clothes to make sure his body was covered before bending down again and pulling the bedding over Zuo Zhen’s body.
Having tucked him in, just as he was about to relax, he was suddenly jerked over by his collar by Zuo Zhen again. Lu Xiuhe was caught completely off guard, lost his balance, and fell over. Before he could react, his lips were kissed.
What the fuck.
He was still fucking doing it again?!
Lu Xiuhe reflexively wanted to evade him, but unexpectedly, Zuo Zhen reacted faster than him. Both of his hands immediately went around behind him, with one shackling his neck and the other pressing the back of his head as hard as he could.
Lu Xiuhe was worried that as a big man, his feet and hands would move too recklessly and hurt the sick person, so after thudding around a bit, he didn’t move around much anymore. It wasn’t long before he completely lost his guard, and his mouth was completely occupied by Zuo Zhen.
Zuo Zhen’s lips and tongue were hot, and it still held the bitter taste of medicine. He pestered the tip of Lu Xiuhe’s tongue over and over, advancing as soon as he retreated, not allowing him to hide.
Lu Xiuhe was kissed until he became dizzy, and he didn’t know how much time had passed before he was finally released.
Zuo Zhen gasped heavily, his eyes dark. He grabbed the chance to speak before Lu Xiuhe could open his mouth. “Lu Xiuhe, if you don’t like me, then stay away from me.”
“You can’t reject me and approach me at the same time. Don’t try to make me just dangle there.”
Lu Xiuhe had plainly thought up a whole stomach full of dirty words to say, but after looking at Zuo Zhen’s face of angry forbearance, he suddenly, and very cleanly, forgot all of them.
Hey no, wasn’t the person who had just been forcefully kissed him? How come it became his fault the moment Zuo Zhen spoke about it?
He opened and closed his mouth for a long while before finally saying in a faltering manner, “I don’t want to make you dangle there…”
“Then why did you call me?”
“Wasn’t that because I had heard that you were attacked by an illegitimate fan…”
“Even if it was true, it’s none of your business.”
Lu Xiuhe choked, and couldn’t say anything for a moment.
Now that the hot kiss was over, Zuo Zhen’s tone was cool as he said, “I catfished you and lied to you. If you can’t accept that, you can either beat me or just stay away from me.”
Lu Xiuhe thought that Zuo Zhen was right, and so couldn’t refute him.
He had also thought that way at first.
But then how the hell had he ended up joining Zuo Zhen’s fan support group?
After a long time, he finally managed to find a reasonable explanation. “Isn’t this because of me being…. turned into your fan?”
“And also,” he suddenly thought of something and argued, “You’ve even got a fucking new boyfriend now, and you’re still crazily kissing other people, aren’t you being too scummy ba?”
Zuo Zhen frowned. “What new boyfriend?”
Lu Xiuhe said, “The one in the game, who was playing duo with you ah.”
“That’s Xu Min. He lost a bet with someone else and was forced to change his game ID.”
Xu Min was the youngest member of Pz.
Zuo Zhen raised his eyebrows. “So that day, you were willing to enter the lobby because… you saw me playing games with him?”
Lu Xiuhe froze then hurriedly waved before explaining, “No, I just clicked the wrong button and went in!”
“No, you’re jealous.” Zuo Zhen clutched the corner of his clothes, as if he had grasped some life-saving straw. “Lu Xiuhe, you like me.”
“….”
Zuo Zhen swallowed, enduring the discomfort in his throat, and repeated in a hoarse voice, “You like me.”
“……”
Lu Xiuhe sighed heavily and said, “I do like you…”
Zuo Zhen’s eyes suddenly brightened.
“You dance so well, rap so smoothly, play games so well, and you work so hard,” Lu Xiuhe stated a lot of good things about him, “So… I idolize you a lot ah, you’re the first star I’ve ever chased after. ”
Zuo Zhen’s gaze grew a little colder, and even the strength he was using to grip the clothes loosened a bit.
Lu Xiuhe scratched his head and forced himself to not look at him. “But that’s the kind of like one has towards idols ah. I… Zuo Zhen, I really don’t like men. I have never wanted to be with a man.”
By the end, Lu Xiuhe’s voice was almost inaudible.
But Zuo Zhen could hear the whole thing clearly.
The bedroom was quiet for half a minute. Lu Xiuhe kept standing in the same place and felt that his back had gone numb while his heart was all blocked up, and felt plain bad.
The man in bed was obviously expressionless, but he kept feeling as if this person was going to cry.
Lu Xiuhe said, “I….”
His clothes were suddenly freed. In just a few seconds, Zuo Zhen’s expression returned back to normal. Besides the flushed red on his face because of his temperature, almost nothing else could be seen.
He put his hand back on the bedding, suddenly turned around, and lay with his back facing Lu Xiuhe. “I know,” he replied in a hoarse voice.
Lu Xiuhe could only stare at his back, and he felt acid in his throat as he said, “Zuo Zhen…”
“I’ve already had porridge and taken medicine.” Zuo Zhen said, “Once I sleep some more, I’ll be fine. Thank you for your concern.”
“……” Lu Xiuhe was at a loss. “Zuo Zhen, can’t we be friends? There’s nothing that good about me. I have no money, and I’m not handsome, so why do you have to like me?”
“You go back ba.”
Lu Xiuhe really didn’t know what to say. Even after standing in that spot for a long time, he could only squeeze this phrase out of his throat, “….then you rest well.”
His cellphone was vibrating in his pocket. He didn’t have to guess to know that it was a notification for the messages being sent in the fan support groupchat. Instinctively, he blurted out, “The fans are having a rather intense discussion. Do you want to have a look…”
“Lu Xiuhe,” Zuo Zhen interrupted him.
“Ah.”
“Don’t be my fan anymore.”
Lu Xiuhe paused in his action of taking out his phone.
“I don’t lack fans, and so don’t need you.” Zuo Zhen closed his eyes, his voice very weak as he said, “You let me go and stop being my fan ba.”
