Rebirth: Over the Horizon

"I will help you find wood elves, but you have to join my guild, at the same time persuade other Dark elves to join my guild." 

"How does this sounds?" 

"Hum..." Ryukyu showed a hesitant expression. 

"See here, Demon Arrow. Your mission is to find information about wood elves right?" 

"Y-yes"

"Imagine, when you return if you bought back the wood elf queen what do you think will happen?" 

"It, it will be a huge achievement." 

'Ha, he fell into my trap.' 

"That's right! You will become famous among the tribe, at the same time I will also be benefitted by you ans your companies, dark elves." 

"Yeah, I would very much like to do that. Unfortunately, I can't do that." 

"Why?" Adam was confused. 

"Because, dark elves were restrained by a mythical level 100 beast. If he is not slained they can never leave the Tornassa forest." 

"If only I wasn't a player, Dark elf tribe would have gone extinct within the tornassa forest." 

A evil smirk formed on Adam's face and he said, "I will defeat thest mythi Or whatever beast your saying." 

'Saying cool dialogue to an old arrogant friend is also not bad hehe...'

The two walked into the thick and large forest as Ryukyu lead the way where the mystical beast resides. 

Because of the 'Superb' treatment he got from the thunder dragon as a honoured guest, Jim was currently unable to do anything. 

So, Demon Arrow had no other choice but walk, even though Adam can fly, he didn't wanted to embrass an old friend. 

After half an hour of walking, Ryukyu stopped and said, "This is the place where the mythical beast..." 

As he was talking, his lines stopped, at that moment his pupils shrank and he hurriedly shouted, "Watch Out!" 

Adam also realized something was wrong behind him. 

He raned forward and grabbed Ryukyu abd swirled to the side. 

Boom- 

A heavy banging sounded and dust started to to rise from the ground at the same time a green mist started to surround them. 

"Aura Purification"

Adam rose from the ground and helped Ryukyu to stand up. 

Then he summoned an item from the inventory, "Gold and silver arrows." 

Adam pushed the arrows into the hand of Ryukyu and said, "Here take it, You are on your own." 

"What!?" 

Ryukyu was perplexed, but there was no one in front of him to converse. Adam has already disappeared from the place.

He focused on the arrow on his hand and new window popped up. 

[Golden Arrow: It's an extremely powerful destructive weapon which is embedded with Fire and dark attributes] 

[Silver Arrow: Although this is not as powerful as Golden arrow, it will rest easy until it hits target. It has paralyzing effect embedded with wind and earth attributes.] 

Thanks to the golden light which was still covering his body, Ryukyu was still able to clearly see what's happening around him. 

'Dust serpent judging by its initial attack it seems to be cautious monster' Ryukyu calculate and he summoned his exquisite looking black bow.

He then placed the silver arrow and used skill 'explorer' 

His pupil turned dark and a notifications appeared on his side. 

[TARGET: GIANT DUST SERPENT] 

Even after few minutes he was unable to locate the monster. 

While Ryukyu was searching for the giant serpent, the monster cautiously crawled in the misty ground while keeping an eye on Demon Arrow. 

It is like a very patient hunter, waiting for his prey to make mistakes. 

But, Demon arrow wasn't also an easy target he quietly stood holding his bow and silver arrow. 

About half a minute later, two yards in front of him, Ryukyu suddenly heard a "rustling" sound on the grass.

Ryukyu condensed his eyes, then waved the bow in his hand.

 The gems on black bow lit up, and then his body was covered with a layer of silvery white light. 

"Fuuaahhh..." 

While hissing ferociously, the giant dust snake sprang out from the grass he previously located his eyes. 

"Flash" 

Its speed was so fast that it almost touched the corner of Ryukyu's clothes.

Ryukyu avoided the attack of the giant dust snake without any danger. He didn't show joy or rejoicing, all he showed in his eyes was peace. 

The kid who previously acted all cute was now like a trained veteran archer who had face d countless battles. 

Seeing, the current Ryukyu Adam couldn't help but think of the arrogant and cold Demon Arrow he knew of. 

He was currently flying above the scene of fight using the stealth skill to hide himself. 

'But, if he was here, by now he would he released 100+ arrows and instantly

K. Oed the giant serpent.' 

"Silver arrow Go!" 

Hearing his childish lines, Adam couldn't help but laugh. 

"Hahaha..." 

The silver arrow rushed towards the Giant serpent. Although it was called giant serpent it wasn't that big. 

It was same length was normal, only 8 ft and it's thickness was similar to that of a tree's width. 

The current situation is that the giant dust snake just sprang from the ground, trying to sneak attack on the enemy. 

But, it didn't expect the skinny looking boy would actually dodge and counter attack at the same time. 

The silver arrow almost pierced the snake's body, although it was true that the giant serpent was surprised. 

It was not noob, it quickly dodged the arrow with all it's might but, what it didn't expect was the arrow wasn't any normal one. 

The silver arrow which went past the serpent, turned around like a boomerang and pierced the serpent's abdomen. 

"Fuuua-" 

It started to roar in pain but the scream wasn't completed. 

It stood like statue, it's mouth was half open and it's eyes rolled yo to it's head. 

It was paralyze effect of the silver arrow, Ryukyu without wasting time loaded the golden arrow and aimed at the serpent. 

But, at the moment "Hissss..." 

Huge waves of green mist animated in the form of waves and swept Ryukyu. 

[Your Aura purification has been nullified] 

Adam received the notifications at the same time, Ryukyu HP startes to drop drastically. 

Adam quickly rushed towards him, but when he reached there Demon arrow's HP was already below 10% . 

Adam grabbed him and went out the green mist.

"You have done well Demon arrow. Cyro freeze." 

Adam froze him with his spell and tossed him towards a ground, but unexpectedly he was caught by a dark bluish hue colored creature. 

"Take him to safe place, I will take of this monster." 

As he said, Adam retreated towards the giant serpent.
