Chapter 1152 First Trial Part 5
1152 First Trial Part 5
Kana stood in front of Helden, who was on the ground kissing the dirt. He had fallen when he passed through the portal. He slowly got up and looked around. When he saw where he was, he was shocked. "This…"
"Which house?" Kana did not let him ask any questions. She wanted to get things over with quickly.
"It's the one over there. This way." Helden was a smart man. Since he could not ask questions, he would just follow orders. He quickly brought Kana and the others to his house, where his wife was busy cooking dinner.
"Helden, is that you?" A woman in her late twenties walked over to see Helden walking over with a few girls behind him. Her eyes narrowed as she asked: "And this is?"
"From this moment on, do not leave the house. Things will become dangerous in the capital soon. I will stay here with you, as for these girls. They are Kana's friends. They will stay here for the time being while she runs to the castle." Helden explained but did not go into the finer details.
Helden's wife was a bit confused, but she still nodded. As long as they were not new lovers, she was fine. She turned and looked at Kana and the others and smiled. "My name is Gilly. You are welcome to stay as long as you like."
"Thanks. It will only be for a few days." Kana replied and smiled. "I will put the new barrier up now. After that, I will be back with the king."
"Alright. Be careful." Helden could only hope he was making the right choice. But he could tell from everything he saw that Kana was not just telling stories. She was indeed very strong.
"Kana….." Ceilie was still in a daze. She had no idea what was going on. Why could Kana do so much!? Why could she open portals to different places!? Nothing made sense!
"Big Sister, I will be back, and once everything is settled, you will be able to live a good life without worry. Watch out for Tilia." Kana walked up, gave Ceilie a hug, and disappeared.
Ceilie just stood there in a confused state, unsure of what to make of all of this. Tilia walked over and held her hand. "Don't worry. Kana is doing this for us. She should be okay. She seems much stronger than we could have ever imagined. Plus. Don't dragons normally have some kind of long lost knowledge implanted in them? Maybe she got it after she evolved."
"But this is Kana we are talking about! The one who apologized to Pepelt for eating his brother!" Ceilie cried. It was too much. Her cute little dragon friend turned into a mama!
In a dark, dank dungeon, water dripped from the ceiling. Moss grew on the stone cobble walls. The entire place stank of feces and strange orders that one could not find a distinct starting point to.
A man in worn grey clothes sat in the back of the dungeon, pondering on how to escape. He had been thinking about it for days, but no matter how much he struggled to figure it out, he still couldn't find a solution. He had reinforced this dungeon with anti magite. A kind of special ore that, when embedded into walls, made the room someone, become a magic free zone. No one could cast magic in it.
Or so he thought…..
A light filled the dark dungeon room as a tear in space suddenly appeared in front of him. "You!? Who are you!?" The man asked as he stared at the small little girl in front of him.
"Old man, how are ya?" Kana greeted the man in front of him with a smile. "I come to get you out. Everything will be explained once we get back to the safe house."
"You? But…. How did you cast magic in here!? This is a magic free cell!" The man, who was none other than the king himself, asked in surprise.
"Ummm? This little warding this these rocks give off is nothing." She was someone who was more powerful than the gods of this realm. Some rock would not stop her from casting spells.
"I see…." The king was very confused, but he only knew one thing. He could leave! He had no idea who this little girl was, but since she was friendly and wanted to take him out, he would take this chance even if it meant death!
Kana opened, helped the king off, and cast some cleansing magic on him to clean his body and clothes for him before helping him through the tear in space. They quickly returned to Helden's house. Everything happened in less than five minutes.
"Your majesty!" Helden quickly knelt down so did his wife. Ceilie and Tilia were about to but were stopped by Kana. "No need. The old man doesn't care."
"Cough!" He knew he was older than the girl, but to keep calling him old man when he was still in his thirties was just a bit… Of course, he would not bring such a thing up with a girl who just saved his life. "Yes, please stand up. It seems I will be imposing on you for a time. You are Captain Helden? The guard captain?"
"Your Majesty knows me!?" Helden was surprised he rarely got to see the king, never mind talking to him.
"I make a note to keep an eye on all my people." The king replied. "I have met you quite a few times, but just in a different form. Now then. Little girl…."
"Kana!" Kana quickly fixed his address. "I am Kana. This is Ceilie, and this over here is Princess Tilia of the human kingdom."
"This….." The king looked at Tilia in surprise. He took a deep breath and asked: "Princess Tilia, may I ask why a princess from the human kingdom is here?"
"It is so I can warn you of an impending invasion….."
