Chapter 113: Chapter 113: You are not allowed to touch the Second Young Master!
Pullan’s eyes were filled with immense anger.
Abigail frowned, “Are you insane?”
It was the first time she had called someone insane twice in a row.
“You woman, although Brandon didn’t owe you much, he did help you. How could you be so ungrateful?” Pullan clenched his fist, but hearing Abigail’s words left him feeling desperate and powerless.
Such a talented person like Brandon should have reached greater heights.
But…
“Have you come to your senses? The poison in your body isn’t lethal. After some bloodletting, you should have some strength now. If so, help me lift him onto the operating table.” Abigail didn’t understand how such a tough guy could think so irrationally!
She happened to come here today, and now they blamed her for leaking Brandon Piers’s whereabouts. That scoundrel had promised her that if she won the medical competition, she could be the chief surgeon, but then he secretly went for a chest surgery. He was thrown into the lab halfway through. What did that have to do with her?
Pullan’s mind was in turmoil. He wanted to exert his strength but couldn’t keep up physically. He wanted to argue but couldn’t say a word due to being called insane. He hated her so much, yet she casually ordered him around.
For a moment, Pullan’s chaotic mind went blank. Who to lift onto the operating table?
Brandon?
How did he get down from it? What did this woman do to him?
Thinking about this, Pullan wanted to glare at Abigail again, but when he met her don’t-dare-mess-with-me stare, he instinctively shrank back. Just as he was about to ask, Abigail had already turned away.
After a few internal struggles, he finally couldn’t overcome his concern for Brandon. Pullan reluctantly stood up, unsteadily following Abigail.
He didn’t walk far before seeing Brandon lying flat on the ground. His face was as cold as ice, and the surrounding area was stained with blood, making him look even more monstrous despite his already beautiful appearance.
But Pullan couldn’t feel his breath.
“This is all Brandon’s blood…” Pullan muttered, trembling and his steps grew heavier.
He knew Brandon wouldn’t survive this disaster, but he never imagined he would die so tragically!
Thud!
“Brandon!” Pullan mourned again, kneeling on the ground, “I’m sorry, Brandon. I didn’t protect you. It’s all my fault!”
After saying this, Pullan choked with sobs.
Although Brandon had been unpredictable and was rumored to be cold-hearted, with a beautiful face but more venomous than a woman. He had killed his uncle, sent his brothers to prison, had no conscience, and was ruthlessly cruel.
Yet, as his close bodyguard for years, Pullan knew that Brandon seemed heartless but was the most conscientious person in the Piers family. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have accepted someone like Pullan.
But Pullan didn’t choose Brandon at the most critical moment.
“Ungrateful!” Pullan cried and cursed, a tough guy of six feet nearly weeping like a deserted wife.
When Abigail came out in her blood-spattered surgical gown, she saw Pullan kneeling on the ground, his eyes red from crying. She twitched at the corners of her mouth, “Cried enough?”
Hearing this, Pullan looked up and glared fiercely at Abigail. This ungrateful person had the nerve to ask if he cried enough?
“If you’ve cried enough, help out.”
Abigail ignored Pullan’s feelings, walked to Brandon’s head, and squatted down. Just as she was about to touch him, Pullan hysterically screamed, “Don’t you dare touch him!”
Abigail’s hand paused just before touching Brandon. She raised her shoulder to rub her vibrating ear, “If you shout again, believe it or not, I will give him a lethal injection!”
It was too noisy!
