They went into silence the moment Lorraine stated her opinion about this matter in regard to the Crown Prince.

As much as they think about it, it makes sense if that was the case then.

There is a possibility that the trial from three years ago is nothing but a planted scheme against the Crown Prince and whoever framed the Crown Prince and ruined his reputation would be the one who would benefit from it.

The three Chevalier siblings understood this matter the most since from a very young age, they were exposed to the cruel side of the noble society, even in the political intrigues within the Palace and its Empire.

Now that they thought about it, the three siblings suddenly remembered a certain Royal banquet from three years ago that was hosted by the Crown Prince that time and they got summon for a meeting with the Crown Prince from that time after that scandalous issue spread within the noble circle.

However, I know how to step back from something that I couldn't handle. I'm not that stupid to make an enemy to someone such as the household of war heroes. As the eldest amongst his siblings, Altron, of course rejected the proposal coming from the Crown Prince at that time.

He wasn't interested and even though it's just only for negotiation or much rather a proposal, but if the three siblings happens to accept such proposal or giving favors to the Crown Prince then, they would no longer be on the neutral faction, and they didn't want to entangle themselves into something that would be disadvantageous for them.

"I suddenly remember from that time during the Royal banquet from three years ago. Tsk! I don't know what he was thinking at that time but thank goodness that we didn't stay there for long or else another rumor would have been spread within the noble society because of that incident."

Felicity said as she crossed her arms around her chest when she remembered that incident and it made her uncomfortable from that time because she could get the gist of the situation on hand.

"Well, before the Crown Prince laid his supposed proposal that time, elder brother firmly rejected the offer without listening to that proposal and I bet it would be related to something like alliance or something."

Harrison commented and clicked his tongue in annoyance because from that time he wasn't in the mood to play with those rotten nobles back then and they were suddenly summoned by that b*stard Crown Prince.

However, right now that the news about that b*stard Crown Prince's death is something that they find it hard to believe or couldn't make sense out of it.

"Francis."

All of a sudden, the other four looked at Altron when he called out a certain person's name and Francis snapped from his daze because of the sudden call out coming from the Marquis that makes him looked at him with a frown.

"Yes, Your Grace. Is there something you need?"

Francis asked and Altron gazed back at him, and others waited for the Marquis' response.

After some time had passed, Altron asked some questions to the young man he called out.

"You said earlier that there wasn't even a movement from the Crown Prince's Palace for over three years already, right?"

Francis frowned at the sudden question coming from the Marquis, but he just nodded for confirmation and said; "Yes, that's true. That's why I find it absurd that for the passed three years and then an unknown figure suddenly appeared within the Crown Prince's Palace and then afterwards, some news came about his sudden death?"

He paused for a moment before he continued; "Forgive me for my insolent remarks but I don't mean to offend Count Chevalier here and I know he wasn't someone who would dare to tell a lie about this matter, but all of this doesn't make any sense at all."

Harrison waved his hand because even he also find it absurd as well; "Don't worry. I know what it feels like to be confused in this kind of situation."

"Also, Lorraine's conclusion from earlier would be a plausible reason for it."

He also added since those are the possibilities that they could come up with if that was the case then.

"A planted scheme against the Crown Prince? Well, you're right about that, second elder brother. However, as much as it would seem like that, but have you guys forgot about the evidence from that anonymous source that came during the trial three years ago?"

As Felicity mentioned that particular scene from three years ago, the other two Chevalier siblings also think about it as well.

"Evidence? What kind of evidence are you guys talking about?"

Lorraine suddenly asked the three siblings because she didn't know much about the trial that happened three years ago and even though the Grand Duke filled her up some information about that incident, but the woman knew that the Grand Duke wasn't telling her the whole story from that time, and she understood it well.

'Although we were on an alliance, but I could tell that the Grand Duke doesn't fully trust me yet but that's okay though. I'll just need to prove myself to him that I didn't mean harm in this current timeline.'

Lorraine knew that she needed to prove herself to the Grand Duke to earn his trust and also, she still had some secrets that she didn't let the Grand Duke perceive through his hidden trait.

"Those evidence just sudden popped out in the middle of the court trial three years ago by an anonymous source and His Majesty, the Emperor is the one who take a look at those documents that time."

The one answered is none other than Felicity and the Lady Marchioness took a deep breath before she continued with her icy tone; "Those documents presented within the court about the Crown Prince's involvement for raising some rebellion under a different troop and also, it implicate some Viscount household for funding such rebellion group under the commands of the Crown Prince and not only that, there is also an evidence from that anonymous source that the Crown Prince is coordinating with an enemy Empire."

"WHAT?!"

Both Lorraine and Francis had a shocked reaction at what the Lady Marchioness stated because…. Both of them happened to remember something that is quite similar.

'Wait a second. T-that….! Those were the false accusations that was pinned into Ezekiel from the previous timeline?! Just what the heck is happening right now?! Why are those accusation suddenly appeared 10 years earlier than the original timeline?!'

Lorraine thought and frowned but suddenly, she secretly looked at the Grand Duke who also looked back at her with those cold cyan-colored eyes of his.

< ... "Your Grace. Is this the reason why you didn't tell me the whole story about the trial three years ago? I know you have activated your hidden trait to perceive some of the events that should happen in the future but right now, things aren't the same anymore. What is going on? I know you don't trust me at all, but could you at least set aside our differences and doubts for now? I'm begging you." ….. >

Lorraine had no choice but to activate her telepathy skill and convey her message to the Grand Duke because as of this moment, everything is totally messed up!

Francis just looked at the other two people who seemed like conversing telepathically and right now, he is also confused as hell.

Rheina slammed her hands into her desk when she received a shocking report coming from one of her subordinates that just came back to their headquarters.

"There is a sudden news coming from the Royal Palace of Stellarus Empire about the Crown Prince who were found dead at his bedroom!"

'What kind of nonsense was this?!'

"Are you sure about that?! Has this information had spread within the Empire?!"

Her subordinate shook off her head and continued; "No. It hasn't. I bet the Royal family would cover this up and also, don't you think it's strange for that Crown Prince just died like that? He's been in solitary confinement for three years already and all of the sudden, this news came out?"

Rheina also find it hard to believe this matter. Sure, the Crown Prince's confinement gave them some assurance that he wouldn't make some trouble for her and her clan for a while but this sudden news that came out of nowhere? There is definitely something that isn't right.

"How's the situation within the central region of the empire, EDEN?"

Rheina asked her subordinate, Eden about the situation that's happening, and Eden answered; "According to the information that I gathered from snooping around within the central region, a sudden assembly would take place at the Royal Palace one of these days. Only those high-ranking noble households are being summoned for the assembly."

Rheina frowns and said; "Only those high-ranking noble households? Then, it means…."

The Lotus Killer's sentence were cut off when Eden nodded and said; "Yes. Exactly. High-ranking nobles from the Aristocratic and Imperial faction, together with the Neutral faction are being called forth for the assembly."
